A local guide introduced us to this restaurant. Small and cozy place to have dinner. Claimed their tortellini brodo is the best. It lived up to its name. Must try their rabbit Roulette. And for desert their tiramisu. Ask the chef for red wine recommendations.

One of our best meals during our two weeks in Italy, perfectly cooked ham hock with rich delicious potato’s, my wife’s lasagna was great as well, we had their chocolate cake, which was delightful, but also their tiramisu was next level, so, so good.

Just amazing! My personal experience is that this restaurant deserves all the praise in the world. A small menu, which ensures quality of the food. I can assure you, this was one of the best dinners I’ve had if not the best. Top it off with a wine selection which will not get you bored, even when becoming a regular. When you walk in, you see that the hosts like their job and enjoy one another. And then to bring harmony to everything that I’ve just said, it’s affordable, you’re paying true prices for true food

Family run and extremely delicious pastas! I even ordered two for myself, including the traditional tortellini in broth. I was also able to communicate with the staff in English and they were very kind to us. Be sure to reserve in advance since they are usually completely booked for dinners.

We loved everything: tortellini in brodo, tagliatelle al ragù, tiramisù, tenerina, the wine, everything. Truly exceptional pasta. And the people are very friendly. This is the best food we had in Bologna (and there are a lot of great places there).

One of the best places I visited for food in Bologna. Delicious pasta, amazing local products especially wine and meat. Owner is such a lovely guy who recommends you exactly right food to fit your taste! Go and try the famous Bologna Meatballs!

Great desserts, it first what came in my mind as memories about this place. Friendly owner/service. Food traditional, let's say "Bologna style". Huge selection of wines. You can drink, eat, enjoy or buy some wine and enjoy later 😉.

La Bottega was very close to where we stayed. We enjoyed our pastas and I would say it was the best tiramisu we had on our trip.

The food: I had the tagliatelle bolognese. Very good this is a good example of home made pasta. You can really taste the difference of this type pf pasta. The sauce is very tasty as well, but for those who like the pasta in lost of tomato sauce, this one will cone across as “too dry”. However, the meet in the sauce is also very good. The restaurant has many wine alternatives of you are thirsty of some good Italian alternatives. Portion sizes: i’d say these are moderate dishes if you are two, one shared starter and two main courses is pretty much ok. Except if you want dessert. The service: they bring in the food super fast, no much wait. The place is rather small, no more than 12 tables. So they can handle pretty well. This is a mom’ & paps’ restaurant. They serve the place pretty well. Enjoy!

Lovely and cozy place, maybe a bit chill once you have acclimated. Friendly and hospitable waiter. The food was far from that - the tagliatelle al ragu alla bolognese were missing tomato sauce so were not that delicious; the same for tortellini with cream - the cream was too little; and the shock was the tiramisu - it looked like as if it was made up just by our request and very clumsy - dry biscotti, badly mixed mascarpone, some cocoa powder - overall bitter taste and very disappointing appearance; did not feel like symphony of taste in the mouth as it should be! Moreover, combining all of this with the higher prices, I don't recommend this place unless the cook improves his approach.
