You will probably need to book in advance, but it is absolutely worth it! Some of the best food we’ve ever eaten. Highly recommended
We dined twice at a lovely Il Vicoletto restaurant in Stresa and both times were amazing! Everything was perfect — delicious food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Outstanding! Their risotto for two is flavorful and adequate for the two servings. Plentiful portions. Small setting with seating both indoors and outdoors. Outside of the busy piazza where locals go. Reservation are advised. Highly recommended
We had a wonderful dinner here. Friendly waiters and fun menu. We had mixed fish platter as antipasti and were pleasantly surprised by the different kinds of fish, pickled, smoked and deep fried. Pasta was freshly made. I wasn’t sure about the rabbit rolls, but that’s could be because I haven’t had rabbit before. The mojito panna cotta was the perfect dessert to end the night - the mojito gelatine made it very refreshing. The couple next to us told us they came back after dining here 6 years ago!
Best oft the best on Lago Maggiore and the best restaurant in Stresa by far. Very friendly stuff with excellent service in a classic Italian atmosphere. The food was extraordinary good. Couldn’t say anything bad. This restaurant is worth every penny. I definitely come back when I’m visiting Lago Maggiore again. Thank you il Vicoletto!
We had beef entrecote and grilled rabbit and both were amazing
The food was my first Italy lunch ever. It was unbelievably good. I had the zucchini pesto and it blew me away. The service was also fantastic. I would eat here every day.

- great Italian trattoria - small card and you taste the fresh ingredients - very nice and flavourful food - such a friendly service (we went there the day after as we needed a toilette and they recognised us and offered us a coffee for free) - I recommend the vitello tonnato and the fish of the day We will come back! ❤️
We accidently stumbled upon this quaint restaurant after the one we were going to didn't pan out. After reading their menu and decided to give a chance. We were not disappointed. The was very tasty but the grilled fillet of veal with roasted baby potatotes and black cabage was a real treat. For desert we shared an almond cake and chocolate and a meringue with chocolate both of which are to die for. The bill was under 90eu which is quite reasonable. Cheers

The food at this restaurant was one of the best we’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend ! The staff is very professional and polite. The menu is in French and English as well. The portion are good.
Exquisite dishes, lovely atmosphere and welcoming, friendly staff. Unpretentious fine dining at its best. I could quite happily eat the goat cheese and roasted pear every day for the rest of my life.
One of the best eating experiences in Stresa. A hidden gem with homade traditional food cooked and seved with lots of love. All dishes were served on time with the highest quality of ingredients. What made the whole experience memorable was the service and the positive attitude/vibes of the staff. Best value for money Micheln restaurant period. PS: the place is small; thus, reservation is definitely needed
I'd say a 4.5. Service was friendly and speedy. Food was almost excellent. The seafood pasta needed a bit more oomph say, some chilli flakes. The lamb was very good. I was there at 9pm so maybe that contributed. Portion sizes were a bit more normal than say due Piccioni.
5 Star restaurant hidden in beautiful Stresa. It's tucked away in the back of the town, so while you don't get views of the lake, you get wonderful service and incredible food. The wine list is fanatic and the staff are great. It couldn't have been a better meal.

A beautiful calm space very elegantly decorated, we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of this lovely spot. I think we chose badly from a varied menu but overall the food was slightly disappointing and way over seasoned.
Nice small place, massive wine list. Only negative was the over the top €3pp cover charge, and the possibility of recycling the "bread in the bag". That looks suspicious.
Food tastes okay, but price for value is horrible. My ravioli cost 16€ and even a baby would not be full after eating it. + Coperto of 3,50€/ Person. Would not eat here again.
