We had such a great experience at Dennys, first time in a long time. Gail was our waitress and right away she gave off a great vibe with her bright smile and energy. You dont see that nowadays. Cambrie demonstrated that she takes her job seriously by having us seated within seconds of entering, taking our orders with a genuine smile and a positive attitude. She’s an authentic server who works with a passion. She ensured that the communication was on track as to the food preferences, and she brought our food within a short time that impressed me! Dennys can be hit or miss. Breakfast plates are usually great. Just make sure you get the eggs exactly like you want them. At lunch i get a sandwich or salad and 90% of the time they are fresh and tasty. Service is best when they arent packed but thats normal. Price is a little high but try to split a plate because its always plenty of food.

So I don’t know they were pretty short handed when I went due to the covid virus. So a slow wait might be in store! Also some of their menu items changed. The pancakes taste more like a funnel cake batter...they don’t seem traditional to me. The club sandwiches pictured are bigger with different bread but still tasty. The restaurant itself is remodeled and looks excellent however.

Food wasn't what I expected. I ordered chicken fried steak(taste like a frozen meat patty) , mashed potatoes (didn't taste like mashed potatoes) looked like staff chopped up a bake potato with a little skin left on. Salad was good. Won't be back anytime soon.

Sausage under cooked. Bacon undercooked as well. Chicken tenders dry and rubbery. 4 tables with three or under customers at each yet waitress never checked on us after bringing food. Had to ask for silverware. All three sets were dirty and half washed. Disappointing meal over all. One customer had to go to the counter to request to pay his bill because the staff was hanging out in back. Paid bill, tipped and won’t return to this location. Left most of food uneaten due to poor preparation. One of the guest I bought this was his first experience eating at a Dennys he was extremely unimpressed. I told him to try a different location. Me and my family have been eating here for years, and it has been pretty good. Today we went there to eat and was told they were backed up in the kitchen and we couldn’t be seated quite yet. That sounded fine to use, because we understand that things happen, but as soon as we was seated some girl came out of the kitchen and got on to our waiter in front of use and told him not to seat anyone else. All and all there was only 4 other families besides us in the place, and they were all Mexican, witch wouldn’t have set off any alarm for me, but as we were getting up to just leave and go somewhere else a Mexican family walked in and the manager of the Denny's made it a point to go meet them at the door and seat them so they could be served. This was our last time eating at this Dennys, I would have expected that kind of negativity towards white people up north, but not from Victoria.

So here in Texas at Dennys. It sure hasn’t started out well. It took almost 15 mins to get drinks. Smh can’t believe it. Give me a minute and I will update this after our food gets here😉 the one star unfortunately, is for the service which was slow. Well since we all got our food everyone is eating.😌

Worst meal I have ever eaten at a Denny's. I regretted eating there. We will not return. The wild Alaskan salmon was white. The red skinned potatoes were overcooked. When I got tired of waiting for our ticket to leave I had to yell for waitress who was in kitchen. Restaurant had only 2 tables of couples when we arrived and only 1 when we left. Go anywhere else!!! They don't deserve the 1 star

if I could put 0 stars I would, me and my pregnant mom waited 30 minutes to be seated, then when we went to get seated this bigger lady was so so rude didn’t even turn around to speak to us very unprofessional, was speaking about the seating in a rude manner to the other worked that was trying to seat us, we wouldn’t treat our customers like that in my workspace and hearing how rude she was is ridiculous and again unprofessional.

I really don't leave negative reviews but I was totally upset with the service my family had received, it took them almost 2 hours to get our food ready, right when we hit almost an hour in our wait we had barley got our drinks and it took them 45 min after we got them to get our food out!!! This most definitely will be my last choice to go to eat!!
