I have been working in Vidor for a little over a week and there is hardly ever a wait. The few times that I did have to wait by the time I pulled around to the front the lady was already coming out with my food. Food always comes out fresh and hot. Staff is genuinely kind and awesome.

One of the coolest thngs that local businesses can do is support the kids in their community and the Vidor Dairy Queen absolutely does that. After their basketball games, the Vidor Dairy Queen gives out free ice cream cone to the kids that played. 😲😃Pretty stinking cool!

Food usually is accurate and always tastes good from this location. The wait normally isnt too long depending on time of day you go. Normally ordering a burger, fries for here with a blizzard to go.

Nobody ever wants to provide decent customer service anymore. 3 different girls were at and/or around the counter as we walked in and my friend was able to order his food, but I couldn't till about another 5-7 mins later. They would acknowledge us by making eye contact but then walk away and not say a word. It's not so much that they were flat out rude, just seemed more lazy or simply just didn't care they were at work. The food was decent, it's fast food...

The food was great and so was the service. The lobby was quite dirty though and there weren't very many people at the time so someone could have been cleaning. I didn't see anyone clean the whole time we were there.

Vidor DQ is always pretty slow for fast food, but the food is always good, and the dessert is tasty.

Ice cream was good, but they need to fix their blending skills, like literally a third of my ice cream is not blended. I got a large New York cheesecake. I work at a Dairy Queen, you can tell it’s not blended..

I usually don't leave reviews but $77 for this deserves one. We received curdled ranch, stale fries, burnt jalitos, and hard over cooked chicken tenders. The burgers were perfectly fine but honestly the only thing actually edible.

Let me preface this by saying that yes, I did order rather close to closing time; I would have been absolutely fine and understanding if the staff had not taken my order in the first place, but that is obviously not what happened. They took my order, a very simple order with only a single item (one blizzard), had me pay, and then asked me to go wait around the front; no issue so far. Well I sit there and wait. The guy that was in front of me (who, by extension was also ordering right near closing time) was waiting next to me. His order was brought out with no issue. I sat and waited for over 20 minutes, all while I could see the staff cleaning up for the night with no sign of my order being made. After another few minutes it was clear that I was not getting my order. Again, had the staff told me when I pulled up to the restaurant initially that they were not taking any more orders for the night, I would have moved on with my night with no issue. What irritates me is that I paid and everything and never received what I paid for. Basically, don't bother ordering if it's within 10 minutes of closing, they'll take your order and your money just fine but whether or not you get what you ordered is a gamble.

I'm tired of all of these places ripping people off. You have to ask for extra meat on your tacos to get the normal amount. Why do these places have to rip people off and skimp the food after they jack up the prices? So now your tacos cost 15 bucks for 4 tacos! Dairy Queen tacos aren't worth 15 bucks unless you're rich or starving! I'm done with this store unless my kids beg for it.
