Restaurante donde no cogen reservas. Empiezan 13,30 h y te van dando mesa lógicamente por orden de llegada. Tienen 4 menús de distinto precio. No es necesario que la mesa completa coja el mismo menú. Yo comí el menú de 17 €. La comida estaba buena (normal, nada destacable), las raciones bien y el postre era casero. El rissoto estaba de sabor bueno, pero el arroz un poco pasado. Pedimos un torrezno para picar que no recomiendo que pidan, estaba muy duro, recalentado. El servicio rápido, para que comas y el siguiente...

Entramos a preguntar para comer 4 adultos, 1 niño y un bebe en carrito. Nos pusieron en una mesa de 4, asi que comimos apretados (no había nadie en el comedor). Sopa de cocido de hace 3 dias y rissoto horrible, cabrito muy rico y cochinillo frito aceptable. Postres caseros abundantes y buenos. Precio elevado para la calidad.

It's a restaurant located at the entrance to the village that offers an interesting gastronomic experience. It has a fairly large terrace and a dining room, and we were careful to book in advance, which allowed us to ensure we had a table. Interestingly, they asked for a €10 deposit, which was later returned. We went specifically for a ribeye steak, as there are a lot of cattle in the area and we wanted to experience the quality of the local meat. We were torn between the beef entrecote and the veal ribeye, and the waiter recommended the latter, so we ordered two ribeye steaks, one of them rare. Unfortunately, the rare ribeye steak arrived cold, so we asked for it to be reheated a little longer. However, they cooked it too much and it was overcooked. Furthermore, the knives didn't cut the meat properly, which was a bit awkward. The meat itself had a good flavor, but lacked a lot of salt, which was a common flaw in all the dishes we ordered. The fries were very good and homemade, which was a plus. The goat cheese was tasty, but overcooked and dry. Like the ribeye steak, it lacked salt. An additional disappointment was that they didn't have torreznos (pork rinds) on the menu, something we expected to find in a restaurant in the area. The service was very good and friendly, which contributed to a more enjoyable experience. However, the price-performance ratio was perhaps a little more expensive than we expected. Overall, Virginia Restaurant has potential, but needs work on some aspects, such as the meat preparation and seasoning of the dishes. If these issues are resolved and the selection of typical local dishes is expanded, it could be an excellent restaurant to enjoy local meat in Vinuesa.

Food was ok, the service was nice but the place is totally overpriced. They brought us bread that we didn't ask for, but of course most of the restaurants do that for free. To our surprise, we found it on the bill, 4 euros for 5 very dry pieces of bread.

We had just finished hiking the Black Lagoon trail and stumbled upon this restaurant. It was quite late (3:40 pm) and we didn't have a reservation, so we knew it would be difficult to find a table. Luckily, they had a free table on the covered terrace with a heater nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal. As for the food, we were starving and it was delicious. However, when we saw the prices, we weren't entirely satisfied with the quality. The ribeye steak wasn't very flavorful; there was very little meat and it was difficult to cut due to the marbling and excess fat. For almost €40 per steak, we expected more. The desserts were very good.

We checked out this place during our trip to Soria. By the packed environment we figured it was worth a shot. The service was excellent and the waitress was wonderful however the quality of the food was nothing special and over priced for what you get.

Nice basic menus available. We had the 16eur one, it was fine after a day's hiking. We also had breakfast here two days in a row, v nice coffee with a napolitana.

Pretty basic restaurant. Everything was a bit overpriced.

Nos cobraron 100 pavos por lo siguiente: Paté de “pato”: una conserva enlatada de dudosa procedencia con la misma salsa “sirope” que la infame tarta de queso (dudo que ni de polvos royal), al paté nos sumaron sin consultar unos biscotes de 2,40 la cesta. La carne la pedimos poco hecha y la trajeron cocida y fria, porque evidentemente era carne congelada. Las sopas de hongos que era un agua con trozos imagino que de los sobrantes de los biscotes y “hongos”, de bote igual que las alubias pintas. Pedimos una botella de clarete y nos trajeron un rosado “piripintado”, que no lo conoce ni su madre, por el módico precio de 17 bolos. La caña 2,40. Vergonzoso, indescriptible experiencia, retirándonos los platos a medio comer. No vayan. Denunciable. Mi pareja me dijo que la reseña habría sido peor si hubiese visto la tortilla de patata de la barra. Ahí lo dejo.

Muy mala experiencia , preguntamos expresamente si había caldo como consumición y nos dijeron que sí. Pedimos 2 Coca-Colas, 1 cerveza y 4 caldos, y sin informarnos del precio ni del tamaño nos sirven un cuenco enano de caldo por 5,80 € cada uno. En ningún momento nos avisaron. Falta total de transparencia. No volveremos.

No me ha gustado la comida nada el risotto muy pastoso ,la torrija malísima . Al sentarnos hemos pedido una cerveza cada uno y luego no nos han puesto nada de beber y eso que entraban las bebidas y pensábamos que serían las cervezas y luego nos encontramos que nos las cobran y además carísimas. Experiencia pésima.

Typical weekend outing without any planning. We stopped at the first place we saw coming down from the glacial lakes area. There were two adults and two children. At first glance, the place seemed average. We didn't look at prices or anything (it's a normal town). They gave us the menu, and the good news is... it wasn't extensive, and they used what was on the menu to make the same set menus. A LITTLE EXPENSIVE FOR THE PLACE AND THE AREA. FIRST RED FLAG: "IF YOU SHARE THE SET MEAL, YOU CHARGE 50% MORE." My children don't each order a set menu, and we didn't want to order double, so... we each chose one dish. On the plus side, the portions were decent (fine for my children, average for adults). POTATOES WITH SWISS MUSHROOMS. Good flavor. Nothing extraordinary. PINNAMON BEANS. Good flavor. BOLETUS MUSHROOM RISOTTO. Good flavor, perhaps less pasty would be better, and with a little grated cheese on top it would be a 10. GOAT CHEESE SALAD. I'd describe it as a love/hate thing. LARGE, almost enough to share. A large slice of goat cheese log, chopped asparagus, onion, LOTS of lettuce cut a bit too coarsely (for my taste), raisins, egg, and I think it was fried onion... a splash of balsamic vinegar. Well put together, but... PORK RIND. Soria is the birthplace of the pork rind, little criticism of the quality, good flavor, but... it arrived at the table lukewarm, verging on cold, and supposedly it had just been taken out of the refrigerator. I came for a coffee and a pastry… I'm just passing through. It's 3:50 p.m. I told them what I wanted, and they said, "Fine." They said they'd close at 4:30 p.m. I sat down on the terrace, brought me what I ordered, and on top of that, they told me they'd charge me now because they close at 4:00 p.m. 30 minutes before, seeing that I wasn't going to eat properly, just coffee and dessert. The first thing they tell us is that there are no torreznos. In a place where torrezno is a religion, there aren't any. We're off to a bad start. Second, they don't have the wine we ordered either, and they offer us an "equivalent" one, but it wasn't Crianza but oak for the same price. The outrageous thing is when we order a salad of red peppers and tuna belly. Let's see: if the menu says "red pepper salad WITH tuna belly," you expect them to serve you peppers and tuna belly. But what they served us was an illustrated salad with tons of lettuce decorated with four slices of tuna belly and four slices of peppers. 4. I've attached a photo. That's not a salad of peppers with tuna belly. That's a normal salad WITH peppers and tuna belly—not many, by the way. If we misuse prepositions, we're conveying a misleading message and deceiving the customer. (€14.50. No comments). I've attached a photo of the menu. I'm not making anything up. We continued with a portion of truffle cheese. They brought us eight almost transparent slices of cheese, no more than two millimeters thick (€13.50. No comments) and a portion of very dry and poorly sliced Serrano ham. Two euros more for two slices of bread. The joke came to almost €70 for two people, and obviously, we were very hungry. The salad was a complete rip-off. It's symptomatic how at the bar with a terrace opposite, on the other side of the road, all the tables were full and customers were queuing for a table, while at this other bar, it was just a matter of arriving and sitting down. Clearly, the regulars already know where not to go. We're not from Vinuesa, but we occasionally drop by. We lost €70, they lost a few more customers.
