Awesome service per usual and even more amazing food. Ordered the wrong thing on accident, but our waitress, Anna F., was able to take care of quickly. Was very thankful to her and her outstanding customer service. She was sweet and made good conversation, refilled our drinks at the perfect time, and checked on us at the perfect intervals. Compliments to the chefs as well, never dissapoints. Highly recommend coming to this location. Tried the new dragon fruit margarita as well, and if you're a fan of the fruit, this is a must try. Will most definitely be continuing to be a customer at this location.

We eat here every 6-8 weeks. Food is always good, but my review is on our waiter Noah. He is absolutely the best. After just a couple times he remembered our drinks and had them out in a flash. Next time he remembered what we wanted and how we wanted, but still checked with us first. Super nice guy and makes our visit there so enjoyable. Love tipping good for good service, since nowadays it's hard to come by. Thank you Noah!

Texas Roadhouse has been a staple for great steak for me for a long time. We decided to try Longhorn Steakhouse just to try something a little different and let tell you it was worth it. My Ribeye was cooked to medium perfection and the shrimp was phenomenal. Price was good and service was great. Definitely worth the try if your looking for a good steak in Waco

My husband and I had dinner at the Waco LongHorn last night (Aug.3,2017) with some friends and we were both very impressed by the service we received. Beyond the just exceptional quality of food, timing of service, and friendly staff, we were so impressed by the intentionality. They accommodated our many special requests, comped a side of fries for the kiddos (just because) and charged us a lunch price soup/salad for one child even though it was 7:30 p.m. Another over the top impressive moment for us was when our server asked if we had a birthday at our table, she had thought she'd overheard that. We said no, but then I remembered my birthday is next Sunday so I said if there was free ice cream involved then I was game! She laughed and said of course. We asked her to take a photo of us all (Our friends were visiting from California) and she obliged and then said, "We'll be back after dinner to take another photo with the birthday surprise too!" and sure enough after dinner, I was served a beautiful ice cream sundae, personalized syrup greeting on the plate, cheesy eye goggles to play with, and they took a digital camera photo of us, printed it, framed it, and had all the servers and manager sign the frame! AND gave me a coupon for a free appetizer. I was so touched. It wasn't expected, wasn't embarrassing, and felt very thoughtful. Thank you LongHorn's for the fun night, wonderful service, and special memory.

I took longhorn special shrimp and chicken with sides (mashed potato and brussel sprout and fried okra) and the longhorn special salad. I did not like the chicken but i liked the shrimp and brussels. It was a good to go food.

Not enough stars for these guys. I’ve been to 3 high end steakhouses and none of them come close to tonight’s experience. I’ve spent hundreds at those steakhouses and for a fraction of that I had the best steak and the best sides. Autumn (waitress) was amazing. She kept my tea glass full and was attentive but on over attentive. Del Frisco’s, Four Winds and Papa Bros couldn’t hit the mark in my opinion but Longhorn in Waco,Tx went above and beyond my expectations tonight and left the afore mentioned steakhouses behind. Kudos to the crew in Waco. I wish you all the best.

I ordered the 9 oz filet medium rare with fully loaded baked potato. I have never had a steak so good. Buttery tenderness, melt in your mouth perfection. Absolutely wonderful. I don't do posts but this particular encounter prompted me to do so.

The steak was good, but I think it was a little salty. It's just personal preference, but it's for review sake. However, I think the Texas Tonions (battered onion peels) were pretty good. Also, the chocolate stampede is a great deal for $9.99; It has 2 large slices of chocolate cake and 2 scoops of ince cream. Overall, I would rate the restaurant 5 stars. There's a lot more here to try than steak, so I'll probably want to come back and see.

Shrimp was delicious! Parmesan Crusted Chicken and mashed potatoes, very tasty. Tonion was Crispy and pair well with the house made sauce.

It's not a bargain meal, but there's real value to the service and plate size. Our server never allowed me to finish a glass of peach tea completely, and we always end with at least half of our meals. We're not extravagant, so Longhorn steakhouse represents significant luxury for us.

This is a nice place. Could be better if had more private seating instead of packed. If you follow my post I like seating in or at the bar. I happen to like this bar. Anyway I've eaten here for lunch and dinner. My favorite, the Porter House. The lunch 2 drinks was over $50 and dinner with 2 drinks was more like $70. I have eaten there several times and I will go back again.

Everything was great. Food is always seasoned well. Only complaint, my grandsons steaks were ordered medium well, when we cut into them, they were rare. It was Father's Day, and they were quite busy. We had waited a little long for our food so we didn't send them back.

The staff made sure to accommodate our group and gave us ample space in our table. The staff is kind and courteous while still respecting your time and space. The steak was full of flavor and cooked well. I would definitely return to this establishment for another steak. The sides and salad were also good and all the items were decently priced.

This is where my wife and I do date night. Great atmosphere and the food is incredible. The staff is friendly and professional. They go out of their way to make your visit everything you expect it to be. I absolutely love doing business with this establishment.

My husband and I come here a lot to wind down and have a drink or to celebrate and every single time this restaurant shows UP! We came last time to celebrate and anniversary! Best customer service, the best steaks, and oh God the margs are just amazing! I had the dragon fruit marg and I wish I could've finished it because it was just so delicious! I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I usually order an appetizer as an entree and a side plus a sweet tea. The service is great and I've never had a bad experience here. The steakhouse wings are a new favorite of mine along with, either, the stuffed mushrooms or steakhouse macn' cheese.

Buddy got the outlaw steak rare and he loved it. I got the small Flo steak rare and I liked it too. We both agreed it was the best we had. Tender and tasty.

One of the better Longhorns I've been too. Brought the family here for lunch while visiting from Mississippi. The waitress was so friendly and personal with every one of my party. Due to the size of my party I would have thought service would be slow but was pleasantly surprised with the swiftness that the staff took care of our food and needs. Their parmesan chicken was on point and the fried mushrooms where delicious. Could not speak more highly of this location and its staff. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I’d like to start off by saying this was my first time ever here and it definitely won’t be my last. The food was phenomenal, ESPECIALLY THE LAMB CHOPS (probably the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been to some fancy places) and Lee was an amazing waiter. We ordered the Lamb chops, Mac & Chesse with corn on the cob + Flo Filet, strawberry salad & rice. Food timing was perfect we didn’t wait long at all which was nice because we were absolutely starving. We came in close to closing time & were still able to enjoy our meal comfortably, the staff didn’t rush us or anything. I would go here over outback and Texas Roadhouse any day and everyday of the week! Definitely a 10 out of 10 and I recommend. (They even threw in free ice cream for a late birthday celebration which was dope).

Excellent food. However, my wife did not read the whole plate description in Manu and ordered it wrongly. During the consumption, the server, Jimmy, spotted my wife disappointed with the food. He was very concerned and apologetic for my wife's fault. Restaurant Manager - Amanda was very soon by the table, politely investigating the situation. A few minutes later, Manager Amanda brought another plate. Once again, that was my wife's mistake. That restaurant culture and care I only observed in high-end restaurants. Food was delicious and I very highly recommend that restaurant under Amanda management.

Very friendly and constantly checked on us. The last time we had Anthony who also did an amazing job. They seem to hire great employees here. Lots of great menu choices. The food was very good. We got a few appetizers. My favorite was the shrimp. I also enjoyed the lobster chowder. I ordered the chicken fried chicken which was fried and seasoned perfectly. I highly recommend coming here. It had been several years since we last dined at Saltgrass, but it is just as good, if not better than ever! We had a wonderful lunch yesterday consisting of their Steak and Shrimp lunch specials. Perfectly cooked and seasoned 6 ounce Sirloin steak, excellent fried Butterflied Shrimp, great roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and a crispy, fresh salad with homemade dressings came with a loaf of tasty fresh-baked bread. Normally, we don't order drinks at lunch, but we shared the best Bloody Mary cocktail we've ever had - spicy, tangy and with a strip of Bacon and a boiled shrimp. The service was quick and accurate, and the price was fair for the meal at around $60, including tax and a 20% tip. We will DEFINITELY be back soon!

Lovely restaurant to come to after church on Sundays. Busy on weekends though, we've waited for almost an hour to be seated but maybe because it was a big group and kids. We called in to let them we were coming, they assured us that our table would be ready in 15min upon our arrival but it ended being almost an hour before we sat down. The manager gave us a free appetizer apologized, and thanked us for being patient. We came back just me and my family and still had great service. I recommend this place. Good food and atmosphere. UPDATE June 16/2019: We came here last week and today for Father's day. Food is always great but customer service especially the waiters need improvement.

Overall I had a pretty good experience. This is a good place for a date or to eat with your family. The restaurant is clean and the staff is nice. I had the Salmon on rice. It was pretty good. I would recommend the brisket queso. I really enjoyed the salad and my sweet potato. The chocolate cheesecake was very rich. If you love chocolate this would be a great dessert for you. I went in the evening on a Tuesday so it wasn't too busy.

Me and the wife ordered 2 8oz steaks, I got a salad and baked potato fully loaded and she got mac and cheese. Mine was all delicious and the steak was a tiny bit undercooked from the medium rare I ordered but it was super juicy and quite tender, both of ours was. He was out of silverware at the front door so I had to ask my waiter (this was not his fault.) the utensils came wrapped in a very nice cloth for wiping, you get two forks and a very nicely made weighted knife. The salad was delivered far before the plates did, we did wait quite a while for the food but the place was very busy. The restroom left alot to be desired, it was quite nasty in the stall and there is no sanitary way of opening the door when finished (Arm hook or foot catch) however the overall physical condition of the restroom was nice, maybe someone had not made it around to cleaning yet as it was quite busy in the restaurant overall. People are not lying when they tell you that you will get more food at Roadhouse over this place for the price, there's no denying this place is expensive. But Roadhouse also had a 1 hour wait-list and was extremely packed and noisy. This place was cleaner and much nicer or "fancier" for a 2 person date and we were seated immediately. With my 2 plates, and the two drinks (Dr.Pepper) my total was $53-$54 without gratuity which I always hand in cash directly. Keep in mind that was one of the cheapest steak options and I seen most options going for around the $30-$40 mark. The overall quality of the steaks were a bit more over Roadhouse, they were swimming in their own juices and nice and tender. I have dentures and had absolutely no problems, they bring you a very good bread loaf on a cutting board but beware the butter was hard as a rock (probably just cold) and the steak knife was amazing. Roadhouse is usually tougher, thicker, much more undercooked than ordered, and soo busy you can't hear each other talking. I love both places however. 4 star due to price, but we will return in the future for sure. Price is a bit high for Waco dining, especially in front of a Walmart. Also my waiter was quite nice, but due to business around him and my wife being thirsty I did have to hand my drink off to her. He brought us a free to go drink upon leaving that we didn't even ask for and he got the order right! Yes yes yes. The to go boxes are small. Like.....small small.

A very nice chain restaurant - the bread is delicious and so was all of our food. I ordered the chopped sirloin steak with Fried Okra and sweet potato. The okra is cut in half longways and fried in a very seasoned batter. It was the star of the plate! My daughter said her Caesar salad was also delicious. My Godmother had the ribs and loved them! All the portions are very generous - my dish was enough for 3-4 servings. It was a very nice family dinner. Also - our server was very kind and accommodating!

I had to give the food a 3 this time. The porterhouse tasted totally unseasoned and overcooked. We didn't fuss about it because it was a celebration and it's normally done right but this is the second time it was like this. The ribeye however was great and one sprinkle away from being over seasoned. The kids Kraft Mac n cheese was a hit! The sides and salads were great too. We have been to other locations and usually have consistent food. This location may be going through some changes in the kitchen or something. Our server was fantastic and attentive. We will most likely be back. But wish we could trust consistency in your food items, especially steaks.

The meal was okay though a request for medium rare Longhorn yielded a rare instead, which I was still able to eat. Unsure if they maintain a clean grill if grill marks bring flavor of whatever was cooked last. And way too peppery. But edible. I wasn't that impressed instead reminded why we only go if there's a coupon involved. My husband also gave a 3/5 to his order, which was the burger, and the meat was to his liking but the fries were overly salted. Service was nice enough but not overly impressed with the food overall.

This restruant is tidy and clean appearance wise but the cooks/meal preppers need to double check what they're sending out. After waiting 30 minutes for an appetizer we recieved it with a massive curly hair in it. The waiter took it back and apologized and we finally got it back when it was time to leave. The streak and other entrees were very consistent with other LHSH in the area. Don't get me wrong the meal was good but we both lost our appetite after the hair in food incident. Sad since they are pricey. I don't have the photo with the food in it because they took it back too fast.

Can here because Texas Roadhouse was too busy. This place was not very busy, was seated right away in a booth, by friendly staff. Ordered a riibeye that was over salted, potato was great appetizers were great. Husband had porterhouse which was really good. Server did not bring our bread, refill our tea or offer us a to-go cup. I only mention this because this always a standard at Texas Roadhouse. Probably won’t be going back there again.

Could tell it was just made but my fiances hamburger & fries seem to have been warmed up not freshly made like my chicken friend steak. It be nice if ALL the food was hot & freshly made. I almost feel bad writing this review about LongHorn Steakhouse. Normally our experiences are second to none, but this time was not the case. We ordered a couple of the renegade steak 8oz sirloins …

Mediocre at best. I loved their steaks in the past. But the last 3 times I’ve gone, including today (8/12/21) the food is just meh. I decided to stop ordering their more expensive steaks as they’ve been a let down. So I ordered a renegade. Toughest piece of meat I’ve ever encountered. The lettuce on my salad was old. It was just disappointing and I won’t be back again.

Service was "Poor." The server never checked to see if the food or service was right. The waitress brought out all the food and crowded the table. We were eating our appetizers, and the salad and our order were put in our faces before we we had finished the appetizers! She never says a word. The steak I ordered was "Dry and tough" This was my first-time experience. I may try a different location 🤔 and hope the service and food are worth it.

I am very disappointed with my first experience at LongHorn Steakhouse. I came in with high expectations, but unfortunately, I left disappointed. I ordered the Renegade Sirloin 8oz steak and requested it cooked medium. However, my steak came out well done, which was a major letdown. Another person at my table ordered the LongHorn steak and asked for medium well, but his steak also came out well done. I also ordered a loaded baked potato. I was not aware that it came with sour cream since I did not see that listed on the menu. When I informed the waiter about the issue, I never received a corrected side to go with my meal. I was only compensated $1.98, which did not feel sufficient considering the mistakes. I do want to mention that our waiter was very kind, even though she was in training. I do not blame her for the kitchen errors. I still managed to tip her a good tip. I just wish my first experience had been better. Since this was our first time dining here, I truly hoped for a much better overall experience.

Came here for my wife’s Birthday about two weeks ago, can’t even begin where to start where that went wrong , decided to come back today ONLY because Texas Roadhouse was packed and there’s a reason for that and it’s called consistent quality of food and service, I’m the ONLY one at the bar and I have to ask for a beer, you’re a (bartender) your job is to tend the bar. I gave it a shot twice, will not be back to this location ever!!! Sad part is I eat at the one’s in Florida all the time, and they’re excellent! I was borne and raised in Texas, we’re known for bbq and steaks!! Notice the empty beer glass!! Get used to it!!

Went out for an anniversary dinner. Checked in at the hostess stand and was told 15-20 minutes. Waited 35 minutes and they told us they didn’t have us on the waitlist. Biggest waste of time.

Steaks were tremendously over seasoned. It was quite surprising, as we eat at LongHorn all over the place. They were replaced with some cooked with "light seasoning." We took them to go, as we were pretty much not into steak after the over seasoned ones. The baked potatoes seemed to have been sitting for a while. The manager handled it pretty well.

Today, Thursday, July 11, 2025, we went to LongHorn Steakhouse around 10:00 PM, and the server who attended us, a young slender woman with braces, had a rude attitude and looked at us with disdain from the start. She spoke to us sharply and without kindness, which made the experience uncomfortable despite the great food. We hope they improve customer service because good service is essential to enjoy a restaurant. If this attitude does not change, unfortunately, we will not return to this location.

Very nice upscale steak house, but this place is highly overrated! Not only did it take 20 minutes for someone to take our drink orders, but then in another 20 minutes they bring out my salad and immediately delivered our food. I told them I did not want them served together because this is unacceptable. In 20 more minutes they return with our meals and even though we had ordered our steaks medium rare, they were very much overcooked! The ribeye and the sirloin were so tough we couldn’t chew them! We spoke to the manager and she said she is the new owner and had only been there a week and her manager was the cook that day because the cook didn’t show up and they were also short waitstaff, but she would take care of our ticket. I also forgot to mention that one of the young waiters who delivered our food refused to get my husband more butter because “you aren’t my table”! This was even more non acceptable than the burnt steak and the service timing issues! When I got our bill the manager/owner had indeed taken 1/2 off our meals and I paid and still left our waitress a nicer than normal tip because none of the issues were her fault. However, neither of us were able to eat these very expensive steaks and brought them home to our dog! I would not recommend this steak house to anyone and most definitely will not be back!

Great food but the service was lacking . Took about 10 minutes before the waiter arrived to take our drink order then another 5 minutes before it arrived . The waiter walked past us many times after receiving our food which was very odd , we did not get asked if our stake was cooked right or if the order was good or if we needed anything else. We ate our food and waited another 15 mins before just getting up and asking another worker if we could have boxes to go. The waiter visited other tables near by many times but kept walking by us. Not the best experience but thankfully the food was good.

If this is a steakhouse, they don’t know what steaks are. This is Texas man! A real steak should be at least an inch thick. This thing I tried to eat was thin and tough. I thought I was eating a leather strap! I couldn’t even chew it. The waiter was wonderful, but the food not good. Bread was not bad. But I could get that at an Outback which is always good. But I was trying to figure out if I could take my brother-in-law who’s a huge steak man visiting Texas to this place. If you want a hamburger, I’m sure that will be great although I have not tried one. If you want sides they will be greasy. The bake potato was good, but every baked potato is good! But if you’re going for a steak drive past it!!! Try some place else they actually get real beef and are able to understand what a real freaking steak is. I would’ve done better going to H-E-B buying a cut and cooking it myself. Not far to Great wait staff do you have to apologize for steakhouse? That doesn’t really carry a good decent steak. Change your name because you certainly are not a steakhouse and you are a NOT a TEXAS steakhouse for sure.! I hate being so negative but I am outraged over the food! Maybe it’s just Waco because so far I’ve had some pretty crappy steaks in Waco!!!!!!!!!

Had a bug in my salad and the manager proceeded to tell me “we’re going to have to wash them better and get a new vendor… we will throw all of the salad away now .” Ok? That’s all? She said it like it was a frequent problem. Then came out with several more of our food items containing salad/ lettuce. Costumer service was bad overall. Will NOT be returning… upsetting because I’ve been here before and yes it’s that deep… that’s gross so check yalls salads.
