I don’t understand the low rating. The trout house has great food and friendly service. Good coffee too! Lol. I had to laugh at some of the comments from people. Like disappointed because the gravy was not homemade and the place needed updating?? This place is unique. It’s not fancy, it’s not meant to be fancy. Interior definitely needs refreshing. It's dated and feels old & dirty. Prices for breakfast seemed high. But service was great and food was delicious!

Great staff, clean, and fast. My friend treated me out for breakfast. The reason for 4 stars is I asked if the gravy was homemade and was told yes. When someone asks this question, they usually know what real homemade sausage gravy is. What I got was not homemade, it was country gravy out of a powder mix. The biscuits were good. I was disappointed that the gravy was not homemade from scratch.

That breakfast is great most time between $15 and $25 somewhere breakfast is only from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. if you get there after that you could I get their nachos it's big enough to feed two people it costs about $18+ shteaks $25-$50+ drinks $5-$10+ cheese bacon fries picture below

Kinda of a fun atmosphere but the food wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Granted, I only had a simple breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns and Sourdough toast but it came out just above warm. Not hot. The hashbrowns were on the way to crunchy side even for me and not being hot they got less stars. Coffee was good. Service...could have been better.

Came in on 2-5-25 with my wife. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time. I ordered the crispy chicken burger added pepper Jack cheese with onion rings. The chicken breast was about half the size of the bun and very dry with no cheese. I was served bits and pieces of the onion rings that were clearly from the bottom of the bag and were overcooked and hard as a rock. My wife’s calamari was wonderful. I told the waitress that I did not want my burger fixed and we left with only paying for the calamari and soda. This is my first bad experience at this restaurant. The waitress was great. Whoever cooked my burger clearly does not care about the customer. Pure laziness. I know which cook to look out for the next time I go. If he’s working I will not be eating.
