The service is very friendly and makes you feel like you are part of a community. The food is delicious and they have tasty local brews on tap. People also claim the the restaurant is haunted.. but I’ve been several times and haven’t had any spooky experiences (unfortunately)!

Jessica is the best!! A real pleasure! And the food is insane yummm! Broccoli chicken Zitti the lamb chops the drinks the bread. Patrick is the house Manager very nice guy. A must if you’re in Windham Nh. You wont be disappointed.

To start, our server Ally was amazing! She made us feel welcome and was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Ask for her if you want a special evening. Moving on to our food, escargot was the best we've had outside of France. A perfect Caesar salad and the Nantucket Pie was amazing. This dining experience exceeded all our expectations and we will absolutely be back. 10 stars!

We just had my sister-in-law's baby shower here and it was PERFECT!!! The upstairs had everything we could want/need for the event (multiple rooms, helpful tools for decorating, a bathroom, full bar). The staff was super helpful and friendly, and food served was delicious. I've also been for lunch and it was amazing!

This local favorite continues to impress under the new ownership. The food is always amazing with so many different options, specials, soups and delicious homemade bread. The drinks are generous and spot on! The staff are so welcoming and accommodating you truly feel at home. We love the option for casual bar dining or the more private dining room. Highly recommend if you haven't been. They also offer some convenient family meals to go that are sure to please!

We had our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding here with 40 people on 11/22 and it was wonderful - the food was great and all of the guests said that they enjoyed it! The atmosphere was relaxed and we enjoyed the live music! Thank you for accommodating us!

I have not been to the Windham Restaurant in many years. Went last night to have dinner and play music bingo. The bartender in the speakeasy lounge made our night so enjoyable. She was friendly, pleasant, lovely to chat with, and her personality was outstanding. Food was good. I got an autumn salad and added grilled shrimp. The meal was fresh with lots of flavor. My friend got a pasta dish with chicken, broccoli & ziti. Severing size was large. We both took food home. I would definitely revisit again.

The Windham Restaurant has created a great bar and lounge upstairs! We went on a Thursday and listened live music and enjoyed the crowd. Our bartender, Jill, was great and so nice. Great place to hang and check out!

We were there as a large group on a Saturday night in January 2025. There were 8 of us with one who was disabled. When I made the reservation with the manager ahead of time over text msg, s/he originally asked about us going upstairs. They were more than happy to accommodate putting us downstairs because we had someone who couldn't do stairs like that. The food and drinks were terrific, but more importantly the service was exceptional! They were attentive and interactive with us; even the owner ended up coming out to greet us (FOMO since we were having so much fun with the waitstaff). We all had a fabulous time, especially Bill! 😂 We would definitely go back in an instant. Thank you so much!

Tonight I attended the Mystery Murder Dinner with my sister and cousin. I have to say that it was a wonderful night, great atmosphere and food. I have a citrus allergy and forgot to mention this to staff when booking the event. I have never been treated so kindly and with privacy about my allergy. After speaking with the staff, she came back to me told me what food I could eat then had the kitchen make me a pasta dish with no lemon. I am so thankful to the wonderful staff to understanding allergies and making me feel comfortable.

We had a rehearsal dinner upstairs for my son and his soon to be bride. I have never received so many compliments for making a good choice in my life! The food was excellent, the drinks came quickly when you asked for one, the staff were amazing. I highly recommend that room and it’s outdoor deck for your next gathering. We about 36 guests +/-

My wife and I celebrating a significant week for us! We went to the Windham Restaurant!! Had the absolute BEST bacon wrapped filet mignon! Best EVER!!! Also, had the most incredible shot called "50 Shades of Grape"!!! Sahal, Karolyn and Nick, you have exceeded all expectations and have made our celebratory week something special!!!

This place is a true gem! I have had the honor of performing solo-acoustic sets here a number of times, and I can't say enough great things about the Windham. The owners are two of the best people I have had the pleasure of meeting, and that absolutely reflects their staff and their restaurant. The staff is incredibly kind, and welcoming, and they all seem so happy to be there. The overall vibe of the place really needs to be experienced to fully grasp the comfort and feel of dining here, or even just hanging out at the bar. The food is exquisite, btw. Be sure and try their carrot cake for dessert! You can thank me later 😉 I highly recommend the Windham Restaurant to anyone seeking an amazing dining experience, or just a great night out with friends and family.

Best steak I have had in a very long time! Well worth it.

The restaurant is amazing. I had the shrimp scampi and it was the best I have ever had! Absolutely amazing food and amazing atmosphere!

The food here is excellent, no surprise that it's always busy. The service is great too.

You can't go wrong at Windham Restaurant. I highly recommend a visit here for food and cocktails. You will love it.

We dined at the Windham and sat at the bar. Greeted promptly by Patrick the Bartender who was very helpful, even let me try my dirty martini to make sure it was to my liking. He was attentive, friendly, gave us suggestions for dinner. We both had great meals, took home half of mine as large portions. Drinks were excellent and the vibe was fun with a local feel. Looking forward to returning soon for some live music upstairs .

What an amazing place!! The food was outstanding, every single thing on the menu sounded so good it literally took us too long to order our food, our incredibly patient & thoroughly awesome server Kristine helped us make choices and lol, Thank God she did!! Oh man I need to come back here 20 more times because holy smokes everything looked and smelled so friggin good my head was on a swivel!! The place was packed so we ate in the new Speakeasy upstairs, but it was so cool, live music and fast friendly service! Prices for this type of food was more than reasonable. I am in love with this place ❤️

Tasty and festive fun at Windham Restaurant. Food was so delicious, No stress ordering drinks with Bartender "Nick". He is an expert in mixology! Furthermore the upstairs has entertainment with another bar and lounge area to sit. The renovations to the restaurant are modern vintage. Love it!

The Windham Restaurant is great every single time. Nick is an exceptional bartender—funny, welcoming, and his drinks are always fantastic. The food never disappoints, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Patrick is an absolute gem of a waiter—always attentive, upbeat, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Lovely staff, the food is delicious, lunch time is quieter. Dinner is busier and therefore talking can get loud. I have really enjoyed each time I have gone.

Old Inn has great food and drinks. The restaurant can get very loud on Saturday nights. Many great interesting dishes like ginger duck, and baked brie. Surf and turf with lamb chops and shrimp.

Love the grilled romaine and tuna appetizer.. entree is also not bad, we got swordfish and duck dish.

My experience Sunday at the Windham was great. The bartenders that they have are very funny and knowledgeable, one is a young girl I forgot her name but she was great and very attractive and the older gentleman Nick, is a riot!! I will definitely be back multiple times just to talk to them. The food that I saw going out looks amazing, I went in for a glass of wine after work and had the tiramisu which was perfect nightcap.

We were there for a party upstairs in the bar area. Very quaint. I can't comment on their food, we only had appetizers, which were ok. We didn't really interact with the staff, but we could see they were very attentive to cleaning up and replenishing appetizers as the platters emptied.

The food was good and service by Ava was excellent. However, The parking is awful. There are no handicap slots . The spaces need to be painted so you can actually see where to park.

Food was great... I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. I expected the usual restaurant 3 to 4 pieces of chicken. I was surprised by how much chicken came with my salad, it was about triple the "usual restaurant chicken". Staff was very attentive... A+ And the owner was walking around table to table asking if everybody was enjoying their meal. The prices aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for. Would recommend

I rarely give 3 / 5 stars, however: The Windham Restaurant fits squarely in the "Its Okay" category for me. The Beef Empanada Appetizer: Honestly, dont order this. It is not paired with a sauce, and is kind of pathetic. The Swordfish... is okay. The spinach and rice pairing falls flat. The dish just feels like it could use a drizzle, or a splash of flavor. The Chicken Parm: Its decent. Generous portion. Its one of the stronger menu items. I liked the crispyness of the breading. The sauce is decent. If I were you - Id order this. The Lava Cake: Again, its... okay. Its bitter. Its... fine. This restaurant is very popular. And I would say its... fine? Its okay? If you like Wyndham Restaurant, I wouldnt make fun of you. But Im not sure if Id come back.

First time visiting. Service was decent and fairly quick. However, I ordered the steak and let's just say, the plating of this might look decent, the taste of the steak....not so much. I don't know if they just forgot to add literally anything to it when cooking, but it was not good at all. I would not recommend getting the steak here. For $30+ atleast throw some garlic butter and some seasoning on that steak.

Very average. I got the duck and the wife got the Surf and turf. My duck was pretty good. The sauce was a bit too sweet but good. Both my mashed potatoes and broccoli were cold and bland. The surf and turf was overcooked and again the sides were cold. Waitress was very nice and a cool atmosphere

We're to start... We made a reservation for a Valentine's Day ( A very busy day for them) and we totally understand. we had a late dinner reservation, we walk in and the hostess is not there which is fine. When she arrives she doesn't even look at us she looks down at the tablet for a few minutes no knowledgement as we're standing there she glances up and to me rudely said I'll be right with you. No Hi how are you, thanks for coming in sorry we're a little busy I'll be right with you would have been a lot better than just saying be right with you. So we waited about maybe 5 minutes not too long and she brought us upstairs to a very crowded and congested room which was understandable because they were busy. as I used the women's restroom I realized there was other tables that we could have been seated at which was confusing but still okay with the table. Our server Austin was awesome none of this was his fault because he's only the server. We ordered drinks and they took about 35 to 40 minutes to arrive we were given waters our appetizer bacon-wrapped scallops arrived on time they were delicious still no drinks. So we decided to order a salad still waiting for our drinks salad came and finally like I said 35 to 40 minutes later our first drink came. A little annoyed but still okay with it our server was on top of things and letting us know that they were coming and they were backed up and waiting on glassware. Just saying on Valentine's Day you should be super prepared and have extra glassware etc so your guests aren't waiting that long for beverage. Finally we ordered dinner which came out pretty quickly we share chicken piccata and in my opinion it was the worst I've ever had way too lemony too much lemon on it I couldn't even eat it, it was just awful. I wanted to tell the server about how I didn't really care for the food but he'd already been dealing with so much I just wanted to go downstairs and possibly talk to the hosts to talk to a manager so we pack up all our things we pay our tab we head downstairs and I was discussing with my fiance if we should sit and have a drink and that way I could talk to somebody about our experience tonight and as we were making our way down the stairs there was that lovely hostess again telling us to have a good night and see you later as she had a cocktail in her hand. there were multiple people sitting at the bar having a cocktail I felt I'm unwelcomed at that point. I didn't want to stay anymore and I said all right let's go. To top it off we ordered a dessert to go we ordered cheesecake with strawberries and sauce when we got home to enjoy our cheesecake opened it up to find that they didn't put the strawberries or the sauce on the side of the cheesecake it was all over the cheesecake and the cheesecake was now ruined because we drove a 35 minutes home sitting in sauce I wanted to cry. So upset with our experience here I hope that the Windham House can make it up to us.

I have been to Windham Restaurant several times with no issues ( maybe slow service) but last night was the worst. The pasta looked like leftover, overcooked cut up pasta. When I complained to the waitress she said maybe you need more sauce then she walked away. The pasta was so bad! When she finally returned to our table I asked if it was possible to get a small bowl of penne which she brought a short time later. No comp for the disgusting pasta No apology No how can we make this right? No offer of anything after I showed her the pasta was like paste. Very disappointed They have seem to gone downhill a bit with their meals. As a note I’ve ordered this same chicken piccata and not had this problem

I planned for a upscale dining experience and was disappointed. The food was tasty but poorly presented. Our server was friendly however table was not attended well including leaving a cold cup of tea from when we sat down for the entire meal. The server at the adjacent table was very loud including a long apology and an insult including calling the owner an idiot and referred to him as his Dad. Who I assumed is the owner wore jeans and at-shirt seating tables. I'm sorry but this is far from a fine dining experience.i will not recommend or be returning I was very disappointed and consider it pub style not fine dining . Reviews I read don't match my experience.

The staff were friendly. Our waiter was nice but wasn’t very professional. Food was disappointing. Was expecting better quality for the price. Tasted cheaply made and had no flavor. The portions were large which is good. Restaurant was cold so I had to eat with my coat on. It was very loud and jam packed. Had higher expectations given the reviews and high pricing.

I would give 0 stars if I could. We’ve been wanting to check out this restaurant but, it’s pretty telling when you leave a restaurant before even ordering a drink. Aside from the friendly young hostess, we felt completely invisible. The bartender ignored us while promptly greeting and serving guests who were seated after us. No acknowledgment, no greeting — just menus dropped on the table. After waiting in a not-at-all busy restaurant, we decided our time was better spent elsewhere. When we explained why we were leaving, the response was a quick apology with no effort to fix the situation. Service like this makes it easy to decide not to come back.
