We arrived just as they were about to close, and they still served us very well. The appetizers were freshly cooked on the griddle, and the empanadas were also well-prepared and a good size. The green salsa was delicious and very spicy, and the best part was the natural guava juice.

Es un establecimiento ubicado muy cerca de la Av Xalapa y cerca de Plaza Museo, su personal es muy amable y atento, te sirven rápido y también te hacen sugerencias del día o de la carta, sin caer en el hostigamiento lo que permite elegir satisfactoriamente los productos que se desea consumir. Me gustó el menú del día, en opinión del personal y lo que escuché de algunos comensales, el pozole es una delicia, de momento solo acepta pago en efectivo, no transferencias no tarjeta electrónica

La pancita es muy rica y no está grasosa, elsabor es muy bueno y casero, se recomienda acompañar con antojitos como empanadas y tacos dorados también tienen un rico sabor casero

La comida tiene un buen sabor, solo que la última vez que fuimos no tenían tres cosas que habíamos pedido y estaban en el menú, pero si lo recomiendo, más loa fines de semana de caldos, panzas y pozoles.

The food is delicious, and the place is spacious; however, you have to wait in line to get in. If you go after 3 pm, it's unlikely they'll have all the stews, but they almost always have pozole and very tasty beef tripe. The restaurant doesn't have parking, but there's almost always street parking nearby, and the service is excellent; the waiters are always very attentive to your needs. They've been ignoring this offer on their menu for over a month, so I brought my own juice today. Then, they decided to charge me a corkage fee for bringing a juice they offer on their menu without having it. Obviously, I refused to pay the corkage, considering this a double insult, so I politely asked for takeout, which they gave me, and I asked for the bill, paid, and left. La fama con la que se hizo de nombre, quedo muños años atrás, el servicio es ineficaz, por no decir incapaz de agradar en algún sentido al comenzál, prepara un te de paciencia si quieres perder 1 hora de tu vida, a cambio de 1 platillo regular. Acomoda bien el nombre de ÉL TEMPLO DEL SABOR, sobre todo si vas a rogar por ser atendido. La panzita, regular y pellejuda. El pozole, pésimo. Lo demás, es a la carta, por lo que no lo recomiendo.

I went to eat, sat down, and the staff were in the kitchen just watching me sit at the table. They didn't even bother to take my order. After almost 20 minutes, I had to go and talk to them. They finally took my order, brought me a Coke, and then another 40 minutes without bringing anything else. There were hardly any other customers, just three other tables besides mine. I got up, annoyed, paid for the Coke, and left. I'm never coming back...

The food is edible but nothing spectacular, although for the price it's not surprising. The place has a leak, so I didn't complain because I just walked to one side and it was a godsend. I ordered a drink, and besides them forgetting when I had to ask for it again, they told me they were out. But what really ruined everything was that the menu is on fuchsia canvas with black letters stuck to the wall, which isn't legible for everyone. When we asked for a printed menu, the only solution they gave was "get up and take a picture of the canvas." Honestly, I'm not dying to go back. Maybe if I'm hungry one day and have no other option, I'll end up eating there again.
