Excellent location, with a parking lot next door. Everyone is very friendly, and the food is delicious. If you bring your pet, they're very welcome and pampered. The food is tasty and the portions are large. The prices are affordable and fair. It's a very pleasant place. We'll definitely return.

Chulo is a place I've held dear to my heart for a long time! I used to be a huge fan of their Sunday waffle buffet and Tuesday 2-for-1 waffles! I think they still make them, but I used to enjoy them even more when I was a student. 🫶🏼 My favorite is the red velvet. I've always liked their matcha because it's already a little sweet by default, but it still has that typical pasty flavor that some people don't like (but I do, haha). I used to order a red velvet drink a lot, which I hope still exists, although I haven't ordered it. They just released some new waffles. I highly recommend the Dubai pistachio. It comes with puffed corn and you can taste the pistachio flavor perfectly! It's delicious.

Super delicious!! My husband and I wanted pancakes for dinner and we found this place. He ordered the traditional pancakes and I ordered something I normally would never think to get but I saw another person order it so I was intrigued. They were mac and cheese waffles and totally worth it! We are 100% definitely coming back!!!

I ordered arrachera steak and it was burnt. You constantly see the waiters eating before you even order, and then they bring the food to the table. I understand everyone has to eat, but it's unhygienic and unprofessional. One thing I do like is that they serve very quickly and are friendly.

The place is beautiful, with different viewing options. Regarding food, it also offers breakfast options if you go early, as well as lunch dishes. The food is delicious, with a variety of flavors and textures. The place is friendly to your puppies; you can come and spend time with them in the space, sharing.

I went to Chulo Suc Avila Camacho, which is super central, and the food was delicious. The breakfast packages they have, which include coffee and bread, wow. I recommend the one that comes with chilaquiles (handmade tortillas) and the Belgian-style waffles. The dough is also delicious. Yes, I went on the weekend, it wasn't that busy, but I imagine they had delivery orders, and it took them a long time to serve us and bring us the food. Could you improve that?

I went on Sunday with my family and ordered the waffle buffet ($150), which included a drink and several appetizers (nuggets, sincronizadas, molletes, fruit, and chilaquiles) in addition to the waffles (sweet and savory). The food is delicious, and the place is even more so; it's clean and pleasant. The only drawback is that it takes a long time to serve the food, but it's understandable because everything is prepared fresh. My son ordered the a la carte food, and it was delicious and had good portions. The prices are affordable.

The place is very pretty; I like it more than the one downtown. It's all very nice for photos. The food is good, but the food in Xalapa is good, so I think it's fair to say there are places with even better food. So keep in mind that you're coming for the ambiance as well. ☺️ The service is slow. Sure, they cook to order, but it's really, really slow. We ordered French bread from the start, and it took them over an hour and a half to bring it. 😬

Nice ambiance but the waffles we ordered, while beautifully presented, were not very good. We had the Black Waffle and Powers Waffle but both were served barely warm - definitely not freshly made but rather reheated from the fridge. They also used frozen fruit that "melted". Definitely not what I expected for the price. The red velvet coco latter was drinkable but very milky. Disappointing experience.

Chulo Café es un lugar muy lindo y cuando llegas te reciben muy amablemente. Pero resulta que los alimentos pueden pedirse solamente como paquetes y si tienes restricciones de alimentos es un problema porque cuando ya te atienden los meseros no te ponen mucha atención. No sé si es política del negocio o los meseros carecen de sentido común, pero al quitar un montón de cosas de mi platillo (carne y lácteos) no es posible sustituirlos por nada más (como aguacate) sin que te quieran cobrar extra, además de que es muy difícil hacerle entender al mesero que no quieres algo. Al final mi platillo terminó siendo algo muy sencillo, pequeño, pobre, CARO y no precisamente de buen sabor. Los frijoles que sirven parecían de broma y estaban malísimos (foto). Y la limonada sabía a limón rancio. Tuve que desayunar bien en otro lugar.
