Opiniones de Kytelers Inn Zaragoza
Service was great! We didn’t wait long for our food! Burger was delicious 10/10 and fish and chips was 6-7/10. They are clild friendly and they very accommodating. They have a huge space for dinning and drinking and check their website on the days for music night. It has an enchanting story behind the place and I’ll let you discover it when you visit here 😉 I’ll recommend this place when you visit Kilkenny!
I had one of the best fish and chips I've ever eaten! The fish in particular was absolutely delicious: delicate, flavorful, and perfectly fried, not greasy or heavy at all. The chips didn't match the quality of the fish, but they were still very good. The tartar sauce on the side was also excellent, and the mushy peas were a nice touch. The atmosphere is pleasant and full of character, capturing the true spirit of an Irish pub, yet it was calm and relaxed at lunchtime when I visited. It also seemed to attract local Irish customers, not just tourists. The staff were friendly. In total, I paid €44.80 for two fish and chips, one Coca-Cola, and one Sprite.
Had a fantastic experience at Kyteler’s Inn in Kilkenny. The atmosphere is amazing — full of history, character, and great energy, especially with live music. The food and drinks were spot on and really added to the whole experience. A special shoutout to our waiter Aaron, who was absolutely brilliant. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from start to finish. His service genuinely made the night even better. Would highly recommend Kyteler’s Inn to anyone visiting Kilkenny — we’ll definitely be back!

El sitio es precioso
Genial...
Fish and chips muy bueno. Buen precio. Personal majo.
Had a really lovely evening here. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for both food and drinks, welcoming, and great vibes all around. The bartenders and the floor staff were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout the night. A special mention to Tristan, who truly made the evening so special. He was funny, personable, and genuinely helpful, making us feel completely looked after from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this place
Was in here for food a few days back with my son and it was very pleasant. We were served by Aaron who did an incredible job considering my son’s dietary restrictions & made sure we were well taken care of throughout our time here! Food was fantastic and so was the atmosphere! Thumbs up from me.
Had a brilliant night in Kyteler’s Inn! The atmosphere is unreal — proper Kilkenny vibe with great music, loads of character, and a really lively crowd. The staff were friendly and fast even when it was busy, and the drinks were spot on. Big shoutout to Tristan behind the bar — absolute legend. Super sound, great craic, and kept everything running smoothly. Made the night even better. Would 100% recommend if you’re in Kilkenny!
Went to this pub for lunch and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is great and full of history, and the staff were really welcoming. Aaron, in particular, was really friendly and made sure we were looked after. The food and drinks were great, and I’ll definitely be back!
Great atmosphere and full of character, Kyteler’s Inn is a must-visit in Kilkenny. Lovely traditional setting, tasty pub food, and a real buzz, especially with live music in the evenings. Special mention to Tristan behind the bar - friendly, welcoming, and makes the experience even better. Would definitely return.
Definitely a place to visit if you are in Kilkenny!! Good atmosphere good food and good music especially on Sundays in the courtyard. Staff are really friendly. Special shout out to Peter the barman he could not do enough for us. We will definitely be back !
I recently visited Kytlers with my young family ( two adults 4 children) from the moment we arrived the atmosphere was welcoming , lovely and full of character, the staff member Peter was friendly, attentive and incredibly accommodating, especially considering we were a big group. The food was excellent, generous portions, and the kids loved their meals, and were plenty of great options. The historic charm of the building added something special to the experience Overall Kytlers inn offered great food, warm hospitality and a enjoyable family dining experience. 5 star could not be happier
Our most recent visit we stopped by Kyteler’s for a lunch, a dinner and whiskey tasting. We were a large group of 10 and they were very accommodating each time we came in. The food was amazing (some of the best our whole trip) and service was friendly and efficient. We even had the pleasure of live music during the whiskey tasting and JD made us feel like VIP guests. We can't wait to come back and try some of their new whiskey!
We went on Halloween night to enjoy a meal and try the famous Kilkenny beer in the actual town. We also appreciate the quiet and efficient staff and the live music starting around 6 pm. Our advice is to go between 5 to 6.30 pm if you want a table. Also the ambiance is really fitting for a Halloween outing between adults, considering the backstory of the place. It is definitely worth it’s reputation.
Stopped in for lunch on a day trip to Kilkenny. As we only had a couple of hours to spend in Town we really appreciated the quick service. They had a couple of beers that were only available at the Inn and it was very good. The toastie was amazing. The atmosphere was so awesome. We visited in October so it was decorated for Halloween which made it even more fun. Would highly recommend.
Went here for lunch with husband and son. Had a good kids menu and lots of different options for food. It was very busy so you can tell it's very popular. On top of the typical "haunted" style decorations, they had extra halloween decor which my son loved. service was polite but curt, food came quickly and was pretty good (not the best pub food we've had in Ireland). But the goat cheese tartlet was delicious! Worth it for the overall ambience and experience.
A huge thank you to JD Flynn and Kytelers Inn for a fantastic Irish coffee making class today! Best Irish coffee we’ve ever had! JD is a great storyteller, and not only did we enjoy the Irish coffee making class, but we were also given an underground cavern tour, history and story of Dame Alice and Petronella which brought historic Kilkenny to life. We may have even seen a spirit or two 👻 🐈⬛. Don’t miss this amazing stop during your visit to Kilkenny. Book early, it’s sure to be a sellout.
Loved this place and the food is good. We ordered the fish & chips and the breaded fillet of chicken (I asked for the gravy on the side). The food was warm/hot and it was comforting. I think this the place you want to go if you want a tasty/quick meal and feel like you travelled through time. Loved the theme of the restaurant and the history. All the servers were so nice and our food was quick. They had the restaurant full and we felt like everything went smoothly. For the bill you have to get up and go to the side of the bar, that's where you'll pay.

Very nice old school spot. Went for the land stew but stayed for the fish and chips which were breaded in a different way to us but was really good.

Muy chulo!
Buenos platos, precio correcto
Buenas atención
Il locale è veramente bello!!!! Continuavo a girarmi intorno mentre eravamo seduti al tavolo. Il personale è stato gentile. Birra buona!
Se come bien y tienen buen servicio.
Bonito sitio, comida buena, recomendable.
There was a lot of hype around this bar as one of the absolute must see historical places in Kilkenny so in we popped. To be fair it was very nice with friendly staff, clean toilets and lots of tourists passing through, but l couldnt see what all the hype was about (maybe l missed something) We didnt have the food but it looked nice. It's in the historical center close to both the castle and the cathedral so conveniently located if you want to give it a try.
We visited Kytelers Inn during our trip to Kilkenny. The food was genuinely good, flavorful and well prepared, and the historic atmosphere added a nice touch to the experience. However, the service really let the visit down. It was incredibly difficult to get our waiter’s attention for drink refills or even to ask for the check. I understand that service in Europe tends to be more hands off, but this was by far the worst we experienced during our two weeks in Ireland. Unfortunately, it left a sour note on what could have been a great meal.

Pretty good. Entered at opening time (opening was later than quite a few other pubs in the area). Wasn’t able to confirm they were opening as common information sources weren’t updated for the unusual hours of May holiday and phone was unavailable for the period we waited hopefully outside. Almost filled with customers within 15 minutes of opening. Given the location and history, the food is reasonably priced (mains around €19). Starters were very good but mains we had were average at best. Table service staff very efficient and friendly. Draft beer (Smithwicks pale ale and Kilkenny smooth ale) quality suggests the taps could use a little maintenace as beer had some acidic odours and flavours. Toilets were okay, not gleaming. Not an unusual experience for a well trodden famous pub. Overall reasonably good experience and would return but not extraordinary (apart from the historic location, which is special).
Just popped in for a drink and some snacks. The chips (fries) were ok. Nothing special but the history of the pub and service were great!
Food was okay. We came here just before Christmas looking for a soup and sandwich. My partner asked what was on the Christmas panini and the waitress replied ‘you know just the normal stuff that’s on a Christmas sandwich’ which was a bit poor. My partner ordered that while I just ordered garlic bread and a soft drink. Neither of us ordered any alcohol. Our bill came to €40 which I thought was shocking, they didn’t even give us a proper bill with the price of everything, we were just told to go up to the bar to pay. My partner paid and I kept telling him to go back in and get the itemised receipt because I couldn’t understand how one panini, a starter and 2 soft drinks ended up being €40 but he didn’t want to bother which is our fault. Thought the service was decent at best, the waitresses were nice but have had better service. But the price, I feel robbed. We’re coming from Dublin so I can understand the city centre being more expensive but this was really basic food for extortionate price. The inside of the pub is nice, and I’m sure it would’ve been nice for dinner but our experience for a small Sunday lunch was mediocre.

Enjoy food drink and better customer service anywhere else in Kilkenny but don't waste your money and time in this dirty, cluttered pub that is run by the rudest unwelcoming staff in Ireland.
