I dream of our stay at the Hotel National still! We came in around 2016, and had a couple of wonderful nights stay. Amazing breakfast with blood orange juice, cappuccino and croissants. It was a perfect base to go visit the sights around Como from. We went to Bellagio, Como and more places from here. Amazing scenic roads and quiet place to stay at night. Loved it!

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. I would recommend the restaurant downstairs especially the Pasta alla Cinghiale. The food was delicious and the portions were big enough. The staff were very polite and were very helpful. They were also willing to accommodate some of our special needs. The only downside is that the hotel is located in a village called Zelbio, about 7 KM uphill from Nesso. The bus connecting the two places aren't very frequent or reliable. But apart from that, a wonderful place!

A hidden gem, when driving up the narrow roads I was wondering if we were gonna be stuck in the middle of nowhere. Then you turn off the road into this hidden gem, wonderful small community, with church lit up as a back drop. great service, great breakfast, really friendly staff. Big room. Great views and a big room.

We loved visiting Zelbio and stopped here for coffee. The cafe bar was very clean. The staff was professional and had great fast service.

My Experience In This Hotel Was Wonderful. It's Situated Up On The Mountains In The Small And Quite Village Of Zelbio. A Really Relaxing Place To Be It Felt Like Home. Warm Welcomed Very Well Looked After And Much More. We Felt Like We're Part Of The Family. Its A Family Run Business What Do You Want More...... The Are A Very Wonderful Family ( Keep It Up ;-) ) So Take My Advise A Give Them A Visit Or If You're In The Area Of Como For The Weekend Pop By For Dinner They Do Wood Oven Baked Pizza Apart From Other Tasty Dishes Like The Lavarello Dorato (Lake Fish) Or The Pizzoccheri ( Baked Pasta ) Wish You'll Enjoy It Like We Did (WE MISS YOU GUY AND HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON)

Nice area, good hotel restaurant. It’s in the mountains with nice surroundings and has a restaurant and free parking. Ok location if you want to go around the area. Be prepared for a narrow, steep and curvy road leading to the village from the lake. You do not want to arrive here in the dark evening...

A comfortable hotel in a beautiful location. The room was clean and pleasant. In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious pizza straight from the oven. The downsides were an uncomfortable mattress and an unclear extra charge of €15 for breakfast for a 2-year-old child.

Nice little hotel in the hills. Some rooms have a large terrace that has a beautiful view of the church and the opposite village. The prices are very reasonable, the restaurant in the hotel good. The rooms are quite small but tastefully decorated. The bathroom is awesome!

Very busy place its a bar, restaurant,hotel but very clean with new bathroom i think. The roads arent ideal but ye what u expect in italian mountains

We spotted this bar while walking around Zelbio doing some sight seeing. Always up for a coffee, we visited the bar. The owner/worker was very responsive and made us great coffees. The place was incredibly clean and ready for service. There were tables outside, as well as inside. Seems like there is parking on site and also across the street next to a nice kids play area inside a park. It was very quiet in Zelbio on our walking trip, on a lazy Monday afternoon in June that we didn't see too many people besides a few kids walking around. Update: Fantastic pizza night with friends. This restaurant was able to accommodate 18 people without any issues. The food and atmosphere was great. Well worth the visit.

The room was very hot, and there wasn’t a fan or airconditioning. The linnen on the bed was a bit old and not very comfortable. The bathroom was just redone and was clean and nice. The people were very friendly, the bar and restaurant downstairs were fabulous.
