Last Wednesday I had lunch at Marta's with friends. We've known each other for years, and it almost seemed pointless to leave reviews. Anyway, five stars for life. Very rustic place... classic trattoria, like the checkered tablecloths and the menus written on a tiny piece of paper... in winter always boiled meat and cassoulet... inside full of construction workers and the typical old men of the village! Friendly and kind staff... fixed price menu at 10 euros! Amazing!

If you're really hungry and looking for home-cooked food at a good price with exceptional staff, you've found the right place. This is a family-run inn. The menu changes daily and offers a variety of two or three first courses and two or three second courses with side dishes (fruit, dessert, and coffee are also available for those with a sweet tooth). A very informal place for a quick and very efficient lunch break. I highly recommend it.

The BEST of the BEST!! I eat at this restaurant practically every time I'm in the Abbiategrasso area for lunch. The cooking is homemade and authentic, it feels like eating at grandma's house! Everything is always good and easy to digest! Marta and Benito are synonymous with kindness and old-fashioned hospitality. :)

The only place left for retirees to play cards and drink wine. The building is old and in need of renovation...perhaps even closed. One wonders how such a place can operate under current laws. Its only advantage is that it's a meeting place for retirees where they can spend time together. The home-cooked food is delicious for everyone.
