Avis sur Café La Blanca Acayucan
Come here hungry. The Menu has everything for everyone. Great service and the food is so delicious.
Great tasting food, good prices and nice big portions. The hotcakes are really good.
My wife and I traveled to Mexico City recently and we stopped at this spot for breakfast one day. We were very please with everything we ordered. I especially enjoyed the seasonal Chiles En Nogadas. During my time here, I didn’t hear anyone speaking English, so you might want to be prepared to order your meal in Spanish. This is a cafe, which has more of a diner feel to it. Nothing fancy, but it is very clean…and the service is terrific.
Amazingly old styled place with the charm that has always existed. Very warm staff and the owners themselves are such jovial people. Food choices are awesome and delivery is quick. The place follows all the covid protocols. The bread and dip they serve in the beginning is awesome too! Go here with a big appetite. Sea food as well as other choices are good too!. A good choice of non+alcoholic beverages. It has a bunch of traditional mexican drinks that you definitely need to try. For instance the Horchata drink. Don't forget to try the traditional 'chiles en Nogada' can't get more traditional than that!
I tried this restaurant for the first time because I like to try new places. Food was good. I tried Caldo Tlalpeño and Bacalao. They were really good! Service was really poor. The waitress came the first time to take the order. A few minutes later brought the entrance but forgot to bring forks and spoons. She came back to the table a couple of times and, when I finished my food, she never came back to bring the bill, I had to go to cashier to pay. Bathrooms are not bad. The place looks good. Maybe it needs a touchup, but looks good.
Good service, great coffee, really nice fresh bread served with every dish. My only complaint is I thought the machaca lacked value—small with not very much meat. To be honest, it was the least-good machaca I’ve had in MX…I’ve even had better in USA. The rest of the menu looks like excellent value, should have just gone with one of the chilaquiles plates. Would still come back
Retro interior. Attentive service. Coffee is made in quite an old fashioned way (lots of milk!) but tastes good. Had pancakes which were cooked fresh, tasted great and came in a large portion. Looses a star as a little on the expensive side. One of the few places in the centre which opens before 8am so great if you are jet-lagged and looking for a place to refuel.
The service was bad from the start. We were told to sit on a dirty table. When i asked the girl to clean it, she left it almost as dirty as before she tried to wipe it. We ordered bread and the waiter brought without plates. I ordered the green juice and got orange instead. The coffee was some of the worst coffee I’ve had in my entire life and i drink coffee everyday. My tamales were alright but my mom makes better ones.
If you wanna try some different Mexican dishes and don't care about the decoration, interior and don't want to spend too much money. This is the place to be. They could have called it "la cantina" be…

Traditional cafe. Interesting decor. Food and service no so good. The service is slow and disorganized. The tamales oaxaquenos were so dry that seems to be just defrosted in the microwave. Chilaquiles were ok. Nothing special. Expensive compared to other options in the area. Not coming back. Not worth the wait.
The paella was the worst in the city. Service and people ok.
