Do not be intimidated by the location. Climb the stairs and you will not be disappointed by the restaurant's two friendly owners and their homemade food. The fish filet entree with fried garlic was delicious. Perfectly cooked, the tenderness of the fish was an excellent contrast to the crispness of the garlic.

They didn't even wait two minutes after I left before starting jokes about my way of speaking, my accent, etc. Now I don't even wait two minutes to recommend this place ONLY to Mexicans (and it's best if you don't dress abnormally, don't plan on refusing the gelatin, and also, being very friendly was a mistake). The food was better than average, but you'll leave wishing you'd never been... A single guy trying to practice his Spanish with dietary preferences, imagine that! 2.5 stars for being a good actor
