I'd heard so much about this place, and I can finally recommend it too. Circolo di Agrano is a little gem, located outside the more famous towns on Lake Orta, that deserves to be discovered and tried by everyone. The place is rustic yet welcoming, just as you'd expect from a classic club. The kitchen changes the menu frequently, so this positive note encourages you to always return to try something new. I found the quality quite high. I was delighted to find my beloved bagna cauda; the portion was truly generous and the main dish delicious! Next, I had rice with Mottarone toma and hazelnut pesto; the sauce was exceptional, but I just found the rice a little too al dente. My friend's wild boar leg was also good. Homemade tiramisu was enormous and with a divine mascarpone cream. The service was young and friendly. Very competitive prices.

The service is too slow for a lunch break (even though they have workers' lunch), sometimes the menu is good, sometimes it's inedible... The staff isn't always alert and competent, and it's not normal to take orders from tables that arrive later... a matter of respect. It's not normal to wait 30 minutes between courses even though they take the full order... Many compliments, however, to the Chinese girl (I don't mean to offend, but I don't know her name) who turns the tables quickly and efficiently. When she's not there, it's a tragedy. I've tried several times to give them a chance, but I've been disappointed too many times... I hope you'll improve.

We visited the restaurant several times and unfortunately had very different experiences. The first time, the food was okay, but the service was a bit slow. On our next visit, we arrived right when they opened – there weren't any tables yet, but we were still told there was no space. So we ordered takeout. At the agreed time, the pizza hadn't even been started, even though the restaurant was almost empty. The pizza was really delicious, but the service and how we were treated were very disappointing.
