I came for the lavender cocktail, I stayed for Gracie. Incredible bar tender and girl’s girl. I wish her every success because she deserves it. Great burger too. Cheers!
We had dinner at Pitchfork this past weekend and sat on their beautiful patio. The atmosphere both inside and out is lovely, inviting, and clean. My husband had the duck with mashed potatoes, and I had the pork chop with grits, which were both cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. We started with a charcuterie board, which was packed with delicious goodies and flavor combinations. The drinks were good and strong. Our waitress was knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. The prices are kinda high, but you get what you pay for. We will definitely be back!
Morgan is amazing! She has become a friend. Go see her and order espresso martini or the corner bloom. She makes the best martinis ever and is as sweet as the drinks are ❤️
Pitchfork is a restaurant my wife and I have been looking around NE Ohio for quite some time! Our server, Hannah, was personable and friendly and made our evening experience delightful. The atmosphere is second to none, with the perfect amount of lighting and a ton of greenery. Cocktails were prepared in a timely manner and were delicious. The Gris Gris Dip appetizer was extremely flavorful and served with a crisp focaccia. The walleye special was thickly breaded and served with a bold flavor of house made ranch seasoning. The Farmer’s Rail Burger was cooked to perfection and was complemented with fresh and plentiful condiments and add ons. Would highly recommend any time you are passing through the Fairlawn/Ghent area!
We had the best experience! We found them on TikTok and decided to go. The atmosphere was beautiful, clean and inviting. The food was absolutely amazing!! It was only 20 minutes away and we never knew! We definitely cannot wait to go back again. I'd get that giant wedge salad everyday of my life. My husband had the duck. Let's not forget the most delicious baked brie with blueberry and bacon!!! Wow!! I can see it becoming a regular for us and we never go out to eat!
Super cute place! Great food, the charcuterie board was amazing
My husband and I ate here with my in laws and we loved it! The food and ambiance were amazing. We came on a Wednesday evening so it wasn’t too crowded and we were able to park easily. They had a wonderful drink selection—my mother-in-law got the seasonal cocktail that was a blood orange martini and I got the Grapes of Eden. My husband got the Old Fashion. We got oysters and the broiled Brie as appetizers. My father-in-law loves the burger and my husband loved his steak and the rosemary truffle fries. My mother-in-law and I both got the Pappardelle Bourguignon. The serving size was huge! It was so delicious but we hardly made a dent. We got the Torta al Cioccoloto and the carrot cake. We loved it and will come again!
We sat at the bar downstairs in the kitchen. It was really cool to see the inner workings of the grills, cooks, kitchen staff if you are into those types of things. Our servers were amazingly friendly and our experience couldn't have been any better. The portions you receive are very well aligned with the cost. It was a fantastic experience.
Pitchfork wins on the full combo of atmosphere, service and unique food selection. It’s a great social vortex in a great hub. Great wine, beer selection, drinks, appetizers and more. You can come here for lunch, dinner or just drinks. If dinner on a weekend I highly recommend a reservation a day ahead of time. Yes they tack on a credit card fee, I’ve seen some people complain about this but I am 100% in support of it. It also means there is an advantage to pay in cash, so pay the bill and tip your server in cash for the best overall outcome and know the credit card service is there if you need it.
The perfect local date night dinner! Discover a crave-worthy menu of fire seared steaks, deluxe pasta dishes, delightful apps, and bountiful salads. Eden has the coolest drink menu book I’ve ever seen! Made from high quality leather and inlaid brass, it steals the show on the table. The cocktails are masterfully mixed and the wine list feels endless. Something here for everyone! Masoud and Jaime manage a great team of servers and staff that treat you like royalty. Highly recommend! (Pro tip: Don’t miss Pav’s in the basement to grab an ice cream after dinner!)
UPDATE: went again on 6/17/23 and enjoyed a fabulous steak! Half a seasonal salad for each of us. My son had the Philly cheesesteak (Farmer's Rail Brunty Farm's beef) & rosemary garlic fries which he said was the best he ever had. I had the Farmer's Rail Brunty Farm's 20oz bone in ribeye with mushroom demi glaze & grilled asparagus. It was definitely one of the best steaks I have ever had. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked and super fresh! Everything was absolutely FAN-TASTIC! Highly recommend!! Enjoyed the gorgeous patio on this beautiful night too! Excellent food! Lots of choices and even vegan and gluten-free options are available. Beautiful place inside, looking forward to spending some time on the very large deck in the summer and can't wait to see what their full menu brings!
Girls night here was a success! It’s a little confusing at first, because Eden Wine Bar and Pitchfork are marketed as separate businesses. It’s not until we arrived that we realized it was all one restaurant, with the kitchen at one end, self serve wine station at the other, and a bar in between. With that being said, you can basically choose how you want to approach your night. You can have the traditional seated/waited on experience, utilize the self service tasting experience, or both! All we had to eat was the large charcuterie board, but it was delicious. All of the cheese and meat paired well without any surprises! We tried one cocktail, but none of us are big fans of egg whites in drinks and this seemed like a pretty consistent factor on the menu. I do recommend a reservation! It was busy, but the servers were busting their behinds.
I've been to Pitchfork 3-4 times since my last review, and I'm still thoroughly impressed. The place remains a top choice for moderate upscale dining, offering a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. Our server, Nicole, was particularly outstanding, making our visit even more enjoyable. The staff here consistently provides a high level of service, which keeps me coming back. However, parking remains an issue, even a year later. Despite this, the overall experience is well worth the minor inconvenience. Highly recommend giving Pitchfork a try!
We love this place. We tried the filet mignon and it was great. Also they had a filet with Lebanese spices that was incredible. the wines that we tried were amazing. The service was good.
Wonderful experience at Pitchfork for date night tonight with my husband. The hummus and beef appetizer was excellent, as was the carrot cake dessert. Our entrees (steak and mashed potatoes for him, bourignon pasta for me) were very good and amply portioned and we both got boxes to go. The only hiccup we had with service was no silverware or napkins for a short period at the beginning and had to flag down our waiter to grab us some. The service staff seemed a little frazzled and I'm sure everyone is still getting the hang of it as a new restaurant, so no big deal. We'll definitely return!
If you have never been you have to try it out!! Their menu is not very big but there is something for everyone. Highly recommended the Filet, Fish, and Brussel Sprouts. Service was great, Easy parking, and overall great experience. Charcuterie boards looked amazing as well.
Everything was fabulous! I loved the watermelon salad and added on salmon. Service was phenomenal. On the patio was a beautiful setting 😍 This was last summer and will definitely be back again soon!
Stopped here one day for a drink and an appetizer. The bar was very busy but I snagged a seat and the sweet bartender Gracie checked in immediately. I got a pomegranate mule and the baked Brie. Both items were delicious and made very well! The service was incredible, Gracie was the icing on top to make the whole experience wonderful! She was friendly, attentive, and punctual.
Attentive waiter and quiet atmosphere. Comfy seating and delicious food. Crab Rangoon dip was undeniable. Duck breast was amazing. Will return 10/10
Such a great all-in-one place! The atmosphere of Pitchfork and service are awesome- makes you feel like you’re somewhere fun! Brie cheese appetizer is unreal. I thought the beef pasta dish was so-so, but my friends loved their salad and burger. Obviously ice cream at Pavs after dinner was the perfect ending.
Great location and charming atmosphere. Lunch was delicious and the Grapes of Eden made with Empress Gin was refreshing and well made. Amanda took great care of us. Will definitely be returning. Also looking forward to the outdoor balcony seating for the summer months!
The energy walking in is so warming and sophisticated. Service was AMAZING! Erik was so helpful and honest. My friend and I got the oysters and the kimchi grilled cheese and which was the BEST combo ever!! I appreciated the manager Masoud walking around to our table and checking in on our meal. 10/10 recommend this place for great service and food :)
Amazing experience now that is Gracie is finally back at the bar! My mom and I missed her so much. So attentive and so good at making whatever drink we ask her to make!!
1st time here. Great menu! Food was delicious!! I had the bread pudding frent toast. It was soooo good!! Others in our party had sandwiches or salads, also very good. Mixed drinks were made well Lovely patio. Will come back again!
Came here for a quick lunch, really good food and friendly staff. We sat outside and just had few appetizers, the raw bar stuff was fresh and presented well. Highly recommend especially during happy hours.
Since this restaurant switched over ownership form the original “Pitchfork” the menu food atmosphere and especially the service was phenomenal. Our server Tara was especially phenomenal. I haven’t had this good of an experience in a long time and would recommend this place to anyone.
Food was excellent, service wasn't the greatest but they were busy.. we split shrimp, hummus and both got salads. Large servings and super tasty!
An amazing place for fantastic food, upscale atmosphere, and exceptional staff. I frequent CP on the regular and have had nothing but wonderful experiences and great times with friends and while dining alone. The smash burger, lobster burger, bbq pork sandwich and wings (preference being the Nashville Hot flavor) are a few of my favs. While the quality is exceptional, the menu (same for lunch and dinner) can use more options (specials, perhaps?) which is why I gave the food 4 stars instead of 5 (that said, the weekend brunch menu DOES offer a few different and delectable options). The quality of the team is REALLY where CP shines. Abby, Marianne, Morgan, Ryan and Tiffany are attentive, friendly, and engaged behind the bar while Deb, Jen, Matt, Sara, and Tara provide exceptional, friendly service table side. The owner, Tom, and manager, Jim, are frequently present and quick with a handshake and “hello”. As an admitted, well-traveled foodie, I can say CP, along with the food and especially the staff, is a hidden gem and should NOT be missed!! Well done, TEAM CP, and THANK YOU!
Absolutely stunning! Perfect for a relaxing evening or date night. The wine selection is top-notch, and the charcuterie board was beautifully presented with a delicious mix of cheeses, cured meats, and thoughtful pairings. Elegant atmosphere, attentive service, and a place you’ll definitely want to come back to.
Really nice stop for lunch today. To tell you the truth, we were taken back by the small menu selections. The atmosphere is very nice...a wine bar feel. We sat out on the balcony. Again... very nice. The food came out quickly and fresh. It was..... very nice. Get it? It's a very nice place. Nothing outstanding or over and beyond what you'll get elsewhere, but they do things well and the food is good. The prices are maybe a bit high, but you can say that everywhere right now. I had the fish and chips ($25). Lake Erie Walleye with an herbal aoli. It was great, honestly. That walleye dish is an example of why lake erie walleye has such a great reputation. J got the corner smash burger ($19). A double patty cheeseburger with aged cheddar. It was very juicy. The cheese was great. Sauce was very good. A really, good burger. Fries were also pretty good. Coleslaw.... very, very light. The perfect coleslaw for a fish dinner. I'll be honest with you here. I don't like coleslaw. I've never eaten more than a small bite at one time in my life. This was the first coleslaw in my 50+ years that I actually ate and enjoyed the whole thing. Finished every bite. So there's that! Would I go back. Absolutely! We enjoyed it! Would I suggest it to an out of town friend looking for something great and different? Maybe not.
Really excellent dinner here on the deck. Oysters on a beautiful evening outside. The dishes ordered were delicious and the service was impeccable. The 3% credit card fee is being deducted from what would be a five star review. One wouldn't think it necessary in 2024 but next time I'll take the $350 in cash to avoid a disappointing surprise at the conclusion.
I personally do not feel that any place that has "bar" in the name should allow children at it. Trying to enjoy great food, and glass of wine in an adult setting was difficult with the four toddlers and 3 kids under 7 years old seated all over the patio. Service was a little bit slow but very friendly and accommodating. Went specifically for the filet mignon and ordered it, then was told they did not have it in stock. Disappointing for sure but the steak I did get was cooked perfectly and delicious, if too marbled for my taste which I feel was a waste of money. The swamp masquerading as a mini lake was off putting and frankly an eye sore when enjoying the beautiful patio, but over all the physical atmosphere was pleasing. (updated after response. Appreciate any company that is willing to take an honest review and address any concerns without belittling!)
I experienced this restaurant for the first time yesterday. Good food, decent service and a nice atmosphere. Some of entrees were pricey but I was shocked the gumbo special was only $22 for the full size portion. My only recommendation is the font on the menus is not too accommodating for the dark atmosphere of the restaurant. I don't have impaired vision but was forced to look up the menu on my phone and I saw many diners at other tables using the light on their cell phones.
The food was great..we had outside reservations it started to rain but we still enjoyed ourselves. The lady sever seem like she would rather be anywhere but there but our male sever was great he was so friendly. I had the duck and mash with green beans.
An enjoyable evening with great food. Would recommend eating outside if weather permits as it can be fairly noisy inside. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of plants, I can imagine it being a fun place to unwind during less busy times
Outdoor patio is super cute and has a nice vibe, only downfall is overlooking busy roads/noise. The food was fresh and tasty! Love that that the ice cream comes from Pavs Creamery (lower level). Can’t wait to come back at night!
House Mushroom Demi sauce was amazing! Has a strange vibe. It's dark (seems like it was supposed to be intimate), but they were playing early 2000s bops loud so I'm not sure what they are going for.
To start out I’ve been here a few times ordering several different things off the menu. Different occasions with friends, family or a fancy dinner date. And I can say from all of these experiences is that the staff are always accommodating and lovely to deal with. Their employees are top notch. I’ll start out with my first time there. I took my girlfriend for a fancy dinner date. We were dressed the part and order drinks, appetizers and dinner. The appetizers we ordered two things, the tuna tartar and the cocktail shrimp. The tartar was good nothing wrong with it, and the shrimp left a little to be desired. The first shrimp I had must have been around from the night before or something. I was very close to gagging and spitting it out. I found it to be kinda old and foul. But it was the only one outta the 4 we had. The rest were great. And on this date we had going, I ordered the shrimp roll, served cold with a special spicy creole dressing. I honestly don’t know how this bad boy made it on the menu at such a nice place. The sauce was pink and the bread was definitely older. This thing was a site to see. When i saw other people have this infront of them, they just picked the shrimp out and left the bread. It wasn’t just me. I would highly advise changing the shrimp roll or outright take it off the menu. It doesn’t reflect the other elegant offerings on the menu. Next visit I had the burger. And holy moly was it delicious! With the rosemary fries it was a killer. This burger was so good I came back the next week with my girlfriend to order that with her. I definitely understand that it’s a new restaurant and tweaking the new menu and new changes to make the experience better for your customers. Some changes need to be made however this place has a great atmosphere in or outside. Be sure to make a reservation if you wanna go there for dinner on a weekend cause they will be packed! We will continue to come here and enjoy a more elegant dinner for many years to come :)
They are cutting back on sizes. Ordered the romaine salad many times before and this last time it was 1/2 to 1/4 the size. Same price, not even organic and it's salad! Overpriced, nice place. Won't order salad again.
Excellent food and service. The location is nice, parking good. The variety on the menu was really fun and mostly common food but done to another level. Only issue is the noise, close to unbearable honestly. It is a bar mainly, with nice seating…but bar noise.
So friend and I went for dinner without reservations and ended up at the bar. The service was very good, although they have her a different wine than she ordered. Well we weren't terribly impressed with our dishes. I had the burger, which was good but nothing special. And the fries were those types that are battered dipped and/or double fried. So they have an extra puffy crispy outside. Again taste nothing special. My friend had halibut with cold noodles, and while the halibut was very good the noodles were very spicy and at the same time bland. We did see a gnocchi dish the person next to us had and that looked fantastic.
Really, I want to give two stars, but it wasn't quite that bad, but just barely so. The problem here is the prices in relation to the quality of the food. The presentation was fine, it's the flavors that are just falling short of the mark and, for me, most of all the temperature of the food. Tepid is the word that comes to mind with everything. It all seemed plated cold and slightly warmed to me. My wife says her curry dish was a lot like curry dishes she had made at home in taste, her couscous was refrigerator cold. Maybe that's what they were going for, but it didn't go over well. The best things on the table were the drinks. The grilled carrots weren't even hot or warm again tepid. The grilled broccoli was dry and tough and a bit over charred. The dessert I got was the seasonal baked apples at $16, and the best thing on the plate was the custard. The apples were blah. I cannot in a good conscience give this place a four- or five-star rating, and the three-star rating is a stretch. But I think the two might be a bit harsh. So, a three it is. The location (building) is attractive. I didn't make it to the restroom so I cannot speak on its appearance or cleanliness level. The main dining area is quite nice and inviting, clean and very nicely decorated. The service was good, the manager came over and spoke, I couldn't bring myself to be honest about the food with him though. The waitress was helpful, attentive, and prompt. They are just about there except for in the most major of areas given their area of service, THE FOOD. For a cost of just shy of $300 for two with tip (which is a whole different conversation, I won't get into here) again I cannot recommend this establishment. I first saw this business on Instagram.
Update! I spoke with the assistant manager, and she was incredibly kind, helping to talk through these issues and wanting to make improvements. They will consider updating the menu and educating the staff for future customers. Maybe try it out :) I was really looking forward to dining here, but how they handled food allergies was super disappointing. Their menu has a number of GF items - but there is no dedicated fryer so many of the marked items are NOT safe. The salad is the only side that was gluten and dairy free (and that was with removing lots of toppings). There was no dressing that was safe either. I told the waitress multiple times that I can’t have dairy or gluten. The burger and GF bun was okay, but the house sauce also had dairy so it was very plain. Would not recommend for friends with severe food restrictions, as there are few options and the menu does not accurately describe them. (Super expensive, too)
Overall - I'm not impressed. This restaurant has good potential -- and they just opened, so I'm certain there are some "growing pains" but the food and service do not meet the cost. I will try it again after they have had some time to work out the inefficiencies. Cleanliness - was satisfactory. They appeared understaffed and so the table next to my party (like butt up literally next to my party) remained unclean until we were well into our dinner. Not a huge issue but again the prices were of a high end restaurant so I expect the service to match. Service - our waitress and her assisting waiter were very nice. The waiter in particular seemed genuine and efficient but the lead waitress was also nice. They were clearly over worked and as a result were slow in service and inattentive. Again the waiter (maybe was in training) came to the table more frequently. Food - the food was average at best. My entre was missing an ingredient and it was served to me afterward in a separate dish. Again, that's 'new restaurant' stuff and forgivable but upsetting considering the price. The appetizer of Ahi Tuna and Avacado lacked flavor. The salmon was well-cooked but over seasoned. If I was at BJs Brewhouse or Applebys I wouldn't think of it BUT when menu items cost $38 and more, I have a higher expectation. I did not want to try the dessert after my experience with the appetizer and entre. Drink - awesome wine selection and there's a full bar. This part of Pitchfork looked great and seemed to run smoothly. Ambience - everything is trendy and well coordinated. It appears like the Twisted Olive, but has a unique flare. There is outdoor dining. The tables are small -- great for intimate conversation BUT there's a metal ceiling and loud atmosphere so a person has to shout to their guests even with a small table. The plates are enormous and did not fit on the table. Despite the large plates, the serving portions were small and decorative like an upscale restaurant. I found it confusing whether or not this place was an upscale restaurant or a gastro-pub or a wine bar with fancy food??? Some things need "straightening out" (full staffing, prices, definition of the theme, etc.) but there is good potential.
No longer Pitchfork, Corner Provisions under new management and new chef. Food and drinks were a bit overpriced and just so-so
I visited today for the first time. I was pleased with the food, but I wish I had a different server. Got a lavender gin cocktail containing egg white, which was supposed to have an airy, whipped texture. By the time it got to me, several minutes after being prepared, it was a deflated. Fish and chips and my friend's prosciutto brunch dish were delicious. After the entrees came, the server left us alone for at least 30 minutes while snow fell heavily outside and we wanted to leave. I had to ask for the host to track her down, and she never offered up an apology or acknowledgement of her neglect of our table. Disappointed with our first visit based on our server, but we may be back someday for good food.
My first time there. The atmosphere was pleasant, I enjoyed the fact that I could hear the other guests at my table without any issues. The waitress was attentive and sweet. Unfortunatly I was not impressed with my entree nor my drink. I had lemon chicken that was virtually tasteless. I also had a chocolate martini, I’m not sure how to describe it, I don’t think the right ingredients were used or possibly not available. I may return to try again, because of the positive factors. I’ll just order a different dinner and a different cocktail.
We used to frequent this restaurant often, it was one of our favorite local spots to have date night or bring out-of-town guests. Under its previous ownership, the menu was inventive, seasonal, and full of character. The dishes were vibrant, beautifully plated, and bursting with flavor. There was a clear passion behind the food, and the chef was rightfully credited for crafting a truly elevated dining experience. The hardback, rotating menu and separate drink list were thoughtful touches that made every visit feel special. Even the house plants they had were booming in the happy atmosphere! Since the recent change in ownership and management, the magic is gone. The once-creative menu has been reduced to a single piece of paper with a fairly generic selection (burgers, salads, and other basic fare). The food now lacks the depth, presentation, and taste that used to set this place apart. It feels like a completely different restaurant in all the wrong ways. I hope to see some of the original spirit return, but as it stands, it no longer feels worth the visit or price sadly.
Service was alright, dinner was almost okay, and atmosphere was awful. This place desperately needs sound deadening, it is like a gymnasium full of cackling children. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have left a review if that was it - standard subpar restaurant experience. Unfortunately when I got home and opened my leftovers (packed by the waiter) I picked up the naan bread to find a nasty bug underneath. This went from a restaurant I wouldn’t go back to, to a restaurant I warn everyone about
Very disappointing! 3 of 4 meals were returned or not eaten they were so bad. My salmon was blackened, burnt and dry. I simply told the restaurant to keep it as the entire table of food was disappointing for all. Chicken with couscous was cold and the naan bread burnt. The steak was tender, lacking flavor, two returns of broccolini side yielded each serving to be cold and rubbery. The pork chop had flavor but was overcooked. Adequately staffed but service was slow, 20 min+ to get a bottle of wine. The restaurant is loud, we couldn’t enjoy conversation at the table. The pricing is high but this is far from a fine dining kind of place, TV's, loud music, concrete floors, high open ceilings etc.. vibe is more casual not a $60 steak and $8 sides kind of place. Overall, our table 4 won’t be returning and we don’t recommend.
