So yummy! Definitely bring a second person to share with. I ordered the tostada salad bowl with chicken. The portion size was huge; I had leftovers. The food was definitely good and well-seasoned. The staff were all friendly, as well as the owner. I felt comfortable and taken care of. I will definitely be back for more! Check out the pictures on the wall by the restrooms as well. The captions are a hoot to read.

Wow, This place is good.This place has good service, Good food, polite staff, owner was very friendly and attentive to his customers, amazing experience. This place is very nice and clean. Great value for your food and money, I got the #10 burrito which came in three options with the meat you want and bean guacamole and sour cream. I got the beef and it was a lot of food. They sell beer too, My girl got the Taco and shredded beef taco. Huge portions. Loaded taco. Food tastes fresh. I just have nothing but good things to say as I felt positive vibes here. It's good food so expect to wait if it's busy. It's Worth it. A lot of locals eat here so it's no secret this is good eating. I loved it. I got so full. Awesome place. It's right next to Bank of America so you can't miss it. Self-serve Salsa Bar, Clean bathroom rooms. Close to Pacific Coast highway so if you are traveling this place is good to eat and good to dine in.

Staying at the beach for a conference and stumbled across Las Barcas, maybe more serendipitous than stumbled. From the moment I walked in the door, I knew this was not like my Mexican place back home. Every. Single. Thing was absolutely fantastic. The staff were wonderful and gave me an awesome recommendation for the protein in my burrito. I wish I could eat there every day. When I come back each year for my conference, Las Barcas will be my first stop. Thank you for the fantastic dinner.

Machaca burrito w green salsa is the best - only item I ever order...plentiful amount of stewed beef, with onions, bell peppers, cheese, egg...too good! Crunchy fish taco and Chile Relleno excellent. Deep fried tacos are delicious.

Las Barcas never disappoints, in the 90s my friends and I would call in our lunch orders from HS. Today whenever I come home to see the family we must come here. Las Barcas stacks there tacos high with meat, lettuce and cheese. Home run of a casual/dine out restaurant. Thank you Las Barcas team for always being friendly.

Very easy to find. Lots of good parking. Friendly, and helpful staff. The washrooms are very clean. They have a free salsa bar. The food is very good.

Excellent lunch! The sauce with the enchilada was fantastic and the beans were also delicious. The salsa were fresh and delicious too.

Family of 7 came here tonight based on a local recommendation. We all liked it! Fajitas, fish tacos, carnitas, etc. It was all good. Staff was friendly.

I’ve been going for 15 years unfortunately this is the end. The food is good and it’s always been a little on the pricey side, but worth it. The recent decision, the charge dollar for the small bag of chips that used to come with meals is a bridge too far. Hiring prices combined with cheesy money grab just doesn’t work. They done better by raising prices again by a small amount and starting this charging always been three bags of small chips with your meal. It doesn’t even make sense as there is still a salsa bar.

Was invited in Saturday October 4th to this place by my best friend bragging how good this Mexican place is. So I figured let's try it. They (friend s) oder first and a minute later I placed my order of a birriataco with rice and beans. My friends got their order, we sat outside to enjoy view of the airshow that they were having nearby. I patiently waited while my friend we're almost done with their food. I went inside to find out what was taking so long, a gentleman ask if my order was 975 and I said, "yes" he reply she is making it now. I said ok and walked out to say down. Minutes later the sam gentleman came with my order by now both my friends were done with their food. I annoyingly said to the guy, really? This is ridiculous to wait this long for just a taco. Which he reply it's only been 19mins. I said I place my order a minute after their order pointing out to the tray with the food plates on the table in front of me. He did not apologize for the delay or inconvenience. He made no comment that they were busy due to the airshow. He rudeness and attitude was uncalled for. Frankly, I will not recommend this place to my family members or friends. Their birriataco was tasteless and my friend's chicken quesadilla was nasty the chicken was dried and tasteless too. If I did not say anything to the guy that brought my food was because he was too busy talking on his cell phone a few feet from where I was sitting. What a bad experience. I should have rated this place a zero star!

I've been coming here for 20 years, and unfortunately the service and food has gone down. Ordered 3 plates in 2 separate orders, 1. a taco, rice and beans and 2. chicken quesadilla and the chicken in the quesadilla and taco was dry and tasteless. The other order was another birria taco plate with rice and beans and it took 19 mins to make and when we inquired, they said well it only 19 mins, never apologized or offered to make it right. Acted aloof. And it wasn't good. Find another mexican spot.

Food: 8/10 salsas were good and the burrito was a good size with decent amount of meat. I got the carne asada burrito Service: 1/10 it took ~35 mins to get my burrito for take out Price: 3/10 it costs over $16 for a standard carne asada burrito takeout including tax and no tip.
