*Updated from 2 star rating due to 5pm lounge atmosphere playing a football game unpleasantly loud and subpar service.* HAPPY HOUR, 5pm Don’t let my experience stop you from coming here. I just wanted to share mine and give a warning: if you are sensitive to noise or have sensory processing difficulties, the Happy Hour lounge may not be the place for you. There were many speakers blasting an out-of-state football game throughout the dimly lit cave with only 2 of the tiniest TVs I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. The TV-size to TV-volume ratio was extremely disproportionate, and this isn’t something that could be ignored since I was getting extremely overwhelmed and was not enjoying myself. The few other people in the room did not appear to be watching, so the thunderous cheers from the game and frequent advertisements were not matching the chill vibes that the lounge appeared set up for. Lots of conversation areas, even a couch which I liked, but talking was barely feasible, and that was disappointing. The pizzettas were tasty, and the other seating in the restaurant and on the patio looked light and airy which was a totally different vibe than the Happy Hour cave. The drinks were really just okay, somewhat inconsistent in quality and strength. Bartender looked like she hated herself and/or her job but it could have been a case of RBF. From a customer service standpoint, it was not a welcoming environment and I had to ask for water at the bar after being seated for 10 minutes. I’m not sure if I will be back unless it is to eat outside by the fire pit, but I will not participate in another 5pm Happy Hour, which was the appeal for me coming here in the first place. I walked here and nearly got hit by 2 cars while both entering and exiting the restaurant. Not their fault that there is construction, but still not fun. *Update from previous 2 star rating due to loud atmosphere in lounge and subpar service.* HAPPY HOUR, 9pm I am pleased to say I gave Honor another shot at the 9pm happy hour. Vibes were excellent in the lounge. It was very cozy with beautiful decorations and lovely Christmas music. The truffle fries were outstanding, but not on the happy hour menu. Ordered around 10pm and the kitchen had no problem making them quickly. Our server was very nice and we were greeted immediately and brought water. The only thing is I wish they would invest in a music subscription service without Ads because those are never pleasant and often are louder than the music itself. Jolly vibes, good drinks…late night happy hour is the way to go.

This place has a vibe. Just walking by makes you want to go inside. It's chic, eclectic, and homey all wrapped into one space. The food was good, but to be honest we only ordered apps. We ordered six appetizers. No disappointments on the food. However, the cocktails were a miss. The creations here didn't work for our palettes.

The vibe is very cool. It's pretty inside and outside. 1st time here and would come back. The service was great.

Came on a Monday night and noticed on the menu that they had a whole pig buffet on Monday night football nights. Unfortunately , not tonight. I decided to get the calamri and short ribs. The calamari was delicious. The short ribs was not what I expected. The beef was corned beef flavor. It was tender and fell apart but I was really hoping for the deep rich flavor of just the beef instead of eating corned beef.(-)

Cool place with excellent food, but on the night we visited they were very understaffed. The two folks working did their best, but it was taking them a while to make the rounds. The oysters were great and the crab deviled eggs were awesome. The prosciutto pizza and seared tuna bowls got excellent reviews.

The service was a bit slow considering the restaurant was nit busy. We waited a noticeably long amount of time before being greeted and shown to our table. Then, it took about 20 minutes for someone to take our drink orders. By that time we knew what we were getting so we ordered everything at once. Our food came out separately. So I waited for my companies food to arrive before I began to eat. It took about 5 additional minutes for their food to arrive. I ordered fried mushrooms, the gulf shrimp omelet, and the crab melt. All of the food was delicious! My guest had received a $35 gift card from work, however when the server tried to use it, the balance stated 0.00. He was nice enought to apply the discount in good faith. That was very nice of him and we left him with a nice tip for the gesture. The atmosphere is really nice; roll up glass garage doors, patio seating, and modern decor. I would definitely dine here again to see if it was a "one-off" with the slow service.

Had a great time at the special Rombauer food and wine pairing dinner last night. The four of us started with a HH cocktail on the patio. Highly recommend the lavender lemon drop. It was well-balanced, not overly sweet, and $10 during HH! Except for the beef that was way overcooked, the rest of our meal was delicious, and all of our wine pairings were excellent! Who knew chardonnay could pair well with raw beef?!?? We left with 6 bottles of the Sauvignon Blanc and our friends bought 6 bottles of the Chardonnay/Sauvignon Blanc to take home. It was fun learning about the winery's history and how/why they selected the pairings. We had a great time and definitely want to return to eat at the restaurant!

First visit back since they completed rebuild. Really enjoyed the outdoor patio with the fire pits. Nice secure bicycle parking, decent sized car parking in back. Patio is dog friendly. Love the roll up walls to allow some of the lovely California weather in. The cozy bar is separate of the dining room and hard to figure out exactly where to go without a little help. Drinks were slow but the food was quick and all the service was amazing. Glad to see a place like this come back to the neighborhood.

Service was excellent but the food and drinks were just okay. I ordered the mushroom pizza and it came out lukewarm. The description said it included white truffle oil and I didn’t smell or taste any, which was disappointing considering it was $26. I’d possibly come for happy hour at the bar if I was in the area, but I don’t think I’d come for dinner again.

I would be embarrassed to work in the kitchen here. 40 minutes for a sandwich and a salad. No seasoning on the French dip or the au jus. They gave me the wrong fries and then tried to take my entire plate to fix the fries. You messed up just go get me the right fries and let me keep the food I waited 40 minutes for. My wife ordered the seared ahi tuna salad and it was completely devoid of acidity and salt. The hummus was a dry clump in the corner of the bowl that looked absolutely unapatizing. I asked for my check ten minutes ago and I'm just sitting here writing this review. Going on an hour and thirty minutes just to get a messed up order and get on with our day. I came seven months ago for brunch and it was stellar. Not sure what's going on.

It’s a ok restaurant. Service was mediocre along with the food. Not sure why my spaghetti came broken into pieces??? The short rib was weird, fatty, and a texture of undercooked meat. They charge a 4% low wage fee which was weird because the price of the food is a bit high. PARKING!! Omg the parking. We got lucky but every lot is labeled no parking and the area only has a few paid parking spots. The restaurant seems to have an identity issue with vibes of a sports bar, the bar was closed at 4:30pm on Monday, but ambience of a lounge. I’m not sure I would return.

I’ve seen happier faces at the DMV than I did at this restaurant. Upon arrival, the host barely acknowledged us, and when we left, she didn’t even say goodbye. Perhaps it was an off day, but it left a poor impression. The server was professional but seemed unfamiliar with the menu, which didn’t help. The food itself was disappointing. It tasted like it had come straight from the freezer—watery and flavorless. And calling what they served "ceviche" was an insult to the dish. A squeeze of lemon juice doesn’t make something ceviche. The chimichurri was passable, and the meat was decent, but nothing extraordinary. As for dessert, the chocolate Oreo dish felt store-bought. I’d bet $100 it wasn’t made in-house. For what they’re charging, the food quality just doesn’t match up. That being said, the restaurant is in a beautiful location, and the ambiance is great. We visited on a Friday evening when only two other tables were occupied, and with all the extra staff, we expected top-notch service. Surprisingly, it was the runners who provided the best service of the night. I didn’t notice any managers present, which is probably why the finer details were missed. They really need a solid floor manager to oversee the experience.
