Si buscas un sitio con personalidad y comida espectacular, este es el lugar. Es un espacio muy original con un ambiente que te atrapa desde el primer momento. La propuesta culinaria es de muy atractiva, pero hay dos platos que juegan en otra liga: el paté (suave y con un sabor increíble) y el arroz con pato, que estaba en su punto exacto y buenísimo. Todo esto, sumado a una atención impecable y muy cercana, hace que la experiencia sea de 10. ¡Sin duda, un sitio para repetir y recomendar!

Un sitio altamente recomendable, la comida es excelente, está todo delicioso. El personal es muy amable y está pendiente y atento en todo momento de las necesidades de los clientes, sus recomendaciones siempre son un acierto. El hecho de que los perritos sean bienvenidos es un plus extra para el restaurante. No dejen de probar el arroz crujiente, toda una delicia!

Buenas. Esta semana estuve visitando el contenedor… para mí sorpresa me encontré con el chef de Tgastronómico… su comida es exquisita, creativa y hecha con el corazón… tiene un gran talento… pone pasión y dedicación… siempre que tengo el placer de probar sus platos… como el arroz crujiente con pato… es una experiencia inolvidable. Quise saludarlo y preguntarle por su nombre, así que gracias por tu arte Diego. Eres capaz de crear magia con ingredientes simples. Espero que nunca pierda usted el amor por la cocina. Un saludo.

Of all the great places we tried during our stay in Seville, this is the one that captured our hearts. We ate here twice. The vibe here is genuine, the staff welcoming and attentive, the kitchen is open which adds to the interest and warmth, you are made to feel immediately at home. Between both visits, we tried nine different items on the menu, any one of which I would happily enjoy again.

Staff kindly made room for us on Christmas when fully booked. It was the best Christmas gift we could have imagined. The food was both different and comforting - a hard combination to pull off. Black rice cuttlefish/"choco" was truly amazing as was the duck/"pato". The desserts were novel and not overly sweet. I loved the unique atmosphere. It is colorful and yet welcoming. Wishing everyone the chance to spend some time in conTenedor company.

ConTenedor was easily the best meal we had in Sevilla. The service was incredible, guiding us to a delicious three course meal of pâté with various cheeses, a delicious curried duck and rice entree, and two generous helpings of cheese cakes to end the evening. The wine was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was superb. The restaurant itself had a very friendly vibe and we felt right at home despite not having reservations. Highly recommend a stop by conTenedor if you have time in Sevilla. You will not regret it!

We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived early being offered aperitifs and the menu was fully explained before we made our choices. All of the food was very special some good combinations of flavour. We would highly recommend for a holiday treat. It's was also a change from tapas, quite a way out of town but walkable from the centre.

Good place for vegetarians! They had several vegetarian salad appetizers and a cheese plate, as well as many entree options that were vegetarian or could be modified to be vegetarian. Very friendly service and the place itself is kitschy and cute. Staff speaks English which is a plus! Loved the wok veggies and apple cheesecake with pistachio ice cream. Would recommend but you need a reso!

I had a wonderful experience at ConTenador! As I was eating alone, they placed me opposite the kitchen so I could watch the hustle and bustle. I ordered the leek starter, which was decent, but the swordfish and mushroom main was really great. The sauce was equally garlicky, salty, and sweet. It was wonderful. The staff were also very attentive, nothing was an issue (I don’t usually like sardines so they put them on the side so I could enjoy them if I wished, they were actually delicious). Also feels notable to mention, it looked like majority women in the kitchen which feels very rare in a male dominated industry, it was great to see. And the overall atmosphere between the chefs seemed great too, it’s nice to see a team that gets on well (working in hospitality previously that also feels rare!). Overall lovely experience. Also some great vegan options.

There is so much to say. Out of our entire trip to Spain/Portugal this was BY FAR the beat and most memorable meal we had. Staff and host were so friendly, spoke English and you can see they loved their menu and food. I saw the duck and had to try it and it far exceeded my expectations. We ended up ordering the pate, salad, duck and fish and a dessert to share. The pate was so generous and tasty and the salad was devine that I need to find a way to replicate it at home! Outside an issue we had which was 100% quickly remedied, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this restaurant. Would return and recommend in a heartbeat!

A lovely evening with some exceptional food and drinks. We'd booked to come on our first night in Seville based on the reviews and pics we'd seen online. As the menu changes frequently there's not a menu on the website. On arrival we were given a very extensive drinks menu, and took advice from the knowledgeable staff. Drinks done we moved onto the blackboard with the food options. All the options were explained, with care taken over any allergies. The service was attentive and spot on. These people have eaten the food on the menu so can direct you appropriately. The food was exceptional, outstanding salmon tartar, one of the largest and tastiest duck breasts I've ever had and outstanding ibérico pork. I couldn't manage dessert, but the dry sherry our waitress recommended really finished the meal on a high.

Situado cerca del centro pero en una zona más tranquila, ofrece un buen servicio con sabores originales, donde la atención de su personal es sobresaliente. Platos distintos que pueden ser buenos para cena pero se quedan algo cortos en cantidad para quien sea de gran apetito en almuerzos. Como pega, se echa en falta más variedad en el menú y opciones de tapas.

Ambiente agradable en un local con decoración original. La carta muy variada y te la explican al detalle. La calidad de la comida es buena aunque el precio para la cantidad que ponen es elevado.

Nos gusto bastante. El arroz con pato muy bueno con mucho sabor. La tarta de chocolate bastante buena, llena muchísimo.

Cocina bien pero tampoco extraordinario, el servicio un poco atosigador en cuanto a retirar platos, molesta que te quieran retirar el plato mientras estás terminándolo, algo que seguro es corregible, destacar por la misma persona la atención que fue extraordinaria y siempre pendiente de si necesitábamos algo más y siendo proactivo en ofrecer, cosa que se agradece en vez de estar llamando uno mismo. En cuanto a precio caro, me sorprendió mucho que por una ensalada de boniato que no era de mucha cantidad cobrasen 21 euros, es algo exagerado en comparación con el precio de los otros platos.

Me da mucha pena escribir esta reseña, pero esta última visita a uno de nuestros restaurantes preferidos no ha sido satisfactoria. El arroz con pato, que tan rico estaba y triunfaba en la carta, ahora es un plato de arroz pasado y soso acompañado de dos salsas fallidas que tampoco mejoran el resultado. Poco después nos confesaron que habían cambiado el cocinero y que tenía que ponerse al día, pero no debe ser una excusa para un restaurante que sigue cobrando los platos al mismo precio que cuando eran excelentes (+20€). Aunque la atención fue magnífica, como siempre, no sé si volveremos por la incertidumbre de pagar por una experiencia que puede distar mucho de la que se vivía allí hace unos meses. Lo de pagar 2€ por agua filtrada de grifo lo trataremos en otro capítulo…

El cambio de gestión se nota muchísimo. El local es muy chulo pero... Pedimos una botella de vino. El camarero abre la primera, pone una copa y había algo del tapón. La cambia. Vuelve a la mesa con otra botella. Vuelve a abrirla y le pasa lo mismo. Va a la cocina y vuelve con una jarra de vino diciendo que ya estaba filtrada que si nos parecía bien. Bueno...tampoco la culpa era del chaval y no queríamos que se sintiera incómodo (puesto que la responsabilidad no es suya sino de la gestión, l@s encargad@s del restaurante que ni siquiera se han acercado para preguntarnos que qué nos parecía pagar 23 euros para un vino que ni siquiera sabíamos qué era). Decepcionante. El nivel ha bajado muchísimo. Pésima gestión. Repito, el camarero no tenía culpa, l@s encargad@s si. No volveré.

Es la segunda vez que vengo a comer. La primera vez me había encantado. Esta vez, en cambio, los platos no tenían ningún interés, nada especial en el plato. Solo hay extranjeros comiendo allí; se ha convertido en un lugar para turistas. Además, pedimos un plato con verduras y preguntamos si llevaba berenjenas, ya que mi esposa es alérgica. El camarero lo verificó con la chef y ella le dijo que no. Una vez servido el plato, había berenjenas. Se lo señalé al camarero; volvió a la cocina diciendo que lo iban a cambiar, pero regresó con el mismo plato diciendo que no lo cambiarían y que no eran berenjenas sino calabacines. Tenían el color y el sabor de la berenjena (los probé), pero insistieron en que eran calabacines. Terminé el plato yo solo. Mi esposa no comió nada porque ya no tenía confianza y pedí hablar con la chef. Ella vino y me dijo que eran calabacines, que su colega los había preparado esa semana (así que ni siquiera era ella quien podía estar segura) y que además no tenían calabacines. Pagamos la cuenta y nos fuimos. Es inadmisible. ¿Por qué no simplemente cambiar la guarnición y evitar crear este problema innecesario? No volveré nunca más.
