Cafe International

This place is an amazing hidden gem in Lower Haight, with the most relaxing backpatio! They have great coffee and a wide ranges of options for breakfast or lunch. It's my favorite local coffee in the neighborhood. I love the international feel, the welcoming and laid back owner who speaks many languages! Make sure to drop by there if you're around.

The people working there are awesome and friendly. Also the cafe deserves its name with a lot international guests coming here

I liked it a lot - it’s just a great space! Delicious house roast coffee!!! I got the bagel and hummus and they were perfect with little piles of veggies on the side. Reasonable prices, lovely and friendly service, and cozy seating and decor.

Finally found a cafe that gets it! Plenty of outlets to plug in your laptop, and they actually encourage you to stay and work. The coffee is excellent, and they have a great selection of fresh sandwiches, salads, and juices to keep you fueled throughout the day.

Most incredible place and the lady who was the cashier was the sweetest ever. They had live jazz on Sunday and it was lovely - highly recommend this gem. Sandwich and salad was delicious

The most precious place. Super spacious, lots of seating. Cute small outdoor space in the back. Didn’t try the food but coffee was nice. Menu looks good anyways - bagels sandwiches salads smoothies. What more could you want? Excellent vibe with oldies music and couches and funky tables and art work. So grateful places like this exist! Any other “modern” cafe would be slammed on a Sunday morning. This place is a hidden gem.

This place should be protected at all costs. Got the bagel with cream cheese and avocado with all the fixins (sprouts, onions, tomatoes, and small serving of fruit) for $7.25, and a large mocha for $4.50. Zahrah, the shop owner, was sweet and super genuine. Cafe International is an institution, supported by locals and keeping prices affordable despite being in the Lower Haight. Cash only with atm on site. This place is amazing (shop local!)

Menu definitely had the variety that I wanted. Ended up getting a smoothie and my partner a mocha latte, which both came out delicious! Lady in the front was sweet and had a lovely conversation with her. Atmosphere is very relaxing, and will be coming back during my next trip.

Interesting local coffee shop that has been around for a while. Do talk to the local owner lady, she’s such a lovely and interesting figure and very pleasant to talk to. Coffee is all right. Desert is good.

This place is an absolute gem!!! I came here for breakfast, super cool inside, good vibe all around. The lady at the register was super nice and funny! The avocado bagel I got was fabulous! House coffee was good. And everything was so reasonably price. This is a really good place to come and chill or work on your computer since there is also free WiFi. There is also a super cute backyard area with lots of plants and a beautiful mural. You can smoke in the backyard as well. Definitely recommend and definitely coming back!

The food is amazing. I’m very happy I came here because of the music. I tried the roast beef sandwich with French bread so very good and delicious. Service was excellent.

Cafe International has the best Turkish coffee in San Francisco. I started coming for the coffee; but I’ve stayed for the atmosphere— it’s such a relaxing place to go and wind down from the fast pace of city life. The music is always excellent. And everyone has been so nice whenever I have come in and the owner remembers people after meeting them only once or twice. All the drinks are super affordable too— under $7 for most things; or like $15 for the family size Turkish coffee

Decided to stop here because we passed by every morning. Had the bagel with lox, my friend had the bagel with egg. It was okay — not great. Wasn’t super fresh or tasty. Gave me a TON of coffee which was also meh. It looks cute but I wouldn’t stop in.
