i visited sf for work & happened to stop here for morning coffee. the latte i had was so dang good anytime anyone says the word coffee i deep down feel the need to talk about this latte. i am fully prepared to fly 7 hours back just to have this latte again. i swear i bring it up so much cento coffee will never need affiliate marketing, i've got it covered all by myself. please feel free to put this review on a t-shirt.
Best coffee in SF. It is hard to find a full bodied dirty chai with whole milk, but these guys do it right. Owner works at the shop and all coffee is roasted fresh. Must stop in SF if you are a motorcycle enthusiast.
Had cappuccino and croissant. Baristas are always excellent and friendly. Perfect espresso. My favorite downtown coffee shop. Good place to do a little work and read a book.
I work around the corner but have stopped by here a few times. It’s a cute little spot with a fun decor. Service is always great and the coffee itself is very good. If you’re nearby, give it a shot!
Honestly don’t know why I haven’t discovered this cafe until now. I have been to most new age coffee roasters in SF, but the latte here is tops. I think they use good milk but their blend is absolutely amazing. Do make a pit stop after dining at Okawari next door.
I love their blue theme color! All their drinks come with lathe art💕 The restroom is customers only.
Such nice place to hang out in. Very artistic and design-y.
Tiny spot with quirky decor that serves up some strong coffee. Prepare to get wired! Love the vibe but no seating inside. Grab and go. There was a bit of a wait. The description says it's cash only, but I was able to use my phone like most places these days.
Best coffee in town! At a great price. Small, little shop on the wall basically with amazing coffee!! The cortado was fantastic! And the double espresso a bomb!

Small, hidden away, cash only, cafe near the train station. Great pour overs and espresso drinks on offer. The interior is decorated with a sort of Vespa racing theme and includes including some interesting memorabilia. Small counter run by a single barista. Minimal seating out front and little, if no, seating inside. I didn't try, but it looks like you can place orders through the front window too.
One of my favorite new coffee shops. There's an art gallery in back!
Great coffee shop in a cute space! They make a great horchata latte and cortado as well
Fantastic coffee quality and great location/atmosphere. Located inside the Centre for Architecture + Design, but open to the public. One of the best place to pick up beans for pour over — and their espresso is pulled perfectly every time.
Little oasis in the middle of downtown. Great place to meet up with friends and very tasty coffee/cookie. Management was nice as well and knowledgeable about the area. Make it you go to coffee pit stop!
I think this was the place I found that has good cappuccino! Probably best coffee shop near to where I am staying
A looong time ago, I had a Cortado from here. and I chatted with the barista while said Cortado was being whipped up. Told him I was Canadian, to which he told me I HAD to watch Letterkenney and Kill the bear. Tragically, I haven’t yet done it. But I think about his request often. And once I have a TV again, and access to shows, I will !!! Ps the Cortado was delectable I still haven’t

Cool little cafe. Excellent macchiato. Just FYI there are a lot of student or staff meetups so it's a social café. Great big communal table but no plugs for laptop work. That should help people decide based on their needs. $6.20 with tip for my drink.
I had a doctor’s appointment on sutter street and was looking for a cup of coffee and quick bite beforehand. I found Cento. Friendly service, yummy vanilla latte, and beautiful interior inside a famous historical building.
Nice moto bike- themed little coffee shop with lots of interesting and fun artifacts and photos inside to keep your eyes busy while waiting for the coffee. They also have a pastry box but sometimes they run out of options. They are no longer in the alley where they used to be and they accept all kinds of payment now so definitely not cash only any more.
The decor here is just calling out to have that hipster filter from your favorite photo editing app applied... you know what I'm talkin about! I appreciate the theme. Now about the coffee. A little pricey, but no tax and you get a fair size. Roast was a little light for my liking (in latte form) as I generally prefer darker.
Cute Café! A Latte & Banana Bread was $11. The barista worked quick and was friendly.

Getting stared down by the barista because you forgot to ask for a splash of milk in your Americano is an interesting experience, especially for a place that charges $5 before tax and tip for an Americano
