Fresh, Tasty, and open late. Would give them a try if you're in the area and want something filling and seasoned.
There’s something special here. I try not to eat meat, but I was sorely tempted by the chicken schwarma stack. The kabab looked great too. I had a falafel. It was unusual in its inclusion of picked veg that resembled daikon. The falafel wrap was beautifully finished with grilled sear, which also helped the wrap to hold together better than many other places that do falafel wraps.
Really enjoyed this place. The food was amazing and great in a pinch before a show at the Fox Theater. The presentation was great. I really enjoyed the food, though was not in love with the amount of arugula in the dish. The hot sauce was delicious and I only wish I could have more of it. This location, however, really is best for takeout. There are seats outside, but nothing special.
I love this place so authentic an the energy is a win win, must come try… Staff is so kind an makes me feel good spending my hard earned money there to know my food is going to be so good. 😊
Very good food and quick service. I got the vegan bowl, which includes falafel, roasted cauliflower, veggies, and I got a mix of yellow rice and arugula salad. The difference between bowl and plate is that the plate comes with pita and is $2 more. It tasted fresh and flavorful. The falafel balls were, crunchy enough on the outside, if a little dense on the inside, and the cauliflower was browned and had a nice softness. The hummus sauce was creamy and delicious. The arugula salad had a nice sweet, fruity dressing on it. It came with a hot sauce paste (maybe harissa) on the side that was medium hot and vinegary. I just recommend to mix the bowl a bit, as I had a large bunch of arugula salad at the bottom that I unearthed near the end. I also like that they use compostable containers, instead of plastic
A go-to for Mediterranean in the Bay Area. Timely delivery and food is very fresh and delicious! Highly recommend the plates and kebabs - not only are they all delicious, but you get so much food (great value) and just as tasty leftover.
Came for falafel, got great falafel (and hummus and lebne!) Loved the sauce and would definitely come again. Friendly staff even brought an umbrella outside for us!

This place is a cool, hole in the wall, Mediterranean place to grab food for lunch or before a show at the Fox theater. Nice food. Great sweets after the meal. Very genuine middle eastern treats
Our favorite falafel spot. Favorites in our house are the falafel bowl 1/2 rice 1/2 salad (I like to add eggplant) and the chicken shawarma plate. Their harissa is amazing.
The food is great, middle eastern with a little bit of Spanish flair. Best for togo or delivery. They have seating by the sidewalk, a small wooden area.
among a wealth of levantine takeout options in the area, i think this one might just be the best. i do want to be clear that while i more often than not order delivery, i have gone to the location enough and have never once seen the eponymous falafel boy. i have concluded that either he is more of a mascot-like abstraction, or if he was ever literally real, he is now a grown Falafel Man. i think this is important to establish because it helps assert that, contrary to what you may think, this eatery does NOT depend on child labor in any form, which i obviously would not condone as it is illegal and unethical. with that out of the way, i've eaten from here enough times to have tried a range of options from the menu, and they're all worthwhile. the flavor imparted to the kebab is excellent, and it is consistently cooked to near perfection. i appreciate that the wraps are lavash, because i know there are other places around here that only have pita, and i like pita, but i just don't think a wrap is its ideal use case; at minimum, it kind of makes the meal into a different sort of thing. my favorite item is actually the cauliflower bowl; the blend of flavors from the various elements in the bowl is wonderful, and the cauliflower itself is both well-seasoned and cooked to ideal texture. the falafel is of course done well; the hummus is done well. nothing here is a miss, and everything is, again, prepared by adults only. do not worry.
I just found this place walking in the neighborhood, as I changed jobs recently. The food is absolutely delicious. Love my chicken Shawarma rice bowl. I’m definitely going back.

Small Arabic/Mediterranean place, we came for the pita bread, made fresh that day! Looks like mostly just for take-out and door dash type orders, not really a sit-in place. But friendly staff and good food.
My favorite neighborhood spot to order in from when I’m feeling lazy. Always solid, fresh, and generous portions. Chicken shawarma wrap is my go-to with curly fries but the falafel is great. Can’t speak for everything on the menu but everything I get never disappoints.
Fast and delicious! Both our plates had a nice balance of creamy hummus, savory meat, perfectly baked naan, and refreshing coleslaw. They came with a nice and vibrant red sauce that added a tangy-spicy kick as an option. Everything in the plate was bursting with its own unique and vibrant flavor. Highly recommend.
ive never physically stopped by the storefront but have ordered falafel boy with my friends for delivery. i ordered the chicken shawerma bowl (hummus, tomatoes, sumac spiced onions and tahini sauce) and it was fireeee. i really enjoyed everything i had ordered and would 10/10 stop by again or order takeout again.
Solid, halal food if you need a quick bite to eat. The shop is small so there isn’t much seats but take out is easy.
I love Falafel but most times it is a chore finding a place that makes them the right way. Sometimes they are too dry, sometimes too crunchy etc. At Falafel Boy I was pretty happy with my meal. I just got a Falafel wrap and the flavors and textures were good. The only issue I had was with the wrap itself. It was very tough and took me out of the experience. I would be willing to give it another shot though, given how good everything else was. I also ordered the halloumi which was a little too charred and honestly not salty enough. Still, it could have just been an off day.

I’ve had much much better shawarma wraps for $19. $4 for a side of beef that’s barely a few bites is sad.

ordered on uber eats. pics speak for itself , let's just say, my dog wouldn't even eat this food. spoiled meat, spoiled food , literally disgusting
Called ahead to ask about the plates and which was gluten free. Should’ve done more due diligence for that part like leaving a note on the order. I don’t think it would’ve mattered much given that the falafel was plated on pita. The falafel is literally labelled gf on the ordering. Why even bother saying it’s gluten free if you’re going to plate it on gluten when it doesn’t typically come with pita anyway? Just disappointed at the lack of thought towards allergens you took time to list on your website.

I use to come all the time, but the falafel balls are not fresh anymore. I no longer go, because the last few times I was disappointed with the falafel. I think they kept them under a heated lamp, and not cooked per order.
the place has major customer service issues. i went inside today to order a falafel sandwich and the guy inside not interested in taking my order and then he made me feel bad that i wanted to customize my sandwich, will not go there again and i just left the restaurant.

⭐ 1/5 I was very disappointed with this restaurant. The food was served cold, and for the price, it was definitely not worth it. It was also quite expensive compared to the quality. On top of that, there were no proper places to sit down, only outside on the street, which was uncomfortable. Overall, not a good experience and I wouldn’t recommend it.
