This place is amazing. First, the owner is tending bar. That means great service with a personal touch. Second, the beer list is incredible. Third, the interior is crazy wonderful. This is a SF must see!
Interior is interesting and unique. The atmosphere was friendly and chill. They had a nice selection of beers. We took them up on their sake bomb special and it was worth it.
Came here at an early time when it was empty. Great, divey vibes with lots of conversation pieces in the decor. Hot sake was good too. Wouldn't know how this place is when it's crowded, but it's definitely worth a stop.
Great spot! Great vibe! Great bartender! Francis was great to hang out. Go here if you’re in the neighborhood. Highly recommend!
Fun bar, they have lots of taps and also a handful of fun cidars. It's also usually not too crowded, easy enough to get a spot to sit and chat. It's a little on the grungy side, and definitely dark. However, I think it's part of the charm.
My friends and I had a wonderful time at this funky bar. The cherry sour ales were delicious and Anish, the bartender was extraordinarily warm and inviting. I highly recommend it for an aesthetically unique experience. :) Thank you, Noc Noc!
My favorite bar experience in SF! They have delicious drinks at reasonable prices. Despite all the seats filled, it was still quiet enough to carry conversations without shouting!
Coolest atmosphere. They serve unique cider blended beers with crazy art and friendly barkeep.
The Noc Noc is a little gem in Lower Haight. It has an atmosphere unlike any other bar we have been to. They have a great beer selection which is always changing and the bartenders treat you like family. The people in the bar are very friendly too! We will be back!
Went here on vacation. The drink selection is decent and if you like sours it’s awesome. The environment is cool and the owner is the chillest, friendliest dude you’ll ever meet. When I come back to SF I’m definitely coming here again.
Cool place, small bar in SF. Very sour sours which I love. Bartender was great. Had good drink suggestions. It was cash only tho so make sure you have paper before you go.
Had my birthday party there! What a great spot and the owner is great! The lightning is also great! Thank you Noc Noc for the best birthday day ever!
Old school Sam Clams Disco bar. Good beer selection, friendly bartender. You will not find another bar like this. Oh, and happy hour until 7pm!
Eclectic local bar, with a very unique atmosphere and beer menu. Probably one of the most interesting interiors I've ever seen. You feel like you're in a 1970s alien movie. Cozy atmosphere is great for hanging out with friends. The beer menu is also unique, featuring many sours and specialty drinks including mixes of different beer types. Cash only.
We rented out Noc Noc in late January to host a surprise engagement party for some of our friends. It was a fantastic experience and would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, intimate space to celebrate a special occasion with those you love. Rahmat, the owner, gave us a great quote for the evening (the best we got in town) and was super responsive in the days leading up to the event. On the day of, he tended bar (serving a really nice variety of beer & sake) and was just a really fun, friendly presence. He let us show up early to set up decorations, bring in outside food and got us hooked into the bar's sound system so we could get everyone dancing. It was a night to remember and we were all very grateful to Rahmat and Noc Noc for making it so easy. I will definitely be back in the future!
Great funky art bar to try craft brews. I would recommend coming before 7pm for great happy hour deals. Dog friendly! Feel as if you're part of the community. Definitely the real San Francisco.
Rahmat was an amazing host, it was an absolute pleasure to grab a few drinks and hang out!
One of my favorite bars, especially for sour beers. Haven’t been here since pre-pandemic and was actually worried that it would be gone. But they made it through and it was bustling tonight! Bartender was pretty cool!
Vibey bar with a great owner/bartender. Dark lighting and aboriginal art vibes. Good beer selection both in cans and on draft. Wine and sake also. Happy hour specials til 7 pm
Very cool eclectic little place. That's maybe not such a big thing for San Francisco, but I really enjoyed this bar. Right next to Toronado which is touted as a great beer bar, I enjoyed Noc Noc far more. The beer list may be smaller, but there were still excellent selections available. Great service.
quirky unique bar that will spark conversation. great beer!
Friendly owner, interesting atmosphere, good beer selection. Will come again.
A really fun bar - walked in when the bartender was having discussion with a guest on whether one song is Marvin Gaye remix. The whole aboriginal vibe, as it claims on google map, is pretty nice. The not too bright lighting also makes it a great date place - yes there are a few make-out spots
Very groovy bar. Dark, excellent down temp music, good selection of beers. Came on a Tuesday eve wasnt too crowded.

This is a bar that serves wine, cider and beers. An amazing fleck in the beer for that matter I've been. This is not a restaurant. However, you can bring your food from next door restaurants to go and sit and enjoy here.
Amazingly weird, a real gem. Strange and wonderful interior with a wildly good beer selection and the owner, Remat, is a genuine “only in SF” character. Go for the decor, stay for the sour beer, and support a neighborhood bar that could never be imitated.
My husband loves sours, so he was stoked we stumbled across this trippy little spot! The owner was super chill and friendly, and the cider I had was crisp and ice cold. We had a blast hanging out and planning the rest of our evening here!
This is the most personal, vibey bar you’ll ever go to. Must see in SF— locals and tourists alike.
I love this quirky bar! Different DJs all the time to switch things up too. Good stuff.
The closest bar experience to a great acid trip with no anxiety :), and with an incredible beer list and the most congenial and welcoming owner ever to boot. My go-to 1st date spot and favorite bar in SF.
Super cool atmosphere, always an amazing beer list of Belgians and sours. Bar tender is super friendly and knowledgeable on helping you find new beers if you’re looking to explore!
I had my 30th birthday party here with 40 people. My friends all kept telling how much they enjoyed the venue and how they enjoyed the beer. I really like the vibe and the owner is a great guy. Rahmat will take care of you and ensure there’s good customer service. Totally recommend going here, especially for a private event.

When you walk into this bar, it reminded me of going through the looking glass. The decor is a bit odd yet pleasing. This bar definitely has it's own style! They take cards here which was nice and I grabbed a drink and took a seat on one of their more interesting benches. The beer selection is really good and the bartender knew her stuff! This is definitely a unique place to come and grab a beer with a friend! I will be back here to relax and chat!
Great selection of bottled beers. The decor is straight out of a Dali painting. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the patrons are cool and attractive. The atmosphere is in pleasantly stark contrast to Toronado, the neighboring pub.
Very quirky and hip bar. Very dark mood lighting with strange decor and art work throughout inside. They always have interesting music playing which sets the scene but its never played at a level that interferes with the atmosphere. The selection of drinks here is astounding but the staff will help you decipher the variety and find exactly what you like.
great if you are looking for a quick drink. l believe the bartender is hard of hearing because the volume was not at all great for a conversation. but the cave-like atmosphere is worth a visit!
Our first time here was an above average experience (meaning I'll actually remember the spot and name and keep it in mind for future visits). We walked over to Arlequin on hayes for dinner and wine, and felt like a detour on our way back home to potrero to check out a new (for us) spot. They have a medium selection of beers (better bottle selection, tbh) for medium prices. The decor of course was over the top, which I was afraid would give it a hipster destination vibe, but it was quite the opposite and worked quite well as a chill den to hang out in (and not too crowded, but just busy enough to have a chill vibe on an early Saturday evening). Would go again if looking for a casual, maybe slightly high, living room beer vibe. Probably not a "Destination", but has the potential to suck you in for a while if your in the area.
Think of Wizard of Oz at Burning Man with a hint of the Shire. You got it? Okay good, now put in a tiny bar in the back some where with a GREAT beer selection and that's pretty much Noc Noc. It's a good quirky bar. It's pretty small and just like every other bar in that one strip of the Lower Haight it gets pretty crowded on the weekends. But hey, if you get tired you can always sit on a huge pillow on the ground...I'm not kidding, it's pretty cool.
Noc Noc is such a quirky and weird place and I think that's why I love it so much. I like to describe it as having that creepily charming Tim Burton vibe. They have a ton of beers here and a few ciders as well, even some sake. I find myself always getting a snake bite or 3 during happy hour which is a great time to come here as its often fairly empty; perfect to just kick back with some cheap drinks and chat with friends. Don't forget to follow it up with a gargantuan meal at RickyBobby's right down the street. Your night of overindulgence awaits!
This place looks really cool on the inside. It's got a "plane crashed into a prehistoric cave" sort of vibe going on. Definitely the highlight of the experience. Drinks-wise, it's alright. They only serve beer and wine, so if you want a cocktail, you gotta go somewhere else. The beer selection is okay, nothing great. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but I might go back if I'm nearby.
Great beer, nice decor and friendly staff. It's like going into a cave full of beer, but not overly crowded or noisy (at 230 on a Saturday).
It’s a nice place to hang out with your friends. I heard this place had been here for a long time, like from the 90s. The paints and lights are the best part of this bar.
Nice & dark aboriginal-voodoo'ish beer cave. Good craft beer selection!

No food, but, I like the curated variety of drinks you can get here. I hate to be insensitive, but, I have to admit that the bomb-shelter-esque decor creates a vibe that always feels fun. (I suppose primarily so because- it's NOT actually an underground bunker made for escaping enemy warfare attack.) My only nit-pick is that the interior has changed very little (if at all) in the last three decades.

This place is SO weird like really out there. Smelled like burning. No liquor only beer wine cider etc. Theme is schizophrenic Fred Flintstone. They were blasting BigBootieMix Vol. 14 while I was there for someone’s 29th birthday. If I’m having my 29th b day there, shoot me…
