The dining room is nice--but there's still no indoor dining because of the COVID safety protocols and the possibility that Nassau will reinstitute lockdowns with the cold and flu season approaching. As such, their take-out and delivery business can get really busy during dinner hours--especially on the weekends. (I called at 5:45PM on a Saturday to pick-up a simple order of fried rice and chow fun. I didn't leave the restaurant until 6:30PM..

I mainly order take out and service is always prompt, the food always tasty and consistent Everytime. The Singapore noodles and shredded chicken with green chiles are my go to dishes and I’m never disappointed and it always hits the spot. They always respect my modifications regarding no beef or pork in the noodles and the dish is still tasty. The staff is so nice too. The inside is always clean, parking easy. Prices are worth the portions, even with 3 people eating the 2 entrees we always have leftovers for at least 1 more meal. Will continue to come here as always, and one day will expand to try other things in the menu!

Mistakenly stumbled upon this place during the snowstorm and was pleasantly surprised. The waiter was very nice and was attentive to our dining requests. He brought out the egg roll/shrimp spring roll and chicken wing appetizer first. All items were fresh and smoking hot. The wings weren’t the most flavorful but had a fresh breading. Entrees were quickly demolished (roast pork egg foo young, general tsos chicken, house special fried rice). Overall a great experience and it exceeded expectations with the fairly modest reviews.

Absolutely love this place. As soon as you sit down they bring out hot tea and mein gon noodles with duck sauce — such a nice touch and honestly SO good. Portions are huge, everything tastes fresh, and the soups are amazing. The vibe is peaceful, the staff is super friendly and really attentive without hovering. Even their takeout is on point. After a long hiatus we tried Empire Garden again about 2 months ago, We’ve been back 3 times and recommend it to several people, We got the Sizzling Rice Soup, Pu Pu Platter, Shredded Pork with Garlic Sauce and Happy Family. All were outstanding. I highly recommend Empire Garden. I think it’s under new ownership. Give it a try.

MY FOOD WAS sooo GREASY!! Even my soup was greasy. My food was so greasy I had to wipe my lips after each bite!! Stale fortune cookies and plain general tso. Egg rolls were plain yuck!! The egg roll shell itself was very thin and slippery. i passed it over to someone that was hungry. My co workers and I ordered delivery and the driver stood there with his hand on hip(attitude) until he received his money then stormed out. Our experience overall was GREASY YUCKINESS!! The lady on the phone was nice tho.

The quality had gone down a bit, maybe new owners? This was a place my family and I frequented a lot for a.good meal. I haven't been back there in six years or so, and decided to give it another try while visiting family for the weekend. It wasn't terrible, really, but it also wasn't very good.

I recently ordered a pickup at empire garden. On dec 30. This was at 430 in the afternoon so it wasn't busy. The guy took my order and I told him no mushrooms in an of my dishes,I wanted the hand made little cup.he said fine an gave me a price .I was very disappointed he didn't give me any mustard at all. I dont care that they raised the prices 30 % .but dont yes me an not send any mustard. I will stop buying from there again.as good as the food is I dont care.there always rushing to get of the phone. Well they wont have to worry about me.i will not call again

So I thought I had finally found a local Chinese restaurant that I could go to after the closure of Tin Sing in Floral Park. It worked for a while until we expanded our menu choices... Tonight we ordered some different things: sesame shrimp, wontons in chili sauce and cold sesame noodles. Oh boy but these were absolutely terrible. I'll start with the cold sesame noodles. The noodles were under done and stale like they'd been sitting around for a week. The sauce if you want to call it that was disgusting. No flavor and no spice. No scallons... Nothing. Was so bland and off putting that it went right in the garbage where it belonged. Next up the sesame shrimp. I know that on take out these heavily breaded entrees can get a little mushy so I ordered them extra crispy to help with that. What we got was so much worse. The batter was UNCOOKED GOO. The only thing you could taste was uncooked flour and the shrimp had that shrimpy taste indicative of food past it's date. This one went right in the garbage too. On to the wonton in chili sauce. So there was no chili sauce at all. No spice. Instead it was in a broken peanut sauce with no flavor whatsoever. Welcome to my garbage can. So this place lacks consistency, and doesn't care about what it is serving to our community. So it looks like another restaurant with no standards, no idea how to prepare tasty dishes and no care about its customers or the food they slop out. I'd like to apologize to anyone who read my earlier review and are here. My search for a good consistent Chinese restaurant in our area continues...

The first time my takeout order was messed up they forgot the brown rice completely from my dish. No napkins, forks or spoons. Then the second time yesterday no napkins forks or spoons for a 54$ order. That to me seems intentional or petty not accidentally. Never ordering here again. Prices are TRIPPLE the amount anyway we deserve utensils!

I understand it was busy and a holiday but should not have accepted orders if they couldn't fulfill them in a timely manner. Did even offer anything as I sat there for.nearly an hour .

Waited over 70 minutes for the food to be delivered. Double what we were told. I eat chinese food at least 3x a week all over this country, as I am a long haul truck driver. Never ever thought I'd have to write a negative review on a Chinese restaurant in NY. Fried dumplings were almost completely dough , scallion pancakes were like rubber , fried wontons were hard little brickets and my crab rangoon were cold inside. This was the last meal I am able to eat before 2 days of medical testing. Really put me in a bad mood. You guys should consider opening a Subway instead.

Ordered food from here to be delivered. The delivery guy was very rude. When i handed him the money he started making sounds of disapproval, like (tsk, eh, ugh), so i asked him if everything was ok, he then proceeded telling me with his attitude that apparently the tip is not enough for him and he wants more, told me his gas aint cheap, when the restaurant is literally 4 minutes away from my house. It was my first time and last time ordering food from here. The service is disgusting. I never had any chinese food restaurant complain about the amount of tip i give. This guy clearly thinks im obligated to pay him at least 10 dollars as a tip. Couldnt enjoy the food after that. Never ordering from here again!

I understand it is a holiday so I do cut them a little slack. We ordered NYE dinner at 8pm via the online option on their website. It gave us directions to pick up in 20 mins. We got there at 830 pm. The man behind the counter says 20 mins more, once again I understand it's a holiday so we go back to the car. We go back at 850pm again he says 20 minutes. My wife was the short straw puller that had to deal with them as I would have probably been a little short with them. At 920 he brings up the food and my wife checks it to make sure everything is there, it isn't. We ordered the rib complete meal, he informs my wife they do not sell that after 5... it let us order it on their website, he didn't tell us that when we walked in and he checked the receipt, a $91.00 order and 90 minutes of wait time and he tells us our order is not complete?!?! Unacceptable! To be honest when we finally ate the food was really good but the customer service was so lacking that we would not be back.

I bought two orders of lunches from this restaurant, shrimp with broccoli. The food wasn’t upto my satisfaction. The shrimp was small and frozen , broccoli overcooked and the sauce was not good . It was a waste of money .

Went there a while back food was excellent, just ordered food tonight and it's not good . I went to pick up food and when I walked in 2 workers where sleeping in the dining room at the tables, and looked at me closed there eyes and went back to sleep! Some man came in after asked if they had carbon monoxide poisoning lol and he woke them up! Food was poor quality for the money you can get this quality from any cheap take out place. Chicken over cooked very dry, also ordered pad Thai which had sweet and sour sauce on it, I eat this all the time it doesn't come like that. Total disappointment! I won't be back !

The one star is not for the food I would give that 4 stars. I went for the lunch menu on a Monday afternoon the place was pretty empty but the server we has was terrible he didn't even greet himself properly or even had a decent personality, after he took our order he didn't even ask if we wanted anything to drink like a soda or beer or water for that matter, he was the type of waiter that your afraid to ask him for anything extra like napkins.. When I received the bill he didn't even return my change assuming it was for his tip most servers ask if you need change.. I have to say I've been to alot of restaurants in my time had real bad server to a point when I talked to the manger but this guy was terrible....

I used to order from this place very often but the food was too greasy and tasted weird so I stop ordering . Today I order because is Christmas Eve and did not have time to make a meal. WELL, they send me the wrong thing and when I called they told me that I order the other thing and that they will give me a credit. I don't want a credit. I will never go back to that place. I want my money back and I want them to take their food away. They also did not give me a receipt so I'm going to have to fight this at the restaurant tomorrow, on Christmas Day . Do not go there.

Ordered beef with asparagus and a spring roll . Spring roll was raw as we're the asparagus in the meal . My bill was 19.00 with I believed should have been a large order it was a small. When I called to complain I was told that is the size, the brown sauce on the beef had no flavor tasted like it came out of a can . Never again

I ordered Thai curry with Tofu, being a vegetarian. The beans were old and they deep fried them. There was no sauce, it was dry, tasteless food, waste of money. I told the staff about the food, no one cared or tried to change the dish. Never going back again.

This is the worst Chineses Restaurant i have ever ordered from. I ordered a large Pork Fried Rice and one order chicken wings with 2 additional wings aded which was supposed to be 6 whole wings total. After picking up my order I got what seems to be a regular size fried rice and 3 wings which was cut in half to make up the 6 wings i ordered. After compiling that I think they got my order wrong, it turned out that their large is basically a regular size which is small and they cut one ☝️chicken wing in 2 pieces and count it as 2 wings. I felt like I got ripped off, never going back here again. I paid almost $30 for a regular fried rice and 3 wings. And not to mention the food was trash and the carpet in this place is very dirty, the place smells and nasty looking. I ended up throwing the food away. Never again..

Imagine being sent the wrong food and being told "YOU messed up the order" ?! How incredibly rude! We said multiple times we wanted just rice and pork in the fried rice and it was sent with eggs mixed in (which we can't eat). When we called asking to be refunded, the lady told us WE messed up the order, not them! Absolutely disgusting. So incredibly rude and not how you treat customers who have been coming there for over 20 years. We will never ever order here ever again and will be sure to tell all of our family members and friends as well.
