Philz Coffee

Today, I stopped into Philz Coffee at 233B South Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills, and Charli took my simple order for a black coffee. Charli was as courteous and professional as could be. Zach prepared my fresh cup of coffee and was equally funny, professional and kind. The coffee was delicious and I will be stopping by Philz Coffee more often in the future. Love visiting here. I am from Chicago so I am familiar with Peets. Love the coffee and the consistency. The seasonal pistachio cold brew is very good.

I really like all the coffees I’ve had which has been most of them. My favorite breakfast item is the green chili burrito with a hot sauce. It’s the perfect size with and is delicious.

Havent even gotten my order yet, but shoutout to the two ladies working today. They’re down 3 employees and are doing everything themselves and making sure everyone is taken care of in a really respectful and calm manner, despite how busy they are. Good for them, as a former restaurant manager, seeing this makes me happy and I hope they get compensated properly for their hard work!

I stopped in for the first time today, and I wish I had sooner! The atmosphere is light and open, which is quite a contrast to most coffee shops. The two women working at the time, one the cashier and the other a barista, were so incredibly kind. They were so cheerful and went above and beyond to make sure my coffee was okay and even provided my dog with a bowl of water! Not only does the coffee tastes great, the fantastic customer service makes it even better! Highly recommend the iced oat milk and honey latte. Perfectly balanced, sweet and creamy, and a great afternoon pick me up.

Marissa makes the best coffee ever. I don’t know what she does that is so drastically different from all the other baristas but her coffee comes out insanely good every single time. She needs to be promoted and train the rest of the staff hahah

If I could, I would get coffee at Philz every morning. But I don’t because David will kill me. And by “kill me,” I mean, point out logical things that annoy me. As someone who prefers to live in a fantasy, I get annoyed easily. He will say, “We can make coffee at home” and I will scream “You don’t understand, it doesn’t taste the same!” and then I will run down the hall and slam the door as I cry into my pillow. He is a monster. We are only “allowed” to go to Philz on Sundays before we go for a hike and though it’s not an official term of our relationship, it is an “understanding” that Philz mornings are meant to be special occasions. Part of me living in a fantasy, however, is thinking that I am entitled to multiple special occasions per week which is why I do sneak out and go to Philz on my own. I had been getting away with it until this Sunday, when David and I went together; pre hike. One of the incredibly sweet staff greeted me with a bit too much familiarity for anyone who was just a once-a-week customer. I tried to play it cool, but I could feel David glaring at me. The jig was up of course. My large-ether-with cream, order has been placed back into my reality which requires that I make my coffee at home, except for Sundays. Reader, I am caught; its already too late for me. But, if you can get away with it, go get your coffee at Philz every single day. because really there is no better way to start the day than with a fantasy.

Absolutely exceptional service! The staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. The coffee is not just amazing but exceptional, and the ambiance of the space is a delightful bonus. Amazing hot fresh coffee and meal items! Staff efficient and so kind. Javier the Manager very accomodating hope they promote him soon he is excellent representative of the brand! P.S. A birthday club free coffee would be a nice plus for Philz to start -- just sayin' :)

Indoor space can get tight during busy hours, but the overall vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Great for a quick pick-me-up or a casual coffee break.

It's amazing to me how everyone so used of having chips on credit cards..then when they get a card without a chip or tap they don't know hope to swap or forget how manual enter it...other then that they service was great and was good

Decent coffee shop in the Rodeo adjacent Charleville strip in Beverly Hills. Celebs pop in all day long. The coffee is 7/10 and they do not offer espresso so don't ask. The food is cool. The service is really good though. Katie is a gem and the whole crew is smiling and upbeat. Good for passing through.

Philz used to be my go to in San Francisco, and delicious every time, but SoCal just can’t deliver, sadly.
