Every location of Simone's has wonderful food and service. If it was a little more than counter service it would be a full-on 5, but it is clean and everything you need is available to grab. Still, it would be lovely to have someone on the floor checking up on the people already seated.
The lady that was serving us was very pleasant and always had a smile on her face as she asked us questions about what we would like in our Bowl. The food was very generous and delicious. We will definitely be back!
Great food, but can we also talk about their bevs?? It truly surprises me because they’re not exclusively a coffee shop but their espresso based drinks are better than most coffee shops! Their espresso has been perfect EVERY time. Do yourself a favor and try their vanilla cardamom latte.
Delicious, fresh, healthy, and fast Mediterranean food. Quite literally, what more could you ask for? Easy buffet-style where you tell them each item you want, which there is a plethora of. Good amount of food for the price, albeit on the slightly higher end. I got one bowl and a small soup and it was around $20.
As an autistic I prefer to pre order my meal so I don't have to wait and can go in my own quiet place to eat and thankfully they are on Grub hub. I order from here weekly and the little bit of overwhelm is worth it for the amazing food. The staff are very attentive and happy to help as well as friendly. I reccomend the hummus and pita as well as the potatoes and rose matcha, that's what I always get and it's my favorite 😍
I'm new to the area and discovered Simone's within the first week. It was not what I was expecting, but it's even better. ! The food is really flavorful, the service is friendly and efficient and it is clean and neat. Their desserts are amazing and I love their iced coffee beverages. Really good. I highly recommend.
I've been coming here since this place opened and the food has always been excellent. Even when the line extends to the door, the wait is never too bad. The staff is always friendly and briskly efficient. I'm glad that this place is here and is an easy go to option for lunches with colleagues.
The food is excellent, you get a LOT of choices despite the relatively small menu. I had the chicken shawarma bowl, and my daughter had the falafel bowl. We spent the whole meal discussing how well done everything was. Highly recommend.
Stopped in for a quick lunch with the cousin and were blown away! Quick and easy and delicious, great place for a quick bite. The bowls were fantastic and all the ingredients were fresh and lovely. I had the marinated tofu as my protein, it was phenomenal. Lovely selection of flavored teas and lemonade and coffees as well. This is a new favorite lunch spot for both of us!
Dined at Simone’s last night with family and loved it. The service was great and the food was delicious — we all enjoyed bowls. The only negative was the bavlava, it was terrible, so dry and of poor quality. We look forward to returning soon.
Amazing always so fresh! Very filling and healthy… great for a quick bite to eat to pick up or to dine in the staff is always friendly and very accommodating to your orders needs! One of the best places to get backlava as well
So good!!! I got the Mediterranean burrito as a bowl and it was so good. The meat is tender and seasoned, the flavors all worked together nicely. The menu has plenty of choices. The place was clean and inviting, staff were friendly. I'm definitely coming back!
Even admist a super busy evening the whoel staff was husseling, working hard, friendly, organized and efficient and clean. Blown away by speediness and high quality staff interactions, and they were well staffed multiple people on the line and helping with back up or refill food. As always food is delicious, nourishing and vibe to eat in very chill and comfy. Baklavas- always a yes.
Very clean and welcoming place. Food is very fresh. I have had a large falafel Mezza bowl previously (huge! yummy!) and today wasn’t as hungry so I had a small plate, keftedes, of meatballs with a spiced yogurt garnish, chopped cucumbers and pickled red onions. Served with some warm pita. Delicious! With a bottled green tea and tip it was $11. Great value for a lovely experience.
This place is FANTASTIC!! My meal was outstanding. The service and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The owner was walking around the restaurant checking in with everyone to see how their meal is. I love this place so much the Chicken Shawarma is amazing I have ordered it several times since! Thank you Simone’s Kitchen!
I went to Simone’s Kitchen and got the create-your-own bowl, and I really liked it. The meatballs were delicious, everything tasted fresh, and the portion size was great for the price. I’d definitely go back.
My 8 year old says: the food is very yummy and deserves a 5 stars. And I agree! The good is delicious, the ingredients are fresh and the staff is wonderful and welcoming.
I stumbled upon this when I was doing a little shopping and got hungry, and it was so good. I got the falafel bowl, and took it home. I don't live near here and wish I had ordered more! Very fresh and tasty, very reasonably priced. A little gem in this plaza.
Beautiful food, fresh, colorful, and flavorful. And best of all great for you (provided you choose the healthiest ingredients)! Don't miss out on that quinoa, it's a complete protein and loaded with other good stuff. I have little experience with mediterranean food and didn't know what many of the styles of preparation were, but it was still wonderful and blew me away with the quality and complexity. This is one place where it's absolutely worth trying everything (be warned one of the sauces is spicy if that's not your thing). I also appreciated that it seemed to be well staffed, and the employees were friendly and helpful without seeming forced. Very often these days stores this size only have an employee or two (I've been that solo grunt) but there was a full team here. Inside was clean (and even had someone going over once more), and wonderful layout with big windows full of nautral lighting, and a cozy dining area that's tucked away from the hubub of the ordering line but doesn't feel stuffy thanks to the windows everywhere. Top quality food here, for freshness and variety. Do be warned the "Moroccan Mint Tea" is just a storebought Bigelow green teabag with a mint leaf thrown on top lol. It still goes well with the cuisine so it's fine if you know what you're getting, but maybe keep your cash if you're expecting a home-brewed gunpowder tea in true Moroccan style. Marketing would be more honest if they dropped the "Moroccan" part and just called it mint green tea.
I typically order delivery from Simone's but I have dined in store twice. It is delicious. The atmosphere and service is top notch. The food is delicious; there is a variety of combinations you can make and you cannot go wrong! The pomegranate lemonade is absolutely a must try!
Today, i had lunch here. Review at bottom. I am going with 4 stars now from appearance inside. I have not eaten there. It was right after lunch that I decided to go in and look around. From what I saw, I believe, I shall eat there soon. I had lunch today. It was a small Greek meatballs bowl, with pita bread. It was very good. I had spiced apple cider, also very good. I took with me a small piece of baklava. My wife informed me it was made with honey. It was too sweet for me. Many windows up front gave the restaurant a brightness. The service was very good. With tip, it was a bit under $25.00, maybe a bit pricey for a small lunch. All in all, I enjoyed it and will return.
my absolute favorite restaurant 🤩 the food is fresh, healthy, and delicious!! my favorite is the mediterranean burrito bowl (without lentils) and extra toppings, which they have so many good ones. the service & the atmosphere are great!! i couldn’t recommend a place more! definitely missing coming here all the time when i lived back home 🥹
The service was fast and friendly, I ordered the large chicken schwarma bowl. It had so many toppings and such a good sized portion. I was super happy with it. I also ordered the cardamom tea which was really good as well. Pricing was extremely fair. Just over $12 for the bowl and less than $3 for the tea. Will come back for sure but this plaza is a nightmare, too many good things in one place.
I enjoyed a yummy chicken shawarma bowl with hearty pita bread and cocoa hazelnut baklava was a treat. The service was quick and the vibe was very chill with pop music and cafe style seating.
Forget the other Mediterranean joints, this one has aced all the key flavors, and I should know! The shawarma bowl was great, the keftedes were excellent (more like suçuk but close enough), and the tzatziki was outstanding. I'm a baklava snob and I totally devoured theirs and would go back for more. They need to do something about the perfectly portioned tablespoon-size dip scoops ($0.75? Really??) but the service was top notch and the restaurant was super clean.
One of my new favorite places. There aren't many Mediterranean places around here and this one is definitely one of the best. The service was incredibly fast and the people working there couldn't have been nicer. My fiance and I shared a side of garlic potatos which were amazing. She got a "lil" Greek Meatball bowl and I made my own Greek meatball wrap. Will definitely be coming back very soon.
So delicious, fresh, healthy, and flavorful. The restaurant space is always clean- from where the food is served to the tables. No cross contamination. This place is a staple now.
We were craving Cava. But we don’t have any nearby. Our friends recommended Simone’s kitchen. It’s really great. The staff are all pleasant and friendly. The ordering process is fairly straightforward if you know how to order at chipotle. The options are fewer which makes it even easier. We had both chicken bowl and the meatball bowl. Both were super fresh and delicious. The toppings are great too. Highly recommend if you feel like a Mediterranean wrap or bowl.
If you like salad bars/build your own healthy style food you will love this! It is a lovely spin on a healthy food bar but with great ambiance and unique Mediterranean elements like their beet hummus and harissa tofu, almost their whole menu is vegan which is so exciting to try all the combinations and every ingredient is absolutely delicious! I wasn't super hungry and the small bowl was perfect with a side of their soft airy pita, I'll definitely come back for the rest of the menu
Great food for a great price and the staff we're sooo kind. Everything was delicious. I got a falafel wrap and my partner got a bowl. We also got the pomegranate rose lemonade, cardamom tea, and roasted potatoes. Everything was a hit. I'm sure I'll soon be a regular
I loved the lunch I had at Simone's a few weeks ago. The restaurant was open and bright, and the staff were friendly and cheerful. There are a variety of entree options and many choices for vegetarian diners as well. I chose the wrap on this occasion and enjoyed it. However, I am excited to sample a Mezza Bowl next time and try new flavors. There is a good selection of drinks as well as baklava for dessert. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area or shopping in the plaza.
Yum!!! This is my kind of eatery! I’d been hearing good things and decided to give it a try at 5:00 on a Tuesday. No wait to order. I chose the build your own bowl with lettuce, quinoa, tofu, hummus, tzatziki, some yummy avocado spread, pickled cabbage, fresh parsley, kalamatas , and I probably missed a few ingredients. I got the larger bowl and will definitely get two meals out of it. With tip it was only $15 and change. And everything was fresh and delicious and flavorful. All of the staff were super helpful and friendly. The decor is rather basic, but everything seemed spotless and that’s more important anyway. I can definitely see myself coming here a few times a month. Very vegan and gluten free friendly
Viva Somone's! It's like a poke bowl place, but for Mediterranean food. The ingredients are amazing, fresh, delicious. The staff are great. There is zero reason to ever hit fast food again.
Went earlier today & the staff and food were fantastic! My kids and family really enjoyed the food! The folks taking the orders were so gracious, patient and courteous when my order for 5 was getting a bit complicated. I really appreciated them for it! The food was very flavorful! The chicken shawarma had great taste and every topping was absolutely delicious! A great location & we will definitely come again! 10/10 would recommend!

I came in last month after a long and tiring day - the food was great but the customer service was even better. The whole team cheered me up in lots of little ways including my cute new nickname below! I’m not local but if I was I’d be here all the time! Thanks all :)
There's no wonder Simone's just keeps expanding across the Capital Region, this place is fantastic. Everything tastes so fresh and clean, making a bowl or wrap is simple, and all the employees I've interacted with have always been so pleasant. Simone's has found a system that works and has honed it to operate at its finest. Their tofu is some of my favorite around, but what might be my absolute favorite thing at Simone's is the coffee. It is always so nicely balanced with a strong coffee base and excellent ratio of additions. Their current seasonal latte, salted tahini is truly excellent. I love Simone's and I highly recommend!
This is our new Mediterranean spot! The food is fresh, healthy, and delicious! It can get packed at lunch time! I love the pita pockets! They are enough to fill me and packed in pretty good. The staff are friendly too! I would suggest pick up instead of delivery, had some issues with someone not picking up and delivering our order and we waited and waited deciding to just pick it up. We thought their own staff delivered but it’s actually another delivery company. Highly recommend!!!
The service is impeccable! I love service with a smile. The food always hits! I love that you can see right into the kitchen area too. Bathrooms are always clean. Just a great place to eat. In fact, let me put in my shoes now and head on up to Stuyvesant Plaza for some vittles.
So good!!! I got the Mediterranean burrito as a bowl and it was so good. The meat is tender and seasoned, the flavors all worked together nicely. The menu has plenty of choices. The place was clean and inviting, staff were friendly. I'm definitely coming back!
Love that practically anything on their menu can be customized to be made vegan/vegetarian. I always get the Mezza bowl, add lots of greens, lentils (keeps you full for long), rice, tofu, and the roasted potatoes (perfectly seasoned). I also get chicken for protein when I feel like it, and it really is grilled to perfection every single time! Usually, I don’t like going all out on the dips and dressings because all of them have a very overpowering garlic flavor which I do not quite enjoy, so I just get the spicy dill + yogurt and that works just fine for me! Love the pita bread which feels like a fluffy pillow and a perfect addition to the meal overall. My most favorite part though are the fresno peppers that are quite hot, and the asian in me needs exactly that. Also looove the kalamata olives - they have the right amount of acidity to give you that kick in every bite. There’s currently a rose flavored lemonade on the menu and it’s super refreshing, ended up getting it on multiple occasions! Overall, highly recommend eating here, they will not disappoint!
Food was excellent with quite a bit of variety. Unfortunately they say beef is not halal. They could also improve on the seating area but that could be due to large crowd size. Additionally during the checkout you don't get receipt option on the screen and have to ask for the receipt separately.
Food was fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend but one thing bugged me. There's an upcharge for tofu. I really don't get it. I would be much happier if it was just considered a protein like the meat options. Definitely a bummer.
I enjoy this place greatly. Everything I order is always exceptional and fair prices to my knowledge. My only complaint is that I ordered my first dessert which was baklava and the photo used on the website had three of them. Moral of the story 1 small baklava was 3.75 which is a rip off. You aren’t getting all 3, it’s just a photo of three pieces of baklava.

I visited Simone's Mediterranean Restaurant during the lunch rush (11:00 AM to 2:00 PM), and I strongly recommend ordering ahead or being prepared to wait about 30 minutes in line. The open window to the kitchen is a nice feature, as you can see the staff actively preparing food. Unfortunately, my experience with the food was underwhelming. My husband ordered the meatballs, and I got the chicken shawarma. The meatballs were noticeably burnt, and I saw the staff member picking through them to find ones that weren’t as charred. She even commented to another team member at the front that the meatballs looked burnt, and they replied that they’d need to make more. However, I noticed a fresh batch had just been pulled out—and they looked burnt as well. Waiting 30 minutes in line, only to receive food that isn’t properly prepared, is frustrating and unacceptable. The chicken shawarma was just okay, but nothing special. There seems to be inconsistency in quality and serving size. I heard many people asking for a little more. Simone’s has potential, but they need to do better—especially during peak hours when customers have already waited a significant amount of time.
Beautiful restaurant but I spent $33.00 and I thought i was buying real chicken not some processed patty. But an actual chicken.the corn bread was good and I complaints on the Mac and cheese.i bought an add on jumbo wings and they were the most disgusting pieces of fried chicken coming from a black restaurant advertising soul food my feelings are hurt and I will never eat there again.not to mention there were no utensils in the bag after I added them on the kiosk when I made my order.but the nerve of them to have an expensive menu😡😡
Eaten food from this location about 20 times. Today they put yogurt dill sauce instead of tahini on my husbands food. We are exclusively plant based and he has. Avery sensitive stomach, doesn’t have enough time to go back to the restaurant for new food because he gets a short lunch break like most people. We called the restaurant and they’re insisting it’s not dairy and won’t stop trying to gaslight him. The color is white and not the color of tahini (we would know as long term vegans). All they kept saying was no and to taste it. Well we were gaslit into trying it and ofc it’s sour and not at all tahini. They have not refunded him. Will never support this place again. All of this for what when you could’ve just refunded? And my husband is the sweetest human and was being so nice (too nice) on the phone with them. Bless his people pleasing non confrontational heart. Well I’m a hormonal pregnant woman and I’m mad. Do better.
