Inedible prices for the food and service is amazing. Glad I found this place!
Jimmy is the greatest
Great food and clean. Tons of groceries also a lot cheaper then any thing near by. $5.95 for a sandwich with can of Soda and bag of chips. I'll sure be back here soon
Your average corner store on steroids. Tons of options for food and snacks. Well organized, super quick, and has a few spots to sit & eat. Plus the food is great.
Super friendly and helpful guys! Shop is always clean and the food is really good and fresh something for everyone..... great addition to the area!
Jimmy the chef makeS the ABSOLUTE BEST VEGGIE BURGER! In New York!!!!! Hands down!!!!
Great wraps! Great salads! Open 24/7 basically ! Definitely ought to be considered a Chelaea Staple.
Whooooo that grilled sandwich is so amazing……. Grilled fajitas chicken sandwich and Adams choice of smoothies….. love it . Already recommended to my friends and family!!!!!
Actually, best bodega I've ever stumbled upon in NYC. They do everything, all the time, and it's cheap. This wonder is with the visit.
The dude at night, I am blanking his name. But he makes the best thickest sandwiches! I love you when I am drunk!
Great food. Great staff. Great prices
Best deli counter in Chelsea; good sandwiches, reasonable prices, great service
They make very good sandwiches and the customer service is great.
If you want good fresh food in a friendly atmosphere Adam's Marketplace is the spot!
I live down the street great great deli food and all the drinks and snacks you could ever need.
Amazing every time. First or second google review ever but I felt compelled to write one here. OP place (for those that use that terminology)
Heard great things about this place, had to check it out. They did not disappoint, Miguel cooked a great breakfast sandwich. Pasha, & Waili the counter man, I know I misspell someones name. Thank you for your kindness & sweet talk. Will return for the fresh food & variety available.
Best chicken Caesar wrap and so friendly. They also do it breaded instead of grilled. The best anytime of the day they have everything 24/7
We ordered from here via GrubHub and I have to say it was the best veggie burger I've ever had. The avocado and the sauce were absolutely perfect together. Prices were reasonable too!
Love this place! Always gets my order correct. People are nice, great customer service. Jimmy food is awesome! Lol I recommend this place for everyone that's in Manhattan.
So glad to be living on the same block as this deli! Best sandwiches you could ask for at anytime of the night. And Jimmy runs the show and tells you the stories of the neighborhood. Love it!
I was first at the Deli across the street intending to order a quesadilla when the guy at the service told us to go to Adam’s if I want to try a real one. Was already late at night when we arrive at Adam’s. We have ordered a beef Quesadilla. It was huge and delicious. Adam and Jimi were just amazing making us feel really welcome. Fresh food, fresh natural juices and great atmosphere. Totally recommended for a late snack or a fast lunch.
Good quality ingredients all over the store! Everyone in the store was very welcoming! The chicken cordon blu sandwich was A++! Keep spreading love my guys!
I love this place. Everything they whip up is so fresh and delicious. Their customer service is amazing doesn't matter what time of day you go, they are always so welcoming!!
This store has amazing food and great customer service. The workers here are so kind and do a great job in giving you what you want. I highly recommend this deli.
I had the chopped cheese🔥wings & curly fries😮💨check jimmy out🔥🔥
This deli in New York City has everything you need. From Delhi sandwiches to drink that you are familiar with and toilet paper for all your needs. Plus the workers are very nice
Most organized, spotless, and well-stocked deli in Chelsea. The staff is so exceptionally kind.
OMGGGGG! The best food market I have ever been. There is deverse offer! Very kind staff! You can eat very well any time!
This deli is a Bounce verified luggage storage location. My friend and I left our bags here for about 12 hours, and they were very well cared for. The service was a bit on the slow side, but they had a steady stream of customers when we dropped off and picked up. No biggie. Didn't order any food, but they obviously had a wide selection of both prepared foods and grocery items.
My daughter spent last week staying in the neighbourhood as part of a group of university students visiting from Canada. Adam’s Market became their frequent go-to for breakfast and lunch, and my daughter struck up a friendly relationship with a young man who works there. One morning my daughter was quite ill and didn’t go in to get breakfast. This lovely person sent her her usual bagel back with her friend to make sure she was eating and taking care of herself. ❤️ Sure makes a mom feel good to know that there are people like this looking out for their fellow humans. Many thanks to you. The two of you are definitely friends now.
You ever keep going to a certain spot because it just feels a little like home? Well I come here as often as I can, even if I’m on 33rd street I don’t mind the walk if I have time. I love the hospitality, the customer service is great. The guys cooking do an outstanding job, the cashier is really nice and the prices are really good! You can have breakfast for under 5 bucks (you can’t beat that). They don’t have I a card minimum which to me is one of the best perks. Oh and they definitely cater to vegetarians and vegans. I haven’t had the pleasure of trying their juice bar but they have fresh fruits and veggies for sure. If you’re near 8th and 20th, take a moment to drop by here. You will not be disappointed.
These are really great, caring people. Whenever I go, I get the spicy veggie burger with avocado. It's such a delicious deal for 5.95! They make them like they're assembling a work of art. I highly recommend this place for a snack or beverage any time of day or night.
Food is good, fresh and varied..well priced too. Staff are generally friendly and there is a bench if you decide to eat it. Like most places in NYC they deliver, and our orders always came promptly and well made. Cooks will take any specific order you make and of you want a little of this or less of that, they will gladly oblige with a smile on their face.
Great sandwiches and salads with even better service. If you find yourself here after 7pm, ask Jimmy to make you the Sex in the Hamptons specialty. This sandwich won’t disappoint. Glad to call this my go-to neighborhood deli.
was blessed that this place was right next to my hostel, bacon egg and cheese saved my life more than once. good food and great people behind the counters!
Incredible service. Great sandwich with quality meat. Great juices.
Incredible service. Great sandwich with quality meat. Great juices.
Ordered #5 omelette with a fresh juice. The cook was very kind and had no problems changing the bacon for the turkey as requested. The potatoes and toast that came with the omelette were spot on. Overall good experience for my first visit. Food was better than a regular diner. Would highly recommend
We came here every morning for breakfast during our stay in New York a couple of weeks ago. One of the cleanest delis in Manhattan. Staff is always exceptionally nice, and oftentimes refers to their regular customers by name. Prices are very competitive, and the selection outshines most of their competition. Very convenient when you need a bite to eat when doing laundry across the street.
Came here a while back, nice atmosphere and vibe. Chef Jimmy didn't disappoint! There was a young boy as the cashier who was very kind and polite. He made me a delicious fresh smoothie and kept everything sanitary. Will come again, recommend to others.
One of the best late night sandwiches you could ask for. If Jimmy is behind the counter, ask for whatever he can offer and you won’t be disappointed. During the day it’s not too bad but Jimmy is one of the best (and nicest) guys behind the counter. Will always come back here when I visit!
This is for the memories. Used to go here all the time when I was a New School student living in the dorms next door. Loved chatting with the staff and getting my chopped salad or sandwich. A lot of fellow residents and security guards used to frequent it too.
Took a Little stop at this deli to get a refreshing drink. The whole place is a really good vibe and clean everything organized the workers are friendly especially the person who made my drink took his time and asked me about my allergies the smoothie I got tasted phenomenal he gave me many choices to pick out a straw 😇 10/10 I would come back here again
Very convincing place located in the heart of Chelsea with a really great selection of items and very reasonably priced hot/cold sandwiches. For 9.99 I got a veggie burger with all the fixings and a substantial amount of fries. The quality was good and the vegetables on it were fresh. Everything was very hot and I was really pleased! The store was clean, the service was very good as well and they were patient despite me not knowing really how to navigate ordering (it is not difficult, I was just not thinking). I am new to the area and some of my supervisees recommend I check this place out and I was very impressed!
Very nice deli with a good selection for its size. I have only tried prepared, packaged foods and their coffee and bagels with butter, which are very good. Friendly, efficient service that is pleasant with a woman working during the day who is especially helpful, kind, and proficient. Some prices are very reasonable and others have a higher markup, but still not too bad for a corner deli.
Adams Market Place is a premium gem in Manhattan, offering a lot of unique food options as well as the common favorites. The quality is great, with delicious sandwiches and fresh baked goods that fit anyones appetite. The standout feature, however, is the service and welcoming atmosphere. The cashier Jaleel was incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience all the more enjoyable. For anyone seeking a quick yet quality meal in the city, Adam's Market Place is a must-visit!
This deli is such a gem! I just popped in for a smoothie and was blown away by how clean and inviting everything felt. The staff were kind, especially the one who made my drink, he asked about allergies and made sure everything was perfect. Smoothie was excellent. Highly recommend
Visited NYC for a week and this was a highlight of our trip. Go at night and see Jimmy, eat whatever he recommends because it all tastes amazing. Best chicken rolls ever. Don’t believe the bad reviews about the other employees here, we went multiple times during our stay for breakfast too and the staff were polite and friendly. This place welcomes all kinds of people and we witnessed many customers on a first name basis with Jimmy. It was clear he values people and has a kind heart. If you don’t visit here you’re missing out on the best, inexpensive food in town!! Smoothies bang too.
If your visiting NYC you have to come here, it has to be one of the best deli's I have ever been in. The staff is very nice and Jimmy the chef makes the most delicious food, and overall the deli has everything you need. The workers and staff were very nice and kind, the cashier Jaleel helped me find what I needed. If you wanna order something I would recommend the chop cheese when Jimmy is there he makes it the best.

Nice place to get something quick to eat. The server is nice and helpful. The Adam's salad is great because you can create it yourself !
This is seriously my go-to place when ordering late at night.. love that they come through no matter what time.. if only the wait time could be improved on a bit but it's understandable considering other orders, distance, etc.. but overall i appreciate their service!!
The food there is pretty good. Its a good place to come and get something to eat if your in the area.
It's on the northwest corner of a block I've walked along for the better part of 30 years both day and night. I go out of my way to linger longer in Chelsea. My very seed and nature have been mopped and as is all-- eventually runs underground and is taken out into the sea. I say all of that--to say this-with a name as Adam's Market Place one can find and dash with whatever you're looking for as they pride themselves of being a gourmet establishment and as such caters and has anticipated and secured whatever you may want and need. A guarantee must stop if you happen to be going up or down eight ave--and with it's very awning pointing northwest and lighted from the street you'll catch it coming or going from any street corner or geographic location. No need for a compass or GPS. Let the pressed fruit bind you and find you there. Plus it's the only true option for food at most hours and they do take both cash and a variety of regulatory and accepted forms of legal tender.
Just disappointing. I hate hate bbq sauce too so this is inedible. Doesn’t say it comes with any sauce so I wasn’t expecting anything. I understand accidents and things spilling but…

Just had a horrible experience. Tried calling asking for a delivery. Guy was short and rude, they hung up on me and just tried ringing back several times and no answer!!!!
Fair Warning: Be prepared to pack a lot of patience and have adequate time before coming to this Deli and order a sandwich for breakfast. This deli gets packed with NYPD officers coming from across the street and ordering in bulk. For whatever reason, they will prioritize the officers before they get to your order. In other words, you are going to get skipped. The deli guy seems to only be able to make one sandwich at a time from what I have seen. Despite his calm and friendly demeanor, he is already fatigued by the time 7am rolls around. This deli should be a two man operation handling orders with one cashier. The deli guy for some reason likes to cook the bacon at approx 5:30-6am when it is becoming busy. I do not know why but the bacon should be ready by 5am if that. Then he has to clean the grill throughly before taking orders. Which is approx 10 minutes... If you are willing to wait 20 minutes approx for your breakfast sandwich and developed some form of relationship with this deli, then by all means go for it. After all, I think it is the only one open in the area 24 hours. Again I THINK. Large selection of items as well. If you need your sandwich quick and fast to get to work, AVOID THIS PLACE at all cost. It is not worth it and the amount of orders they get is shocking. The neighborhood? A few junkies roaming around. 🤷🏻♂️
Be careful they charge tax on non taxable items,,pay attention. They tried to over charge me by a dollar for the pepperidge farm cookie,,
Food trash customer service is even trasher and they are so expensive for bad quality food RUN!
The slice of cake I ordered had mold on it i noticed before i ate it. Won't go there again
I went late night and I was the only customer in the store. It took the guy 10 minutes to make an terrible sandwich
Rude and disrespectful man making food...his photo is posted on another review. I wouldn’t trust him to make anything for me.
They were 2 hours late on delivery, and when I tried to cancel they refused. Delivered the food ice cold. Will not issue a refund because the order was delivered even though I tried to refuse that as well. Will not order again because they're always "so busy"
Waited 2 hours for my salad and when it finally arrived, the chicken was missing and the greens tasted like it was starting to go bad. Worst food experience in a while.
0 Stars. Ordered an omelet and the veggies were rotten tasted like vinegar. Uneatable. Lost my money. Will never order again from here. Took forever to arrive.
My seamless order just didn’t show up. When I called, they said “5 minutes,” they didn’t even have the courtesy to tell the truth.
They should Fire that Mexican employee who is rude and doesn’t wants to work. The other younger guy was also Rude! Worst customer service ever
Ordered grilled chicken. Got warmed up chicken from a can put on my sandwich. Gross
OVER PRICED SALTY BREAKFAST never order online stores a few blocks away have accurate portions and better customer service Most importantly cheaper quality food
I bought a box of Annie's Mac and Cheese from here and discovered maggots that were in the box in the pot of water when I went to cook it. Will not be returning.
REALLY bad service!! RUDE on the phone and at the location! Not worth your time or money!! DONT bother, VERY inconvenient!
Placed a drizly order from this location. It never arrived and the contact number they list is not in service. So i walked all the way over and they told me that my order was never accepted because one item I ordered they didn't have. Well if it was a never accepted why was I charged money and my drizly says if an item isn't available to either fill it with something similar or to call me, not to cancel the order. When i tried to question this and ask for otpions the guy at the counter was very rude and walks away from me
All employees were rude and unprofessional from the cook to the cashier. Had a simple order of pastrami and two cheeses. Nothing else on it. This said three times. Get home and there is mustard on it. Calmly walk back state what is wrong with my order and ask for my money back. Cashier (short and pudgy salt /pepper hair) says, "well take it back to who made it and don't play you ate half of it already" He says this without even looking at it. So, I open it and show him a tiny bite had been taken off but the rest was entact. Again, I tell him what is wrong with it and tell him I want my money back, please. All three start speaking in another language as he gives me 10$ (order was more than that bc I asked for ex-extra cheeses. But to avoid blowing a gasket I took the L). The younger guy who is sometimes at the register sometimes cook. Says, Bye Bye after I tell cashier there won't be a next time, after he says "And next time...". Definitely won't be a next time...FO!
If you like an attitude served with your trashy food, this is the place. People behind the counter behave as if this is Peter Lugers. We used to recommend all of our hostel guests to go there. Never again.
HORRIBLE HOSPITALITY SERVICE -_- I ordered a seamless delivery at 6 am before my 7 am shift. My order was scheduled to be at my job no later than 615 am. I get a call at 615 from a hotel that my food is there; I call the restaurant and the gentleman over the phone is telling me I do not know my own work address and delivery guy is super smart. What really disappoint me was the fact the guy was trying to tell me he is right and i am wrong; and kept ignoring the question if they were going to get my food from the wrong address and bring it to my correct address and he simply said called seamless honey. I truly did not want to start my morning with this horrible customer service- so I did call seamless- Oliver the agent (was super helpful) and I explained to Oliver the story and he said I have to call the restaurant to hear both sides of the story's- I said go right ahead but I warn you Oliver that ridiculous man over the phone is going to tell you they are right and I am wrong. Oliver called me back within 5 minutes and the first thing he said was "you were absolutely right about those people" . Then Oliver told me that I should definitely right a review about this people who do not understand the concept of comprise or customer service. Do not order online at this place!!! If you want to deal with someone telling you that they are better than you when you are supporting their business- don't even bother!
I used their luggage deposit service through the app. They requested cash and I paid it. I found out later that the same amount was paid from my credit card. When I talked to them over the phone, the guy was really rude and refused to pay back to me. The response was like "Do whatever you like, we don't do anything." I think they are really dishonest and bad.
This place is horrible. They take your orders on seamless or deliver.com then they don’t never answer the phone. They will show up 3 hrs later with your food after you canceled it or the next day at sum random time. Both seamless and delivery.com have tried to call them and they will pick up and hang up. It’s a joke- DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Also not clean or wearing masks!
I had a horrible experience. As I waited for my food a rat ran across my foot. The people that work at this establishment reacted as it was normal. When I asked to speak to management or owner. The cook was very rude. First he tried to ignore me . I remain presisted and he started yelling at me . I never experienced such horrible customer service.
Tried to get a late night food delivery and the place ignored the order. When I called to check on it they lied. Would never spend any more money at a rude and distrustful place. There is a better deli 2 blocks south on 8th Ave. Fresher food, better staff and open 24/7. 8th Ave gourmet Deli near 17th St.
The staff are a part of the establishment and should conduct themselves as if the business was theirs as well. When you're rude to customers or workers who must serbser your business you set a negative tone for the business as a whole! Jimmy needs to be more respectful to everyone who comes into this place. Very nasty individual. ...
I ordered on uber eats and they canceled my order , I was at 42 bryant park and they said its too far the place driving is 7 minutes away whoever you have as night staff is unprofessional and inconsiderate. The delivery person said it was too far when it wasn't. Thats not 1 mile.
This is the worst place to do business and order food. As a dasher I tried to place an order in this store they are racist and sexist and refused to serve me. I had to cancel a customers order and deny a customer the opportunity to get their food. Please do not shop here are they treat women customers badly here!!!
TERRIBLE DELIVERY SERVICE!! DON’T EVER ORDER FROM THEM!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR ORDER HAVE YOU WAITING FOR HOURS AND THEN WHEN YOU CALL TGEY TELL YOU 20 MINUTES EVERY TIME!! THE FOOD GETS TO YOU COLD AND THEN THEY EXPECT A TIP!! GRUBHUB AND SEAMLESS SHOUKD TAKE THEM OFF THE WEBSITE TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!
Came back to this place before Christmas. I decided to try it again because they sell this overpriced ginger drink that helps with overall health, and with the flu, RSV & Covid on the rise, I’d rather be safe than sorry. I purchased the drink from them on 3 occasions. First 2 occasions I was given the wrong change by a noticeable amount. So I made sure to pay attention the 3rd time I purchased. And when I mentioned that it was the 3rd time getting the wrong change, the owners son ( who smokes cigarettes all day and then goes behind the counter to touch things) yells out “ are you really complaining over 1 penny!? 1 cent” I asked him to repeat himself and he did. So I told him it was actually 47 cents. And if they took 47 cents from every paying customer with their items already being overpriced then they are literally robbing people. Also Some of the people who take your money behind the counter will address the white customers before the black ones. Stood at the counter for 8 mins waiting to be rung up for one item which is super overpriced while white customers walked in and out with their items. This happened 5/12/2021 around 2 PM. Cashier was a woman. Never seen her before. Usually have a decent experience with the older male that works there and another young woman. The others give you a vibe that they're doing you a favor by selling you anything.
They tried to robbed me last night. I was with my friend and we bought two beers and the cashier charged my card for $18. I checked my bank account when I left and I was shocked. I went to the market back and asked him how much is each beer. both of them was $8. Please be careful when you go to this market. Always check the prices and your bank account, otherwise they might charge you twice more.
Didn’t get a chance to take her name but the lady at the cash register has a serious people problem. She usually has an attitude for whatever reason but if you can’t deal with People why accept a customer service job? At the end of the day respect is respect and customers should feel comfortable enough to come into a store. Their staff have to tighten up and remember that the customers do know how to come and do things such as give reviews so great customer service is everything. Having 1 bad day out the week or so is fine but having 5 bad days out of 7 days ... hmmm? Might not be the best type of work for you perhaps?
Ordered through seamless.com and the worst service began there. Upon ordering I called the deli to make sure everything was going to be correct plus I didn’t like pickles. I added chips to my order and removed the pickles. They a knowledge the changes and continued with the order making. I waited a fair amount and it’s now been ten minutes past the due time of arrival. To my surprise the order came incorrect missing the chips and they gave me extra pickles -_-. As frustrating as this was I tried to eat my food and look another surprise the food was burnt and tested old. The cheesecake I ordered was falling apart and it tasted old as well. I called about 9 times no lie to finally get an answer to all this and when the person picked up he asked for my address and stated to me don’t call us again and hung up. Wasted my time money and patience on these people. Take it from me don’t make the same mistake. HORRIBLE PLACE!!! BEWARE!!!
The kings of unfulfilled orders. And they have the balls to call you upset that you had to go out of your way to cancel through grubhub, not the fact that they cannot deliver per their own agreement. That was the first time. Anytime you actually need them say midnight to 6am, aka prime time, they are gone. Good luck getting anything - I’ve been there in person and they will then deliver, but pretend to be dead otherwise. There’s a reason the rating is low so until they fix it, avoid
The cashier, an elderly lady, is extremely rude! We ordered a smoothie and it appears that she wants to throw something while making it, implying that she dislikes her job or does not want to take our order. This does not only happen once. That was so rude! Nasty! Her expression is awful, as if she does not care how the customer feels. Not good!
DO NOT STORE YOUR LUGGAGE HERE USING BOUNCE. When I dropped off my luggage at this place, the staff showed zero care about my personal belongings. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and left my stuff there anyways. 10 mins later I walked back because I had a bad feeling and they left ALL MY SUITCASES AND BAGS in the middle of store. Anyone could have easily stolen my luggage.
If i could give a zero/10 I would. The woman behind the counter is nasty and they will refuse to fix their mistakes. I ordered a breakfast burrito with a side of home fries and i paid extra for hot sauce. The recipe said side of home fries and they decided they wanted to ignore that and I stead put it into my burrito. So I picked up my order from the store and got home just to notice that my order was wrong. I went back to the store and told her that my order was wrong and she proceeded to tell me that everything was in the burrito and that she instructed the cooks to put it in my burrito on purpose even though the paper says the home fries was on the SIDE. She refused to have my food remade and basically told me it is what it is. So I would NEVER EVER recommend this place to anyone.
Too expense. They charge more than what’s listen on items. It’s not like it’s close either $3.45 beer is $7.00 at the register. It would be one thing if they were upfront but they aren’t. It feels like the cashier just charges what he feels like to see what folks will pay. I would just go across the street. The deli there may not have as much inventory but it’s honest at least.
Not good!

BEWARE!!!
