The steak platter was really good! Hummus is nice, beef was good. Nice place to grab food, or come if you somewhere around but to go special there again I will not)

A small place with pleasant music. The service was good: the staff was friendly, willing to help with the choice and give the best advice. The waiting time for an order was minimal. 👍The menu has everything you need - breakfast, falafel, platters, salads. I tried the lamb platter ($14.95 + tax) - it was delicious, a big portion, you can take it for two. 💲The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products and the portions. Darna Falafel is well worth a visit. I will definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing… I would say it’s more of a takeout restaurant than a dine-in experience. I took the lamb platter with 2 extra falafels, and it was more than perfect! The falafel might be the best I ever had, and the lamb was so crispy, savoury and delightful! I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant! 10/10 ❤️

Hellz yea! This place will absolutely scratch the falafel itch you are having. The platters are also very good with and will leave you feeling full but not painfully stuffed. I would absolutely recommend checking out Darna if you are around and maybe even try their juices and smoothies.

So delicious! I loved their unique take on the tried and true falafel pita. Their falafel wrap is filled with an amazing assortment of spices- mouthwatering! So good, filling and healthy too. The tea was yummy, the soup also delicious. Plus other people's food looked good too! And I was looking 🙂 Friendly service, nice vibe- not a lot of seating but cozy. Fast service. Overall nice spot!!!

I just wanted to take more recent menu pricing photos as the prices seem to have gone up in the past 7 months. THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE HIDDEN GEM! the freshest most delicious food ALWAYS! I’m on a personal journey to try everything this place has on the menu BECAUSE EVERY PLATE IS A CLEAN PLATE CLUB MEMBER. The juices VALID. Smoothies VALID. Sandwiches SMACK. CHIPOTLE MAYO AMAZING. fries ??? SOOO GOOD no joke the breading is so amazing. PRICES SO DECENT especially for being located in cobble hill. THIS IS A MUST TRY FOLKS NO REGRETS FOUND HERE. only 5 stars bc they don’t have 6 type of place okay!?? when i’m not here i crave it. hope this helps. that’s the chicken platter pictured w a side ciabatta roll and 2 extra chipotle mayo. (the platter also came w tziki and pita.)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! Their skirt steak sandwich is delicious and keeps me coming back over and over again. Their Cobb salad is excellent as well with tons of avocado, turkey bacon, chicken and a yummy honey mustard. There’s a little outdoor seating area where you can sit and watch the world go by on the sidewalk and everyone who works there is always super friendly. You can’t go wrong here!

Good sandwich and hummus platter, the price is really fair. The pita bread was a bit hard, not fresh. The food took really long to come out, about 30 minutes for something I normally expect to be quick.

Their wraps are great. I recommend the eggs benedict if you come for breakfast/brunch. The juices are good too and I recommend the hangover juice. They have a few seats outside but nothing to shelter you from wind, snow or rain. The staff is quick and friendly.

Had to wait 15 min for a to-go falafel sandwich , which was good, not great. Others seemed to be getting annoyed by slow service too. Staff seemed to be in their own world for this visit .

I genuinely want to love Darna Falafel, because the food is consistently excellent. That’s what makes this experience so disappointing. While the owner—whom I’ve met several times—has always been pleasant, the same cannot be said for the opening and kitchen staff. On multiple visits, the customer service has been openly rude and dismissive, with no effort toward basic politeness or acknowledgment. The restaurant is also frequently not open at its posted hours. Each time I’ve arrived, I’m met with the same response—an abrupt “we’re closed”—followed by complete disregard, even as other customers arrive and are treated the same way. There’s no explanation, no courtesy, and no attempt at communication. I regularly come from the city specifically to eat here, which makes this especially frustrating. Great food can only carry an establishment so far; consistency, professionalism, and respect for customers matter just as much. Unfortunately, the service has made it increasingly difficult to justify returning, despite how good the food is.
