Absolutely loved my visit! The space is beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated the perfect spot to relax and enjoy something sweet. The drinks and pastries were incredible, fresh, and clearly made with care. The presentation alone was stunning, and everything tasted just as amazing as it looked. Jennifer and Alberto were both so welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience feel warm and personal. Their kindness and attention to detail really set this place apart. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a charming atmosphere and delicious treats. I’ll definitely be back!
Had an amazing experience here! My vanilla latte was excellent and the pistachio croissant was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly baked. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the shop itself is very cute. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!
I recently had a great experience at Maman Cobble Hill, where I enjoyed a nice coffee and pastry. The customer service was exceptional, particularly notable being Jen's kindness and welcoming demeanor. I look forward to returning.
Jennifer is by far the most knowledgeable, kind and welcoming person at maman cobble hill. Makes walking into maman worth it! Also has amazing latte art skills!
I had a latte and a slice of quiche on a snowy Sunday and it was just what I needed. The cafe is so cosy and the latte was so good! It felt like home. ☺️
We can't praise enough the joy it was working with Ana on our baby shower. At the event, which ran perfectly, the staff was amazing. What lovely women to work with. Thank you so much for helping us plan a wonderful event.
This is an adorable and affordable spot in the neighborhood to grab an awesome coffee and incredible food. Papa's Breakfast Bowl fixed things inside of me that i didn't know were wrong. Amanda gave great service at the counter and the rest of the staff were super friendly and contributed to a welcoming and relaxing morning for my friend and I !!
My favorite coffee spot in the neighborhood!I go most mornings, and everyone there is super sweet, remembers me by name, and the food, coffee, pastries are all amazing. Jen and Beto are always the best remembering my order and they make the busiest days go smoothly. 10/10 recommend my favorite coffee spot in the area
I’m at Maman several times a week. The coffee, the food, the staff — all consistently great. Jenn is incredible. She keeps everything running, remembers everyone, and somehow manages to be warm, calm, and on top of it all at once. She makes the whole place feel welcoming and held together, even during the busiest rush
Wayyyy overpriced. But the service was very good. Amanda has taken care of me almost each visit... My quiche was a bit undercooked but have no complaints about the food in general! So good! The pastry chefs aren't level artisans.
I love Maman’s — their menu changes every now and then, which keeps it exciting, and their coffee drinks and pastry selection are always fresh and delicious. You can really taste the butter in the pastries; even simple things like their biscuit with plain butter are amazing. I also love their salted tahini latte. I’ve tried their breakfast items too, and they’re really good. I like that they have all the options — whether you just want coffee and a pastry, breakfast/brunch, or even lunch. The decor and ambiance are really cute, perfect for brunch, and the servers are so sweet. I even bought one of their tiny teacup decor pieces — I use it as a ring holder on my nightstand and it’s so cute. I just wish they had a Long Island location, since I don’t work in the city anymore.
We booked the back room at Maman for a school committee lunch and meeting, and it truly checked all the boxes. The location was convenient for families across Brooklyn, the private room was the perfect size, and the setup allowed us to have a productive, note-taking meeting without feeling rushed or crowded. The food and service were an added bonus — consistently excellent, as always. Love Maman and everything it stands for.
Had an everything croissant with salmon. It wasn't bad. But then had a pastry, and it was really amazing. I think I expected more from the croissant and less from the pastry and was proven wrong both times 😂. And of course the coffee is really good, you can tell the baristas there known their stuff. Bonus tip : their machine is a disguised La Marzocco
Love this place for the fact that they didn't turn it into a workspace. Usually you go into other cafes and there is silence, all the tables are occupied and one person is working at each of them. And there you feel like you're in a library. But with this cafe I have a different feeling! I like to meet friends here. I usually order an almond milk latte, it's quite tasty. The pastries are good too, especially in the morning.
I had such a great experience thanks to Alberto at maman! From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming, friendly, and made me feel like a valued customer. You can tell he really cares about the work he does. His barista skills are seriously impressive too. My latte was smooth, perfectly balanced, and honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Definitely coming back soon!
UPDATE: Came to this location again with a group of friends. It was a pleasant experience once again, even though we were a big group. Let’s start by saying the aesthetics of this place is beautiful!! I They have pretty unique coffees and I wanted to give them a try but they brought the wrong one so I just took it. Pastries were really good and the brunch menu seemed delicious. I will be coming back to give that brunch menu a try. I got a pick from my friend’s order and it was delicious.
Great little French cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, serving up amazing pastries and coffee. The interior and exterior of the building are beautifully decorated and provides a lovely ambiance while dining. Inside is more suitable for smaller dining parties but you can have a larger group outdoors. You can also find Maman merchandise such as tea cups, cook book, teas, etc. for purchase here. The overnight oats with fruit was very satisfying and filling. The breakfast sandwich was delicious but the cornmeal bun was quite tough. We would definitely recommend here for a lovely breakfast or brunch.
The good thing about Maman is that at every location, the pastries taste the same. We come here from time to time to get some coffee and a few scones for takeout. The cheddar and jalapeño scone and the goat cheese scone are delicious. I will also get the banana bread which is good, but I have had better elsewhere. The cookies are also pretty delicious and I enjoy the Martha Stewart kitchen sink cookie. It’s standard pricing, roughly $5 for a cookie or scone. There is nothing too special about the latte and truly depends on the barista. Overall it’s a pretty busy place with indoor seating. Probably best for grab and go. They are also on the inkind app which is a huge plus if you use it. That’s probably why we frequent the place as often as we do.
This beautiful little coffee shop gets 10/10 for atmosphere. The chocolate pistachio pastry that I had was tasty, but not very fresh ... I don't know if it was from the day before or if I just visited a bit late in the day. I had a flat white to drink which was excellent . And I loved the pretty china that the food and drink was served in.
Just okay. I was excited to try on a beautiful morning and ordered the pumpkin pie latte, lightly sweetened and the green goddess veggie sandwich. Latte was okay, underwhelming. Sandwich had barely any filling and was mostly dry bread and arugula. They definitely excel on presentation but that’s where it ended for me :( . Can’t say I would suggest or return.
