I went to get the “Winnie the Pooh” Ice cream, but ended up ordering waffle fries and chicken fingers. Although I really liked the ice cream, what really won my heart was those waffle fries. I wish I had taken a picture. They were delicious! The chicken was pretty good too. The place in itself is cute and it’s in a beautiful location by the seaport. Their ice cream creations are fun and worth the trip.
We have been going to Mister Dips for a few years now as it has become a staple for us while visiting the South Street Seaport area. Their food is always made to order and consistently great. The waffle fries are always crisp and not greasy. The fried chicken tenders and hot honey is a must have if you are in the mood for fried food. The burgers are well portioned, think Shake Shack, but bigger. Their boozy drinks are always rotating and a must have for a frosty treat!
It’s actually such good ice cream do the price. I also appreciate that they know it can get messy so they give you a catch cup for your cone. But great flavors
Fun little shop at Seaport and one of the more affordable spots at Pier 17. The burgers are tasty, but I mostly come for the ice cream. They offer seasonal flavors, and it usually doesn’t get too crowded. Plus, the views around here are beautiful.
Great ice cream cones! Cool flavors and great ice cream for a hot day. We came at 3pm and had to wait a bit because they were busy. A little pricy but premium for the location and all the toppings. Would come back!
great burger place in seaport! pricing is a bit high but the views from sitting inside make it worthwhile. the food was really great and their impossible burger can be made vegan by removing cheese and mayo and opting for a lettuce wrap for the bun. the staff working there were very knowledgeable and accommodating. highly recommend checking out! they also have ice cream and alcohol-based shakes.
I have had this place on my go-to list ever since I saw an old episode of "Best thing I ever ate" on the Food Network many years back, highlighting one of their ice cream cones. I finally got the chance to check them out this past Labor Day Weekend. Even though the place is small, it is hard to miss on Pier 17. When I walked in, I could see that the restaurant was very cute and inviting. Even though they sell several food and drink items (including alcohol), I still went for one of their specialty dipped cones. I ordered the Chocolate PBD, which tasted really good, and I was happy they provided a dripstick for the cone since the ice cream can melt fast on a hot day. The service is fast and friendly and the prices are pretty reasonable for this location. They also have a good amount of seating indoors and a few tables for outside. After my first experience here, I could see what all the hype was about this place, and I will be sure to drop by again the next time I am in the area.
I just had a burger, waffle fries, chocolate shake, and a coke to drink. The food was excellent! The burger was made just the way I wanted it! It also had tomatoes, which made the burger taste just right. The only thing was the cost of the meal it was $28 or this restaurant would get a much higher score. Still this was an excellent place to eat and I will definitely be back! 89
Some of the best fast food I've had in a long time. Everything was fresh and crisp. I had yo sample everything on the menu and it was ALL good lol a great place for a date idea as it's on the boardwalk. Parking is difficult but possible if your driving like me. Overall it was worth the 30 min drive here :-)
It’s a very cute space located on the corner with fun pop colors and friendly workers. They have a limited menu but all of the items are uniquely curated and very picture worthy. You can choose to dine indoors or outdoors next to the water and a beautiful view of the boat. The only downside is that the thin mint ice cream flavor does not come with the cone and the flavors are just basic but the decorations are over the top.
Not sure why I was expecting to be a little disappointed, but couldn’t have been less happy with everything. This location was slammed close to closing after a rooftop movie above let out and the staff were extremely calm and very friendly. The quantity and quality of the food I received was above the price point. Atmosphere fun and a little cheeky. Simple menu with still enough variety for everyone. Burger was well made and the bun was the kind of soft bun you want on a burger like this. Unique ice cream dessert options that I’m looking forward to trying next time. They’re doing great work!
Good food, chicken tenders were super good and drenched in their sauces which were so good. Fries also drenched in their cheese sauce. Burger was good, kinda small but nonetheless yum. What blew me and my boyfriend out of this world was the soft serve ice cream definitely wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. We can't stop talking about it. Can't wait to try another flavor!! The shakes are ok, kinda warm and not cold enough. However, the ice cream is fantastic. The burgers are Great and the waffle fries are amazing. Truly surprised at how good the food was. Can’t wait to go again. The waffle fries had a mild spice that was different but great. Can’t wait to try the chicken.
Walked in here for the first time. Ended up dining in. The experience was okay. Food was freshly made upon ordering, and their ice-cream is delicious. If you have a sweet tooth this place is great to try! Pricey but worth a try.
Cute, fun ice cream! They're definitely pricey but worth it to eat something sweet while sitting on the pier. 7/10 sweetness. They come with a drip catcher so that was convenient. The strawberry ice cream tasted better than the banana one, in my opinion.
Only tried the ice cream here. Both times I got the buttermint crunch on a cone and it hits every single time. It also comes with a cone protector that helps when the ice cream melts and drips so it doesn’t get all over your hand. Would recommend if you’re at the pier and looking for something sweet. They also have burgers there too which I’d like to try next time.
The place is very nice inside and outside, the atmosphere is nice too. I tried the non-alcoholic Mojito and it was delicious, I imagine that with alcohol it must also be very good. It was perfect for the heat it's getting. At the time of placing my order, there was no one at the window, so I had to wait about 10 minutes to be taken care of, which caused me a little stress, but for everything else, it was pleasant. I paid $7.57 including tax.
I love chicken fingers and fries. One of my go to snacks I always enjoy. This was my first time here and the food was pretty good. The food was made to order and tasted super fresh without being too greasy. The frozen lemonade was delicious and had an addicting tartness that makes u want more. Finally made it back to try the ice cream! It was amazing! The photo speaks for itself! The staff were super nice and friendly!
It’s not so much about the food as it is the vibe. I mostly regret only getting an ice cream and not a burger as well. I’ve heard great things about the burgers here so if I come back I’ll be sure to get one! I got a dio cone summer patriot (which is there seasonal flavor). The dip itself was solid, I liked that it was flavorful and the flavor did come through. The ice cream itself was nothing special and the dip itself was kind of waxy which was unfortunate. Solid place, great vibes, average NYC prices (around $8 for an ice cream).
It was nice…you literally have 4 minutes to eat your soft serve before it melts all over you! I see why they have that little plate underneath. The vibe of the restaurant reminded of old school burger joints but with a modern feel. It was good, nothing mind blowing, I may go back and get a plain cone, but why?!? I’d love the try to food next time
Was gonna give it one star but once upon a time when it first opened it was actually good. I went here again about two weeks ago and the food was absolute trash 🗑️ The fries tasted old like they didn’t change the oil, it was hard and crunchy and dry. The chicken tenders were salty and over cooked and to top it off a can soda is almost $4. They had two guys working there and they can’t cook at all! Customer service was way off as well…What a rip off. I will not be eating here again thanks!
