Atmosphere is amazing. Def make reservations as it gets packed and it's not a huge place. You are definitely going for the ambiance and the drinks. The appetizers are great. Grilled octopus and the truffle fries def recommend. The filet mignon was done medium when asked for medium rare so def ask for rare prob get it right. The owner took care of it right away. Definitely recommend sticking to the apps though. And get ready to drop some cash. The drinks are going to run you $25 on avg. Apps and Entrees with some drinks we spent over $300. In the end def was worth it as the wife loved the cocktails esp the Beauty and th Beast and Cinderella.

WOW, what an experience!! This review might be a little long, but please stick around while I tell you all the reasons you should host your next event here :) I found this place while searching for restaurants that go all out for Halloween to match the vibe of the bridal brunch I was planning — “RIP to her last name // She found her boo.”  The entire experience, from the initial event inquiry to the time my group left at the very end, was nothing short of incredible. The planning process was seamless — the owner’s quick responses, attention to detail, and genuine desire to help elevate our event were so appreciated! My group and I had the best time — we took amazing photos, enjoyed phenomenal food and drinks. The cocktails definitely stole the show! Every aspect of this restaurant is so thoughtfully curated. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant or its owner. Thank you for making this bride feel so special! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Come to this place for my birthday brunch and it was magical and then again yesterday for Halloween brunch with my girlfriend. We had signature eggs Benedict, salmon, and lobster. Very fresh and lovely. Their signature drinks are crazy, and right now they’re Halloween themed. Very well thought of. The Management is so sweet and friendly and welcoming. If you wanna feel the Halloween spirit go ASAP. Also, even if Halloween is done, they are always on theme and it just feels like an experience being there.

Sveta is THE SPOT if you want to feel extra and celebrated. ✨ From the florals to the cocktails, every detail WOWS. We tried the La Boubou (Holy Smoked Mezcal) and Beauty and the Beast! Both looked and tasted amazing. Almost every table was celebrating a birthday, and the energy was contagious. Perfect place to make any occasion UNFORGETTABLE!!!

I had such a wonderful birthday outing at Sveta. My girlfriends and I came here for brunch this past Saturday, and we had an amazing time. The location wasn't difficult to get to, and the parking wasn’t stressful, as we parked in a nearby parking garage. After a two-minute walk, my guest and I were welcomed into this whimsical and lovely atmosphere. Both the interior and exterior had delicately placed flowers, as well as beautiful paintings and figurines. The vibrant colors and personalized details were quite enchanting. Our waiter Antun, was very kind, patient, and attentive. He fully embodied the heart behind this place and provided excellent service. Once we submitted our orders, the food came out quickly. Some of the brunch items we ordered were the Lobster Roll with French Fries (Delicious), Sveta’s French Toast (Amazing, definitely get it!), New York Breakfast (Tasty), and I ordered the Lavender Lemonade (Light & Refreshing). They even had an in-house photographer who captured some special moments. At no point did we feel rushed. Overall, our entire experience was great. If you’re looking for an exceptional brunch experience, this is one you won’t want to miss.

My friends took me to Sveta for a birthday brunch, and it was such a beautiful experience! The place itself is gorgeous and uniquely decorated, with a very cool drink display. The food was absolutely delicious – authentic Ukrainian dishes that were full of flavor. Everything was just so good, and I will definitely be coming back again! 🌸🥂✨

I absolutely loved this place! So cute! I’d love to come back for brunch too! Went for dinner and got a bunch of delicious apps - coconut shrimp, Ukrainian Borscht soup, roasted bone marrow, braised short ribs, and cauliflower florets. I loved it all!!!

This place is Enchanting, so pretty so creative. Service was great! His recommendations were spot on good. My favorite to try were the drinks. Salmon was delicious and shrimps were crispy and also delish! 😋 . Ugh I want to be back. Ou and clean! Definitely recommend going to celebrate birthday, date night, any occasion.

Brunch at Sveta honestly feels like stepping into a fairytale. The moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by gorgeous floral décor that makes the whole space feel romantic and cozy. The cocktails are truly the star here – whimsical, creative, and presented like something out of a storybook. Not only do they look stunning, but they taste amazing too. The food was just as impressive: flavorful, beautifully plated, and portions that left us perfectly satisfied. Service was warm and attentive, and the overall vibe is a perfect mix of classy and fun. Whether you’re planning a date, celebrating with friends, or just want to treat yourself, this spot is a must in the West Village. Highly recommend making a reservation because this place deserves every bit of the hype!

Worst dining experience I have ever had. The service was awful and took 1.5 hours for us to get our food. Our waiter did not check on us at all after reviving our drinks/food and we had to repeatedly call for him in order to get a refill of water which would then take another 30 minutes to receive. Our entire dining experience was well over 3 hours for 2 people due to the poor service and extremely long wait times of receiving our food and drinks. We went to celebrate my birthday and let the waiter know upon sitting down, and they did nothing for us even though we saw a couple other tables also celebrating and were getting sung to and getting their desserts. At the end of the night after we paid we had to ask if they did anything for birthdays and the waiter looked at us dumbfounded like it was obvious that they do and so we told him once again that we were celebrating my birthday and he just threw a dessert down and didn’t sing to me like the other tables got. Not to mention we were seated in a tight secluded corner table away from everyone where the table was shoved up against the bar with no room to move at all. The drink presentation was very cool but not worth the price for how little you get. Food was just OK. Overall, I would not recommend this place based on the service and rudeness of the waiter alone. We were given zero attention and yet still forced to pay an automatic 18% gratuity in addition to a 5% operating fee. I would give this place 0 starts if I could.
