Avis sur Coccinella Albiate
Great for breakfast and desserts, wide selection of desserts and more.
Small but well-decorated. Excellent cleanliness and friendly staff. I go there often for breakfast and it's always great!
My absolute favorite place of all time. The mini brioches are hard to find during the day, but unfortunately they're available because they sell out like hotcakes. It's impossible for me to pass by there and not stop. When I want to treat myself, I go there.
Excellent pastries My favorite breakfast every Saturday and Sunday They don't serve you at the table; they give you a tray.
Always excellent pastries and absolutely innovative cakes
Really good croissants and cappuccino, as well as a wide selection of pastries. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.
Possibly one of the best pastry shops I've ever been to. It's beautiful and I had a truly wonderful time. The atmosphere is so lively and welcoming, and the aromas are intoxicating. All the pastries are wonderful: the croissants are amazing, the coffee is delicious, including the freshly squeezed juice, the desserts are fantastic, and the staff is incredibly kind. If you ever find yourself in Albiate, go there because it's definitely worth a coffee and a dessert.
A charming pastry shop in the village of Albiate, where it's always a pleasure to stop for breakfast or a snack at any time of day. The products are made on-site, are authentic, and incredibly fresh. The decor is beautiful and gives off a "green" feel. Lots of delicious, handcrafted treats, sweet treats to give as gifts, and fresh cakes perfect for any occasion. Friendly staff. The place is immaculately clean and fresh. I'll definitely be back!
Best ice cream around
A very good pasticceria and coffee shop. Very nice place to wonder round and nice shops
The products are almost all very good, but they don't really care much about their customers (in my opinion, obviously). I've never seen a smile, and the girl at the cash register yawned in front of me. Plus, they always seem annoyed when you ask them what they have on offer. It's a shame, because, as I said, the desserts are good.
We had a latte and a brioche at 9:00 a.m., and unfortunately the brioche wasn't very soft: it was hard and didn't seem fresh at all. Since I was with someone, I didn't say anything to avoid any fuss... It's a shame, because the pastry inside is also beautiful. I hope it was a coincidence...
It's a coffee shop, ice cream parlor, and artisanal pastry shop. There's a very limited selection of gelato flavors, and they're served sparingly...so the portions are tiny. The pastries are average; they're not terrible, but they're nothing exceptional either. I've definitely had better. The place itself is nice, but the staff definitely needs to rethink their customer service and welcoming techniques. Everyone's very unsmiling and almost seems annoyed when serving. They often talk to each other while looking at the customers sitting at the tables... Not at all! You can't improvise in this job, and I think the owners should be much more careful about how their employees interact, or even don't interact, with customers! They certainly don't make you want to come back! In fact, they make you feel like you're not there!
Inside, it's small but tidy. Unfortunately, the croissants we ordered for breakfast were thin and practically without any filling (see photo). We ordered them with Nutella, but it was a shame it was generic hazelnut spread, not the aforementioned one. We threw them away after the initial bites with the "filling." The coffee, however, was really good. The prices are high, especially since we ordered takeout and not dine-in. It's a shame, as the presentation promises much more.
Terrible service: the girl with glasses is extremely rude. The way they act is as if we were buying without paying and they were giving us something for free. For the price, the quantity of products is truly minimal, but what's most disappointing is the attitude and service, which truly leave a lot to be desired.
The service at this restaurant is terrible: they're very arrogant and rude. For the price, they serve a very small amount of ice cream, which is outrageous. Furthermore, the people serving, especially the girl with glasses, who is short and a bit stout, are very arrogant. Their behavior has made us decide not to go there anymore, because many times I've even paid for an extra coffee. They're incompetent and they add an extra coffee to the order: truly outrageous. And today I went to get a croissant to go: the girl with glasses, in addition to being arrogant, as if I owed her money, gave me a very cold and empty croissant, while the rest of us pay like everyone else.
I always shop at Kocinela, but there's one thing I don't like: the girl with glasses, a bit plump, is very rude. I like Kocinela's products, but the arrogance makes you angry and puts you off coming back. Unfortunately, today I bought a croissant to take home, not to eat there, and when the girl with glasses made it for me, once I got home I noticed that it was cold and practically without pistachios. The gesture made me feel bad because it seems done on purpose. I don't understand why she behaves like this, and it's not the first time: it always comes across as arrogant and rude 😕. I'm pregnant and this really bothered me.
I had an ice cream at the bar, and I have to say it was good quality. The problem arose when a large, almost three-foot-tall, unmuzzled dog approached me (I'm not particularly fond of dogs) and occasionally ended up under my table. When I mentioned this to the bar staff at the end of the evening, they told me it was a public place and anyone could enter. This was a condescending and arrogant response to a young man who had expressed a concern. It's a shame because the ice cream was good, but I don't think I'll be back.
A morning to forget. I woke up late for various reasons. I went to the Coccinella bar at 12:00 for a cappuccino and a croissant. Closing time was 12:30. They were already mopping. When I first said "good morning," no one answered. Anyway, the cappuccino was good, and the croissant. I asked for an empty one to take away. When I got home, the croissant was 1-2 days old. Was it done on purpose? Definitely. Lost a customer unnecessarily? Yes. It's a shame. I've always had a good experience.
Dear Travelers, for Christmas, I was given the "marron glace's de' la coccinella" panettone. On New Year's Eve, we decided to eat it as a dessert before the midnight toast. The surprise was, to put it mildly, embarrassing. When it opened, an unpleasant, strong, burnt "sweet" smell immediately became apparent. Once I cut it, the serious defect was fully confirmed. The panettone was quite thick and completely burnt, and the inside was dry and bitter. I cut a piece to see if it was better, but unfortunately, it was all uniformly unpleasant. I know this pastry shop, and their products are usually well-made and of good quality. I checked the mandatory labeling under the cellophane packaging. Even the label is of poor quality. As you can see from the photo, the label is missing all the mandatory information required by EC and national laws regarding the presence or contamination of products that cause allergies or intolerances, as well as the nutritional declaration. (There are legal penalties for this.) Furthermore, the name of the company and the place where the product was prepared must be specified, along with other missing information (look online for the specifications). It's not enough to write that the panettone was made to your recipe by... a number that means nothing to the buyer. I am truly DISAPPOINTED by this whole situation. We boast about panettone as a product of Italian excellence and a worldwide symbol of Christmas, and then these products are sold at a high price. Luckily, since I am a lover and excellent connoisseur, I always have a small supply of excellent panettone to offer guests. NB: I kept the bag containing the above-mentioned product so that if the seller has any doubts, they can inspect it. PANETTONE is a wonderful dessert. Don't forget it. THANK YOU. And if Alberto says so, you can be sure.
