Gisteren met een paar luisteraars van Radio Minerva gaan eten, lekker, goede bediening en heel tof om ook een keertje in het Nederlands bediend te worden. Charmant, simpel en heel lekker daar, moet je zelf ook eens doen, en weet je wat, nodig ons maar uit. :-)

Had the special steak and it was cooked perfectly.

Had previously known this restaurant as the local Indian restaurant and had not been since Aljambra took over. The venue has been decorated to a modern high standard, and the place is pleasant to be at, with a nice walled courtyard. Had the Sunday Roast, food was excellent and portion sizes were ample. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Will definitely be returning.

Monday night birthdays, but not an issue at Alhambra, front of house was very welcoming and attentive, service was spot on, ambience was warm and background music..great menu and compliments to chef Carl, the food was fabulous..I can vouch for the Salmon with Mussels and prawn sauce, fresh veg and dauphinoise potatoes!! Stunning flavours ...leave room for pud..

This was our first time eating here, we went with friends who'd eaten here before & wanted to share their experience, I didn't have a starter but for my main I combined the meatballs with fries. The meatballs came in a ramekin in a tomato based sauce which was beautiful, it had a little kick to it which I loved! The fries had their skin on & were delicious too. Afterwards I had a chocolate brownie & ice-cream dessert which was to die for!! I'm sorry I didn't take any photos the company I was in, kept me entertained so I forgot! I look forward to going again next time I'm visiting relatives in Spain!!

Fantastic local restaurant with great staff and attention to details, beautiful courtyard to the back sheltered from the wind and a real suntrap. Food is amazing and Sunday lunch is just perfect. If you haven't tried it yet then you should.

Booked a British Sunday Roast and pre ordered some cauliflower cheese 👍 Service was quick and it was very busy also. Staff really helpful and a laugh, which also which made the experience even better. Choices of roast with variety of meats or have a mixture of meats. If not a Roast person they still have a menu to cover you. Deserts also to completely finish you off. Good size portions throughout the meal Phew need to lay down siesta time 😂🤣 Good variety of drinks. Thanks again everyone we will return again 🤘

Great service and amazing, tasty food, 8 of us went for dinner, and we all had different starters and mains, and we all really enjoyed our meals. Desserts were delicious, too 👏 Looking forward to our next visit already.

As usual fully booked + any spare tables outside being filled, Stacy juggling 7 balls, no problem for her, she loves her ball juggling🤣😂 food amazing, atmosphere great, Monday evening, fabulous evening out what more could you ask for, need to book to get a table 👍👍

Fabulous food with wonderful service (a British sense of humour!). Would highly recommend the Sunday dinner, and the main menu was delicious - all a very reasonable price.

Ate here several times, the Sunday Lunch was awesome as were the Tapas. The chicken satay skewers are to die for. Lindsey and Stacey worked their socks off and were a good laugh in the process. Highly recommend a visit

Everything was great. We're not big eaters so we just had the tapas for lunch but starters, mains and deserts are there too.

Delicious, no other word for it. Well prepared dishes with an eye for presentation. And at a very reasonable price, too. A welcome addition to what Albox has to offer.

Really lovely food and service, we had 6 tapas dishes between 2 which was a bit of a push, they were all delicious but would recommend 4/5 dishes for 2 people. They were very busy and apologised for a slower service , but service was quick and friendly 😁

Visited on Wed.25/6/25 for the first time, with daughter and young grand children. Staff were very patient especially in dealing with the little ones. Food was terrific, really good choices with something for everyone all very reasonably priced. My daughter paid the bill and was surprised how cheap it was for the 3 adults and 2 children ( 8 & 10). Highly recommended for families. And yes we will be returning.

We gaan wekelijks eten bij Aljambra, het eten is er zeer lekker. Grote keuze op de menukaart, borden worden mooi gepresenteerd en personeel zeer vriendelijk vooral Juliana. De prijs kwaliteit is goed.

Lovely food here - even the tapas portion we got was a good size and did one of us for a dinner! Staff are really nice and friendly. Nice buzz in the bar, even in the middle of the day as there was a quiz on. And, of course, the icing on the cake is.... lovely ice cold Guinness on tap. Great 👍

We hebben zaterdagavond met 5 personen, waarvan 1 persoon in rolstoel, ontzettend lekker gegeten, alles was top en werd geserveerd zoals gevraagd, ook leuk dat het op zondagavond open is, wij komen zeker terug.

What a lovely experience in this great little restaurant. We have just returned from a ‘tapas’ lunch. The tapas were delicious and huge, then had desserts which were equally tasty. Service very welcoming. Thank you, we will be back.

Really excellent food and dining experience. Place is beautiful and the service was warm, welcoming and very informed providing great advice and recommendations. Hats off to the chef - all courses (and we had a few!) were top notch. Zero complaints. Will defo be back.

Our first visit but won't be our last. Fantastic Sunday lunch with a choice of meats, we had a mixture of chicken & beef which were both very tender & tasty. Accompanied by fresh veg, roast potatoes, Yorkshire & gravy.

Thank you to Carlos, Jo and staff for a great celebratory lunch yesterday. It was our 50th Wedding Anniversary and the 10 of us had a thoroughly enjoyable time. It was a lovely atmosphere. I'm vegetarian, and was given great choices. It was our first visit but, Mike and I will definitely be back.

Our first visit to celebrate my birthday. But it definitely won't be the last. The food was delicious and well presented. Very reasonable prices. The mussels were absolutely delicious 😋😋

Fabulous food and good portions. Only one waiter (2-4pm) but no rushing and very friendly. A wide variety of Manu from Tapas to Sanwiches and main meals plus deserts and starters.. something to suit everyone’s taste. Bonus is opening hours and not restricted on food served at certain times

Visited with friends while in Spain 🇪🇸 Food was delicious and portions are plentiful. If you want to have sweat, I would suggest not having a starter lol. Excellent service and excellent prices 👏

A Truly fantastic restaurant with a proper Chef . We have eaten here on a couple of occasions and have been totally satisfied with every thing from service, quality of food, good wine and great company with really dedicated Staff. Definitely will be back soon.

Très bon accueil, endroit agréable, service, impeccable, cuisine très très bonne et variées, seul poire, regrettable, c’est l’accueil en anglais ainsi que la carte et le service en anglais., je trouve un peu dommage que l’accueil ne se fasse pas au moins en espagnol… Nous sommes en Espagne ! Mais je recommande vivement ce restaurant car la cuisine est très très bonne.

My mother and I visited the Aljambra this Tuesday evening at about 7.15pm. We had eaten in the building before when it was an Indian restaurant called the Taj. Thankfully it has been redecorated in a tasteful, light and airy way. It was busy and even though we had not booked a table Stacy, I believe that's the lady's name, was able to fit us in and explained that there would be a bit of a wait. We were more than happy with that and were sat down. The menu has a wide range of dishes including tapas, pasta and other dish types. They also have a specials board that looked great. Throughout our wait the lady kept us updated as to our progress and when we would be served etc. I chose the Grilled chicken with Dauphinoise potatoes and side salad. My mum went for the Iberian ribs, chips and salad. Both meals were excellent. The sauces were rich and flavourful and the portions were very good, enough to not need a dessert to get full. At less than 40€ for both delicious meals, 3 cups of Cafe con Leche and a good sized glass of nice white wine you cannot complain. I know I will be taking my mum there again on my next visit and that time it will be my turn to pay. Thank you again for such great, understanding and attentive service accompanied by great food and drink. Thoroughly recommended.

Our first visit today with friends who had been before and recommend. Very friendly welcome, even though very busy the service was first class and efficient. Food choice was great and was delicious. All home made. Highly recommend.

Family of two adults and one child very much enjoyed our visit to Aljambra restaurant. Excellent value for money. We enjoyed a selection of the Spanish style tapas with a British angle. Rear courtyard area provided for a great atmosphere. Staff very attentive, pleasant and really brought together all the elements for an enjoyable evening. Would certainly recommend booking in advance.

Went yesterday and had an absolutely fabulous lunch! Service was perfect and food was incredible (especially the sticky toffee dessert). We’ll definitely be back to try more things on this amazing menu! Also plenty of outdoor space to sit and enjoy the sun with a cold drink!

First time we have eaten here, and so glad we did! The food was excellent, service great and good choice of dishes/tapas on the menu. As we had appointments most of the day, finally finishing at around 16.00, decided to have a main meal to save cooking when we got home, but so many cafe’s/restaurants close at 14.00/15.00/16.00! We will definitely visit again soon😉

Had Xmas day dinner here . I would highly recommend anytime . Lovely staff , very pleasant even tho they had to work on holiday. Can’t fault anything 👍

First visit here, came with hubby, son, daughter in law and grandson A very pleasant visit, food was delicious, tapas, main and deserts! We hadn't booked but would advise to.. One lady working the bar and also doing the food service today.. very friendly and managed well considering it was reasonably busy. Will definitely be visiting again very soon !

Gran restaurante.

Found this gem when shopping in Albox, thankfully we picked a quiet moment to pop in. Wow, their menu has so many great choices but they had a festive menu on, which was irresistible. Roasted red pepper and vine soup was like no other, the turkey roast was loaded. But for me it was the salmon and sole fillets, oh my tastebuds were treated to something amazing. And such a great choice of desserts, most homemade. The ambience and decor is beautiful, our waitress Jo was so lovely and informative, we were blown away. Definitely going back for a special birthday meal soon, only shame is it's about an hour away from us over the mountains. Well worth the drive, thank you for looking after us.

Went again last night for dinner with a mate from Competa. The 3 of us had different main courses and yet again Carl excelled. All the staff are efficient and lovely to deal with. We also had a Sunday Roast with a 87 year old relative a few weeks back and it was honestly one of the best roasts any of us, ever had. The only downside, it’s always best to book, as very busy. Love the food, thanks Guys

Mooie setting, lekker eten.

Excellent food, excellent service and a really great atmosphere. My only criticisms are that the gravy for the roast dinner was a little too salty for my liking, but probably just personal preference , and the drinks individually, I think, are a little pricey for the area. We had a bottle of Cava for 13 euros which was good value between two people, bug individually, large beers and wines are more expensive than in a lot of local places. We will be back as the food was absolutely delicious.

The quality of the food here is excellent BUT Today it was so hot inside we had to leave early and it spoiled our day as it was my wife's birthday treat. Its advertised as an air conditioned restaurant but to be so you need it turned on. Shame now we won't return till its cooler 😒

Very busy, but immediately asked had we booked a table, what we wanted to drink, and poured by the bar person before the waitress had passed on the order. Very attentive and friendly staff.

Good points:- Staff, atmosphere, beef medallions, soup, deep fried cheese, desserts. Points to improve on:- Chips. Twice cooked chips need to be fried much hotter for the second frying otherwise they are overcooked, soggy and take on the taste of the fat. Chicken. Very overcooked, both satay and breaded options. Satay sauce. Runny and not coating the chicken. Spoilt by supermarket fried onion bits.

A truly disappointing experience. There was one waitress for everything who tried but was overwhelmed. We waited hours for service and food. I think our food had waited as long for us. No one enjoyed it. A real shame. And not cheap. 140 for 4 for lunch.

Not impressed. We made a reservation for my wife’s birthday meal. The booking was confirmed and we drove for an hour to get to the restaurant on the day of the booking. We arrived at the restaurant car park with people returning to their cars, stating they couldn’t get in as it was booked up for a quiz! We went into the restaurant and stated we had a booking but we had been told by people outside that there was a quiz. This was confirmed by the staff, so we cancelled our booking and left. At no time were we told about a quiz! We only wanted a nice quiet meal to celebrate my wife’s birthday!!!!!

No te atienden si eres Español. Ayer noche fuimos a cenar a este restaurante y la mujer que atendía fue simpática y atenta hasta que nos escuchó hablar español al preguntarle si tenía mesa para dos. Al preguntarle en español de repente puso mala cara y dijo "No" y nos dijo algo rápido en inglés y se fue. Volvimos a decirle que queríamos cenar, que había mesas libres y nos volvió a decir "No", tan solo por ser españoles. Todos las demás personas que estaban cenando eran inglesas. Nosotros finalmente nos tuvimos que ir porque se negaron a atendernos. Nada recomendable.

Llegamos a las 9 de la noche y nos echaron, decían que ya habían cerrado la cocina aunque había personas que estaban empezando a comer.
