I knew this place due to my school being near there and continuing going there even if I have to drive a bit. We love the Cesar salad and spicy fries lol. Some workers are great and some of the guys meh. But so far food is the best.

Their burgers are deliciously decadent. My family and I only eat there once a month.. only thing that is not great there are the fries and the onion rings but everything else... your doctor would not approve. :)

First time here. I ordered a Grill Chicken Sandwich. The ingredients tasted good and look organic. The service was great and friendly. The other items also looked good. I would return and recommend.

This is my go to for my Veggie burger. I had my whole office try it out. So good. The cashiers ther are outstanding. Frankie knows my voice over the phone. When im on my vegetarian kick i like to get the philly cheese steak with no steak very tasty

The Menu is quite good, Diverse in Burgers and Salads, I enjoy their Chicken Finger Basket with some chilli cheese fries, I also enjoy the Ultimate Texas Burger, They also have a points reward program that comes in Handy, All in All a great burger spot.

The chili cheese fries... just order them. 🤤🤤🤤🤤 The food is reasonable, always fresh, and absolutely delicious. The management is very responsive to customer needs/questions as well. I definitely recommend this place.

The chillie cheese fries and the burgers are amazing and if your trying to stay healthy the salads as well are just perfect and fresh. My favorite is my ex girlfriends favorite salad that's the name lol just delicious.

The Current Girlfriend salad could be served by a waiter in a cloth table cloth candle lit restaurant and it would fit right in. Burgers fries and rings to satisfy all your bros! SGV's burger joint for aficionados on a budget. Love it!

I love the summer salad. I go once a week. Highly recommend this place. Employees are courteous and they have your food ready for pick up.

Great cheap burgers and fries! Burger had great flavor and ratios and the fries were good. They have a digital soda machine with tons of options, plus plenty of sauces for your food! Super friendly cashier and quick service. Great spot!

Time to update this review. The first time I came here, I was skeptical about the portions and options. The menu is cheeky, but the food here is fantastic. Like before, I still really enjoy the chicken tenders and fries basket, as well as Steve's Burger. The staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is great. Most people who come here order a salad. The portions are well sized and the seating is ample. I'd suggest signing up for a FiveStars local rewards account so that you can rack up points to unlock different rewards.

I'm providing five stars based on my first time visit. I ordered a bacon avocado burger wrapped in lettuce, and as you can tell from the pictures, it was pretty well put together. I really enjoyed this burger, the bacon was super crisp, plenty of avocado, and the amount of lettuce wrap made it a two hand burger. Definitely going to come and try other things on the menu!

A really, really good basic burger and reasonable prices. My gal and I came here for lunch before she hit Kohl's, and we both got the Double burger. It isn't super fancy, and this place proves it doesn't need to be. Just a cpl patties, onion, tomato, sauce, and a bun. (we added cheese for 75¢ each) Two burgers, one of which was a fries/drink combo that we shared, only cost $17.50. We'll be back!

These are the best burgers I have been able to find in LA. They are fresh and juicy. I also love the variety of fresh toppings. It is a fun atmosphere with the Metallica theme. They are very busy so seating can be difficult but it's worth it.

First time visit and food was great. Generous size of a tuna sandwich. Burger combo was fresh, served with more than enough french fries . Only downside was I guess short staffed so waited to be helped as employee cleaned the rest room.

First time diner at Just Grillin', pleasantly surprised and satisfied with my meal(bacon cheeseburger combo with regular fries). Prices are in line with other establishments but with better ingredients. Service was pleasant and helpful(being my first time). 5 stars by me, will be visiting again soon. 👌

Great clean yummy food. Chicken wings were SIMPLY amazing best within 5 miles so far. Outdoor sitting is perfect for families with little one's. Big screen TV with Sunday football was an awesome extra for my hubby.

I found this place because it is across the street from my work. I love love love love the spicy fries. The burgers, salads, chicken strips, and grilled cheese sandwiches are all great as well. I have yet to come in and enjoy a michelada which they now serve! I will be back for one with my burger and spicy fries soon!

Excellent place to get grilled food. Went there for lunch and ordered the Philly with fries. It did not disappoint. My colleague ordered a bacon cheeseburger with spicy fries and loved every bite. Clean place to dine and watch sports while enjoying a delicious meal.

Burgers were great! Spicy fries were awesome! Slightly on the pricy side but overall a great experience! Employees are always super nice. They also have a membership card which is awesome!

The Food is GREAT! The employees are great! The prices are good for what you get. They started to serve beer. Very nice place to take the edge off. Very welcoming and plenty of seats to sit. It does get a little rush between 11am-2pm.

Every time I come here I haven’t been let down (except when they ran out of bone in wings and I have to order tenders) but they pull out a quality product. Burgers are cooked on point, I’ve had just about one of every item from the menu. The also carry a decent selection of beer, staff is always friendly and food is brought out to your table. I feel you get more then what you pay for here.

Service is always great and their sandwiches are always great as well.

Ordered online and food was ready to go (had just been made as I arrived) but was still fresh. Staff was pleasant, dining room was clean and bright. Would get food here again.

One of the best Subways I ever been to my entire life. The staff are very nice and friendly. They're quick on their feet and always ready to help. The food is nice and fresh and it's my new go to for lunch. But most importantly it's a place with the kind hearts. I've had numerous occasions where I'm making an order only to forget my wallet or my card to pay for lunch. Telling them to hold it until I can get someway to pay for it, they once even helped me out. I've never been so blessed with luck and kindness that's around that place. And that spans to even most people of the customers. The first time I forgot my card to pay for lunch I was shuffling thinking how I can pay without my physical card and while doing so an anonymous person who I didn't didn't get to see payed for it. I've never been so thankful at that moment in a very long time. This is a great place to eat for lunch, I can't recommend it anymore than I do now

There’s a gentleman preparing my food call “New to the team.” Not very professional, he simply used a a food sticker as a name tag. Funny guy, not the LOL type of funny. I used the restroom, the toilet is quite awful, see attached photo. 4/16/24 update. Restroom is now simply blocked. That’s their solution.

This Subway in west Alhambra is consistent and friendly probably one of my family's preferred Subway locations. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. They prepare the sandwiches with care and have been consistent each time we have visited. All the menu choices are available each time we have stopped in, which has not been the case at other Subway locations. Overall a good choice when looking for a clean and friendly sandwich shop.

This is a great spot to hit during lunch or happy hour. Not to big, but there is outside seating. The burgers are always great, the salads are good, and the chicken fingers are a great bang for your buck. The reason I give it 4 instead of 5 is that it's hit and miss depending on certain chefs.

The burgers are yummy with a nice char. I appreciate the expansiveness of their menu which can contain hamburger, corn dogs, and salads. They offer spicy fries(as seen here) but we found them to be lacking in seasoning. Always order them with extra! Their spicy ketchup is a must have for all those who enjoy a kick in their food.

Came for quick bite and enjoy sum brew, while I waited for someone. Not big selection of beer but they got quite a big menu. Would come again to check out rest of their food

This place is pretty rad. Great menu and pretty darn good food. Love that they have plenty of free parking. Definitely recommend for a decent burger.

I came here as a student on lunch break. The fries are really good. They serve you a lot of them. The veggie burger is alright. Kinda pricey but not bad.

Pretty solid place to go and get a burger or a sandwich. Fries are plentiful with your order I would share say you could share them with a nother person or two.

Their food is good. Their veggie burger leaves a lot to be desired. Their normal burgers and sandwiches are good and the sweet potato fries are really good. The spicy ketchup is good and unique. I don't think they deserve a 5 star yet because I feel some items on their menu leaves a lot to be desired while others are great. I recommend this place.

I do online orders here to get the specials is always nice. The only thing so far is they put too little ham, turkey, or chicken on the sandwiches. I felt like I ordered a veggie sandwiches with a little bit of turkey. This Subway needs to do a better job.

The quality of the food here is standard fare, and I have more than once found a hair or something that wasnt supposed to be in the food. As well, the workers are clearly understaffed, because whenever it gets busy, I notice theres only two people in the kitchen, and one of them is the cashier. It's better at lunchtime when theres a lot of workers, but around dinnertime, you're better off going to Wendy's for burgers. It's not that far away and it costs and tastes about the same. After all, frozen food is pretty much the same no matter where you go. But the workers work hard so I have to commend them for that. As an establishment, though, the combination of mediocre quality, plus the fact that it's in some secluded lot next to more restaurants but no actual store makes it a bit of a bore to eat at. If you need a quiet place to eat, that's one thing. But even then, your best bet is to eat at the 3-5 hour because before and after that, it's no better than just going to another fast food place.

First time eating from this restaraunt and the only reasons why I'm giving it 3 stars is because I ordered a double burger with cheese, avocado, and mushrooms and when my order arrived via Postmates my double burger had an avocado slice with the outer peel still attched to the slice (which I discovered while taking a bite and hurting my gums). Then the mushrooms did not taste fresh at all. Had to remove them along with the avocado cause the avocado tasted funky as well. Otherwise the rest of my order was good. Will I return? ah, maybe.

This Myra lady working at the counter is unaware of the menu, rude and lacking eye contact. I asked where's the breakfast menu she said right there... RIGHT WHERE? What she should have said, under the bold text Add-Ons is the breakfast menu. Then she asked what size and I said, oh how much is the footlong? She replies, it's right there on the menu. 📢Know your menu service, lady!!! Be courteous, and understand that people don't work here to know the menu as you should on the daily... Dear franchise owner, If you're going to hire people make sure they have emotional intelligence. Make sure they know "social awareness." She was pathetic 😞 Greed doesn't look pretty on this franchise...

I've been disappointed for some time now. Below average quality and service. The sandwiches even look "poor."

Just ordered a Philly cheesesteak cause I heard they were alright according to the comments... really disappointing. I’ve had a good amount of cheesesteaks I like think I know what I’m talking about. It was pretty burnt to begin with all the steak and peppers were black. The lady that took my order seemed pretty snobby too... shouldn’t be working if you’re going to be that way. Which is funny cause she helped the lady before me just fine then when I ordered she didn’t treat me the same. Some lady that looked like the manager gave me my order and she was cool but yeah.. prolly won’t be returning.

I stop by a week ago it call my attention because the smell was good once I walk in my mind change. Why well prices are high, and they sell just burgers and beer soft drinks to but the idea is for a tavern. That sells a burger and a beer don't get me wrong but I would lime to have more options. Now the prices are high so if you are looking on not to spend much I will recommend not to go.

Came during the nightshift (3am) to get a sandwich. Store was not clean and employee was just sitting around eating. Yet when I asked for a napkin to dry my hands an employee came out from the back to help me but was sent back by the "on break" employee who claimed they don't take breaks. But he continued to provide rude service with an attitude. Then told me it was cash only. When I paid him he just handed me the sandwich bag and when I asked for a recipe he told me he would write one. So he wrote the calculations on the paper. I asked for his store number = 28063 and his managers name which he replied with Jose but when I asked for his last name, he said he didn't know it and that I could come back in the morning when he comes in. I explained what occurred to my friend who had been waiting in the car. So my friend then goes in to get her sandwich (after he came outside to vape and saw us together in the car) and reported back to me that she paid with card and he was polite to her. According to her receipt his name is Lance.

Ordered a sandwich from here through uber eats, the added raw bacon the sandwich If you hate your job go get a new one. This could make people sick. Literally cold and slimmy sandwhich

HORRIBLE & NEVER AGAIN My husband and I decided to stop by and try it out for dinner 7/18/22 1. The cashier looked like she was unhappy to be there, new nothing when asked about a burger and melt 2. We placed our order and as we waited she was on her phone looking miserable! My food was done and placed on the counter by the cook, I sat and watched her text on her phone for 5 minutes before I got up and made noise hoping she would see my food sitting there.. she walked to the register and continued texting till she looked back and seen my food... 3. I ordered a chicken melt, asked her IF THEY ADD MAYO ... NO MAYO PLEASE, she said you want it plain? NOOOO as is just no MAYO if added... my husband asked for a burger NO PICKLE NO TOMATOES AND RAW ONIONS... the receipt noted the burger correct..like he asked 4. His burger had all he DIDN'T WANT pickles, tomatoesand grilledonions ... my chicken melt was a Fried Chicken Melt NO GRILLED ONIONS .... AND ON WHITE not sourdough... totally wrong... Husband said Fries tasted like they were done at 11am & burger was not good and my patty melt was set aside since I don't do fried chicken!!! Waste of money and time... hitting subway like usual... 👎 👎 👎 to this place ..

The food itself is great and quite possibly 4-5 stars alone JUST for the food, BUT... the service is just awful... at least my first 2 experiences were. The 1st time there, the food blew my mind it was so good, but the employees were going thru some kind of relationship drama and it became annoying to listen to and just witness the sobbing and going in and out of the restaurant. The 2nd time, the food was also good, but this time the employees were rude and trying to be smart about an error they committed, which sucks because i was simply trying to eat and have a good 2nd experience, but it was actually worst than the 1st. So therefore im NOT going back a 3rd time. P.S someone needs to enforce some uniforms or at least more sophisticated clothing because dirty shoes and totally ripped jeans makes it look like they picked u up off the street and gave u a job.

Waited about 40 min for my order. They still got it wrong but did not have time to wait for new order. The burgers are the most bland/tasteless burgers I've ever had. And the chicken fingers are basically microwaved from frozen. Gross. Never going back.

Came in and ordered my food at 1: 38 PM, sat down, 1:45, no food yet, but others that ordered after me were getting their food, 1:55 still no food, even more people who came in after me, were getting their food. 1:58, my break is almost over got up, and barely my order was ready. Asked for my money back, received no apologies or nothing, just a thank you... i guess it was for waiting 20 minutes for no food. Will think about going back there again

First and last time going here. We ordered our food to go and while the cashier was pleasant the food was horrible. Our food was way over cooked, lacked flavor and seasoning and was just dry. The fries had absolutely no seasoning on it. This was an awful experience. We threw most of our food away. Honestly speaking it seemed the hamburger was just a frozen patty; it was so thin and gross.

Both employees ignored me and proceeded to work on the same online order until I asked if I could just order soup, btw they didn’t have the soup s I wasted 10 minutes waiting to be attended to.

The bathroom was out of order and the employees were not very apologetic about it. In my opinion restaurants that fail to have functioning restrooms for their paying customers should not be allowed to be open.

They only give me one napkin,I ask them one more they say they cannot do that.

It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with customer service. The experience was so bad that I will have no choice but to post a review online so customers will be weary of what to expect when walking into this particular establishment. I ordered our lunch online because we only have a 30 minute lunch break. I walked in at exactly 12:30 when I received notification that my order was ready. As I approached the pick up counter Jose who was the employee in charge of handing out online pick up orders asked for my name. When I checked out as a guest, the subway app did not ask for my name so I assumed I just needed my order number ready which I did. Unbeknownst to me my phone had automatically filled out that portion but added my son’s name instead of mine. When I gave my order number to Jose he proceeded to explain that the order number meant nothing and he needed a name. Again I didn’t know I had to use any of my 2 sons names so I asked Jose several times to just check the order number which he refused. His attitude was very dismissive so I asked what were my options because I had already been charged for my order and I had received confirmation that it was ready. Another female employee attempted to assist but again her attitude was dismissive as well. It was basically if your name isn’t in our system then you weren’t charged so resubmit your order. I explained again that I was already charged and she went as far as denying I was. She then proceeded to read out the names on their system for online orders and 2 of the names she called out were Andrew and David which coincidentally are my 2 son's names. I told the female employee who I can only assume was the lead in charge, to check order numbers for those 2 names. Andrew’s name turned out to be our order. This whole situation could have been resolved in a minute had Jose checked the number order like I asked but instead it took away 15 minutes of our lunch time. At the end Jose could and would not admit to his poor customer service but instead went as far as trying to argue how they work which at the end as a customer is irrelevant. He tried to justify his quality of work over the quantity of orders they had at that moment which at the end is redundant because quality should never suffer due to any employees lack of awareness in the field which he should have been properly trained for.

Worst experience ever! Placed a door dash order and half of my order was forgotten. When contacting the store, it took me three attempts to actually get a human on the phone. When somebody answered, it was answered by a “yeah?” I asked if I was speaking with SUBWAY, the kid answered back saying “yeah”. And he continues to go on and talk about chips that they didn’t have. I told him he was speaking to the wrong person, and I had an issue with an order. He could not handle the phone call Said he was gonna put some other girl on the phone. The “girl” comes on the phone and she was just as useless. Told me just to call DoorDash to get my money back or I could come tomorrow to pick up my order. Acted as if she was unaware of the order. They said that they had no management there. This is what “fast food” is going to become. Completely overpriced and incompetent people for a high pay and the customers paying those high prices suffer. I just wanted them to know that an order was incorrect. Then, the only sandwich that was delivered, wasn’t even correct. DoorDash was no better as the Dasher who delivered the food didn’t speak any English so I was unable to explain to him what was going on. The receipt on the bag he handed me clearly showed two sandwiches. But that’s a complaint for DoorDash. I would not recommend going to this location! It is ran by a ton of incompetent children.

06/04-Need better workers. Tattoo arms, glasses. Starting arguing with herself. First, this is a sandwich store. Why is it open without a toaster? Second, I never gave her any issue. I actually apologized for missing the sign....... if you're gonna hire ex-cons. At least the ones who know their own place

I ordered a sandwich and the girl makiing my sandwich was very rude, I asked her if she was ok, because I ordered extra toppings and she rolled her eyes at me. I asked her that I was sorry for asking. Didn't think it was such a problem.

Rude staff a medium sized guy getting angry on customers by banging the oven door as I asked for an another subway. Training of the staff on how to speak with customer is the main thing yourl need to do or else one day You guys might get shut down bcz of ur staff .
