Great restaurant for traditional local dishes and meats. Best casoncelli I have ever tried (and sometimes you can even buy some from the kitchen to bring home) and tasty grill. Location is more than beautiful: a Middle Ages cloister which is absolutely stunning. Totally fair prices considering the quality of the food you get and the fast service.

Abbiamo festeggiato il nostro matrimonio nel ristorante e era perfetto.

È anni che sporadicamente ci fermiamo per cena, la qualità del cibo è ottima, la location è uno spettacolo con un'atmosfera magica. I prezzi sono nella norma e il servizio è eccellente.

Ottimo cibo, buona attenzione al cliente, specializzati in cucina bergamasca e carne alla griglia, un inconveniente è che per andare in bagno bisogna passare dall'esterno, non so se è stata una scelta obbligata per conservare la storicità della location, si tratta infatti di un ex convento del 1400. Prezzi medio-alti.

Una bellissima location,a mio parere da rivedere un pochino certi piatti..

Cucina tipica valli bergamasche con qualche deviazione... servizio molto rapido ... bella location rustica, il pranzo ci ha lasciati soddisfatti. Prezzi giusti. Consigliato. Ci tornerò per provare la griglia.

Buon ristorante di cucina tipica bergamasca. La location è molto particolare, sembra di essere in un monastero. Il menù fisso è vario e offre una degustazione di diverse pietanze. Il prezzo, per la cena che viene proposta, è giusto. Servizio puntuale e cameriere molto disponibili.

Se avessimo mangiato nel chiosco del convento forse sarei più positivo , invece abbiamo mangiato in una stanza piccola con 20 persone che urlavano come dei forsennati

Location splendida soprattutto in primavera/ estate. Pulito. Arredamento spartano che non esalta il bellissimo chiostro. Cibo semplice. Ottimi i "bertu di san Lorenzo" ravioli tipici. Lo ricordavo per un' ottima carne alla brace,... qs volta delusa. Fanno anche la pizza. Dolci: molto buona la torta "risol". Personale efficiente e gentile. Prezzi economici.

La location è molto suggestiva, tenuta bene ed è piacevole cenare all'aperto nelle serate estive, il servizio è assolutamente da migliorare, a parte un cameriere sorridente e simpatico, il resto sembrava infastidito quando gli si chiede qualcosa, per quanto riguarda il cibo, sinceramente molto deluso, eravamo in 15 persone e la quantità di cibo portato è molto minima per quello che ci si aspetta, grigliata di carne mista ok, ma non è possibile dividersi una grigliata che mangerebbero 4 persone in 15. Ps. Molto deluso anche l'amico che ci aveva suggerito e portato da loro, tutto sommato si è mangiato poco ma discreto, di sicuro non è uno di quei posti dove dici ritornerò. (Allego foto della grigliata che ci è stata portata, 2 piatti di quella grigliata da dividere in 15 persone mah).

A parte la location che puoi vedere solo il fuori perchè, per poche persone ti relegano nelle stanzette rumorosissime, per una costata al sangue da 17 € ci è stata servita una, non so ben definirla ma mi è sembrata tanto l'orecchio di elefante non impannato con osso, stracotto e rifiutata in cambio di un'altra - idem- nella tipologia ma cotta in superficie e lo spessore, di circa 4 mm ancora freddo. Alla fine ho accettato un'altra similare che di "costata" non aveva proprio neppure la lontanissima somiglianza. Forse il cuoco dovrebbe studiare di più cosa si intende per "costata al sangue". Nel piatto delle verdure in pastella sono arrivate tante cipolle, tante carote, 1 fagiolino e 3 piccoli spicchi di peperone.... ahh dimenticavo 1 rondella di zucchine!!! Il primo di lasagna bruciacchiato in superficie. Mai più!!! era da molto che non pranzavo alla frasca e credo che non ci andro' più.

I'm sorry, but I'm giving it 2 stars solely for the view and the location surrounded by greenery. I went to this restaurant with my family on a weekday evening for dinner and was really disappointed, even though it had been recommended to me by relatives and they'd spoken highly of it. It's located next to the church of San Nicola di Almenno, with ample parking. The darkness didn't help me get a good look at the restaurant from the outside, but the view is worth it. There's a children's playground and vineyards. Unfortunately, as soon as we entered, it gave us a dirty, old, and neglected feeling. The entrance was dilapidated and unwelcoming. On the right side, there was a table (I think it's used exclusively by the owners) and there were people dining in their waiter or kitchen uniforms. The staff didn't even notice us right away, even though they were free, they continued chatting. They seated us in a really shabby little room. It's fine to use antique furniture, but here the furniture was really old and in need of replacement, especially the red chairs, all chipped. (From the photos, it looked really different, and you couldn't even notice the ugly dining room.) There was only one other table in the restaurant besides us, so the service was quick... Simple home-cooked dishes, but really too home-cooked for a restaurant!!! Poor presentation; the dishes seemed like they were cooked by ordinary people, not by professionals, unfortunately... The food was edible; some dishes received a 6, others didn't even reach a passing grade... For dessert, the Almenno cake (high expectations), but nothing exceptional. P.S. (The bathroom is outside in the parking lot.) Never again. I'm surprised that ceremonies (especially weddings) come here.

The whole dining experience is totally destroyed by the lady boss which is rude and unwelcoming . It is really a pity that despite the place is very nice , food is really tasty, and the price is reasonable , it totally ruin the whole dinner of us . We were seated outside even if we ask her can we move in due to it was quite chilly that evening , she replied no rudely . Other customers arrived with the same request was being replied with : if u are cold wear your sweater . If u are cold , go home ! :( not a pleasant dining experience at all , not sure we will return even if we love the food .

Una domenica da dimenticare!Ci siamo seduti alle 12,30 e ci siamo alzati alle 15...E per fortuna che avevamo prenotato. Dopo 3/4 d'ora ci hanno portato l'antipasto. Dopo 1h e mezza che ci siamo lamentati per il disservizio e la lentezza ci hanno portato I primi crudi che abbiamo mandato indietro. Dopo 2 h ci portano i secondi (io ho chiesto espressamente di cancellare la mia ordinazione del secondo). Polenta immangiabile!L'unica cosa commestibile è stata la carne alla griglia, servita arbitrariamente al sangue. Al momento del pagamento l'ho fatto presente alla proprietaria che con arroganza mi ha risposto che potevamo anche non tornare...2 antipasti misti,1 casoncelli, 1 pizzoccheri,1 primo misto e 1 ravioli (rimandati indietro perché crudi),2 polente alla frasca(salate e immangiabili), 1 nodino,1 costata e 1 costolette di agnello,1 bottiglia di valcalepio, 4 caffè e 1 amaro 125€. Mai,mai,mai più! L'unica nota positiva la cameriera italiana. È meglio mangiare in mensa! Se cercate un ristorante cambiate posto! Ho messo solo 2 foto perché il resto...lasciamo stare!

We came to your restaurant with a small dog, who always sits in his bag. We didn't have time to say hello before they told us that dogs are not allowed. This is very strange, the restaurant is open... In general, the restaurant is not welcoming, especially to people from another country.
