I had an amazing dining experience at this sushi restaurant! The atmosphere was inviting, the service was impeccable, and the sushi was simply divine. Each roll was a work of art, and the fresh, high-quality ingredients made all the difference. I can't wait to return and savor more of their delicious creations. This place is a must-visit for sushi lovers!

Came here today and had the Volcano Roll and the Afive Wagu sushi rolls, and they were 10/10! Our server was very pleasant and made great suggestions !

My experience at MF Bar was nothing but 5 stars. From when the waiter asked for our drink order to when she brought out the bill, she was probably one of the best waiters I’ve seen. The menu had a ton of sushi, and it was kind of overwhelming, so I ordered California rolls. The waiter said that if I like California rolls, then I should try the volcano. So I ordered the volcano. When our food arrived it was obvious which one was mine. Every inch of the meticulously designed tower of sushi deliciousness was an art in its own way. I feel that MF bar deserves a 5 star rating for these reasons spectacular service, and exquisite food both in looks and taste.

Food was great! Everything was super fresh and delicious! Personal favorite drink was the ginger beer! Favorite dish was the sapphire roll! Favorite app was the flounder.

I am a sushi roll connoisseur and in my opinion this restaurant is the best sushi restaurant in town!!!!! The drinks are also delicious as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will be back soon.

Surprised by the low-ish rating. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff was pleasant and attentive. Prices are a little steep, but it is the Avalon. There are a ton of good restaurants in the area, but please consider this place as one of them.

Amazing small sushi restaurant, had the off menu menu Waygu and lobster and I must say it was amazing. Visually and taste, gold flakes on tops really set the roll apart

We love MF Bar! Every dish we have eaten has been delicious. The bacon wrapped scallop skewers, sushi, filet cooked tableside, baked scallops, and nigiri were all so yummy! Service has always been great as well. Can't wait to visit again.

Wonderful elegant spot to enjoy some great sushi! The baked lobster and spicy tuna roll are definitely my favorites.

The small plates are ridiculously good- especially baby octopus, and Hamachi kama was excellent. I have had their sashimi as well, it's always been fresh and delicious. Their menu is very well rounded, definitely stop by when you're in the area. Excellent cuisine.

I ordered a few appetizers and nigiri. The fish was excellent quality and all the dishes were very tasty. The service was great and the lychee cocktail was also good.

Waitress was very knowledgeable, sushi was excellent, service was fast, pricing was expensive but you got what you paid for. Would definitely go again. Came in around 6:10 and the restaurant was mostly empty, seated immediately and had water within a minute. Only complaint was the server recommended against something on the menu since it had inferior ingredients... Why would that be on the menu at all ? Overall excellent experience, would go again.

So the reviews are very misleading! I know some people may have had a bad time but me and my gf had our 3 year anniversary here. We called and made a reservation at 9pm. We were skeptical if it was going to be good or if they were going to take care of us, and to our pleasure it was an amazing experience!! Food was fast! Food was tasty! Presentable! And it was an overall great experience! Let’s be honest it’s pricy but you pay for what you get. I definitely think it’s worth it and to come on a special occasion. We spent 177 together and that’s with 2 soups, 2 appetizers 3 rolls , fresh wasabi, 2 chicken skewers, 2 drinks, A order for sashimi and nigiri. Honestly great price! Well worth it. We will definitely be coming again! :) no bad experience for us. Just a great time and good food!

I always have an amazing time when I come here surprisingly the restaurant was empty. It’s typically packed on a Friday all throughout the day, but the sushi was extremely fresh. I went in there for an early Mother’s Day dinner and everyone was so lovely extremely helpful even open the door for us on our way out I will always come here and I will always be highly of this place. Best sushi ever.

5 stars. $30-$50 per person. Could easily spend more. I brought my husband for Father's Day and he was happy. That's really all that matters. HOWEVER, the food was really good and or service was stellar. Tom is awesome and he does everything but cook. We'll certainly be back soon.

I've been in the john's creek area for about ten years and I am wondering how I never came across this place. How did I miss it? I've searched for a great sushi spot for the longest and finally I've found 1. My server slash bar tender slash table busser made a great drink and had a wonderful personality his name is Tom by the way . Anyway if you haven't been you are truly missing out.

Amazing sushi. This is a sushi restaurant, not a bunch of other random stuff. They do sushi and they do it exceptionally well. Order anything with Toro and it is just unreal. Baby octopus is amazing. Also make a crazy good Old Fashioned cocktail. Highly recommend. Very accommodating for kids too. My girls wanted very specific rolls and it was no problem to get them. Great experience.

great service, very kind, always around for help, and the food was great. I especially enjoyed the Surf and Turf roll along with the Salmon Aioli Nigiri. Everything on the special menu I would recommend.

The food was great and our server made great recommendations. My only complaint is how close you are to your neighboring tables on the patio, it felt like Valentine’s Day in an overbooked restaurant. Would definitely return again, the vibes are immaculate

Great sushi and even better service. We sat outside with espresso martinis, enjoyed some quality people-watching, and worked our way through some good dishes. The thin-sliced tuna was super fresh, and the eel was spot on. It’s definitely on the pricey side, but it’s Alpharetta.

The sushi here is great! We had tuna and salmon sashimi AND e we had the Sweetheart Roll and oh! The tempura! All was FABULOUS! Vi was our server and he was great! Really loud atmosphere.

Great intimate environment although it can be a little loud. Menu has most items you would expect in a Japanese restaurant with some interesting exceptions. Odd to see pork chop on the menu. Selection of sake is good, whisky just OK. Japanese whisky is exceptional but MF Bar has only a couple to offer and of those only mid-range with no show piece. Sushi is good, the rolls are better. Value is fair but not great. Service is generally good.

From sushi to eggplant. Everything I tried was seriously delicious. The drink menu is a standout, with some unusual and cool cocktails you won’t find everywhere. If you like experimenting with new flavors, you’ll definitely find something intriguing here. That said, the price is nuts. The food and drinks are fantastic, but it comes at a steep cost. It’s the kind of place you hit for a special treat, not your go-to for a casual dinner.

This is my second time here. The ambiance is nice and gives you fine dining but a chill vibe and you can actually eat and drink and have a conversation without a lot of noise. I shared the truffle aioli fresh salmon as an appetizer which you mostly tasted the truffle oil. I also had the avocado balls, which had spicy tuna and spicy salmon and caviar. It was one bite but lacked flavor and not worth the price and should have been bigger balls or less price for the amount. For my entree at the waiter suggestion I had the Sapphire Roll and my friend had the Spicy Tuna Crispy Box. I also had a cocktail called White Kimono. Overall I liked the restaurant but I think for the price the rolls could be bigger as I have had bigger at other places. I didn’t leave full and satisfied because it was light and not as tasty but it was fresh. The one disappointing thing is we chose this location because of the reviews for happy hour and discovered after ordering appetizers they didn’t have it only lunch specials and they couldn’t change the menu on display outside of the restaurant.

The food we tried here tasted fine,but the prices were a bit high for what the dishes were. The takoyaki appetizer was over 12$ and only came with 4. However, the workers were really nice and attentive. Just be prepared to spend alot of money before eating here.

Took friends and had an amazing meal, however, the service was absolutely atrocious. We spent over $350 for 3 people and our waiter never filled our waters or took away dirty plates. I even asked him to clear our table before desert and he took a few plates and never came back to get the rest. He didn't take them even when he brought the desert. At this price point. I expected more. I wanted to contact management, but their website has no contact info. Disappointed.

Service was great but the food was a bit disappointing. I was really excited about this place because influencers had such great things to say. The sushi rice really makes or breaks a roll. I think they added a bit too much water when they were making the rice. Also, the rolls had a very thick layer of rice. Overall pretty disappointed and will likely not be back

Honestly the worst service. Food is amazing but the service is absolutely horrific. This is my second Time here the food has gotten better and the service worse. We were completely ignored the entire night. After we placed our app we had to flag them down for more water, ginger and wasabi, and more food. They forgot about our second roll and we didn’t want to keep flagging them down for stuff. Definitely will not be back I had the A5 roll and the sweetheart roll were both AMAZING. The lobster miso I could have done without.

Mediocre food, the yuzu grilled octopus salad used to be more octopus less lettuce, the fish tasted old on all the rolls we ordered…I would call this fast food sushi but priced like something nicer…

The sushi was sub par at best. Nigiri came out room temperature, soggy and not fresh. The spicy tuna roll (cucumber wrapped) was much colder but much too thick cucumber slicing, Wagyu was the best part, yet still a 6/10. Extremely salty and buttery. Overall I would rate this 4/10. Won’t return. Additionally service was slow.

Wanted to order cocktails and appetizers and sit outside with small Yorkie. My son wanted something from Thai candle next door. The manager would not allow us to let him eat his Thai food at the outdoor table even though we would be eating MF appetizers and drinking Drinking MF cocktails. He was extremely rude. Prime dinner time, but empty restaurant.
