This isn't a current review, but I wanted to write it. Ten years ago, I used to have lunch or dinner here with my father's Buonanima. Precious memories of a special place, where the food was good, you felt welcomed, and time seemed to slow down. I don't know what it's like today, but I know I'll be back soon, because I'll be staying in this area for a while.
A restaurant at lunchtime and also a pizzeria in the evening. The simple, naturally tasty cuisine changes daily with a variety of typical dishes, much appreciated by many customers. The service is simple, with an efficient, family-friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it; you'll definitely leave satisfied. Good value for money.

An unpretentious yet welcoming and warm place. The owners are extremely kind and available to accommodate guests' requests. The outdoor terrace is little-known but a true gem, perfect for enjoying the tranquility. Highly recommended.
A true place to unwind, where you can relax and enjoy home-cooked food at a reasonable price. €11 for a first course, second course, side dish, water or wine (excluding coffee). Three choices per dish. Friendly and polite staff. The extra virgin olive oil is good, but the grating could be improved. TV in the dining room. Recommended.
The owners are two fantastic people, kind and helpful. The place has an atmosphere reminiscent of the '90s, the years of my childhood, and makes me feel at home. The pizza is good and the easiest to digest in the Valley.
Scacciapensieri is a truly enormous restaurant and pizzeria, with several spacious rooms suitable for receptions and large parties, such as weddings or baptisms. Like many other restaurants, especially in the provinces, it has chosen various revenue streams: a fixed-price menu for lunch during the week, an à la carte menu for evenings and weekends, and more elaborate and sophisticated menus for other special occasions. Regardless of its offerings, it has managed to maintain a truly fair quality-price ratio, and its cuisine is always satisfying for all types of diners, with truly appetizing dishes. The pizzas, served in the evening, are also excellent, and it's a pleasure to see them emerge piping hot from that beautiful wood-fired oven. My partner, her family, and I have become regulars at this down-to-earth and sincere establishment, where we always return with pleasure.
If you want to eat in a casual, homey, and natural atmosphere, it's excellent. I'm always happy to go there, even without pretensions.
I'll be brief: a traditional trattoria in the Pianezza area. We went there on Saturday for lunch, and they had a midday menu, which included a first course, second course, side dish, and drinks (no beer) for €11 (desserts aren't on the menu, of course, but they're reasonably priced and you can buy groceries). The quality for the price is excellent; you can't ask for more at that price. I recommend it.
Very nice, and they offer fresh fish! The prices are fair and the food is quality. Be sure to check out the à la carte appetizers, which have generous portions. Always friendly, with spacious outdoor and indoor areas. As always, they ask for a green pass. P.S.: The Jellicle cat is a cute mascot; if you're lucky, you might hear him meowing during your meal. Highly recommended.
Diciamo che il punto forte di questo locale non è proprio quello che dovrebbe essere. Inizio dal conto, perché forse andare a ritroso rende meglio l’idea: menù fisso a 11 euro, ai quali vengono aggiunti 3 euro a testa per l’antipasto e 6 euro a testa per il dolce. Totale: 40 euro in due. Il posto è quello che è: arredamento “simpatico”, luci solo agli angoli della sala (immagino che la sera i tavoli centrali vadano a lume di candela), quadri che litigano tra loro… insomma, un insieme davvero chic. Arriviamo alle 13: due adulti e un bambino sul seggiolone, che però viene fatto girare per la sala perché — a detta loro — “creava pericolo”. Non ho ancora capito se il problema fosse il seggiolone o il bambino. La sala è piena. Ordiniamo un antipasto: tre fette di affettato e tre di formaggio, arrivate dopo circa 25 minuti. Va bene, non abbiamo fretta. Dopo 50 minuti arriva una cameriera molto gentile a informarci che il riso salsiccia e radicchio è finito. Possiamo optare per una pasta con lo stesso condimento. Domanda: ti servono 50 minuti per scoprire che hai finito il riso? E soprattutto: come mai i due tavoli accanto a noi sono già al dolce mentre io sto ancora litigando con il primo? La parte più divertente arriva con il piatto di pasta: scottissima, sembrava la pasta al sugo dei vicini sciacquata al volo e ricondita con salsiccia e radicchio. Immangiabile anche per noi, che siamo abituati a ben peggio. La trippa con i fagioli invece buona, nulla da dire. Lo spezzatino un po’ asciutto ma si mangiava. Le verdure non le ho neanche assaggiate: la fantasia mi era passata. E veniamo ai famosi 6 euro di dolce. Nel nostro “pranzo dei senza…” arriva il mio crème caramel — buono, davvero — e il tiramisù di mio figlio… senza savoiardi. Forse erano finiti anche quelli al tavolo dei vicini. Morale? Io e mio figlio ci siamo divertiti un sacco: il pranzo più lungo e più mal riuscito della storia, ma almeno abbiamo riso di ogni disavventura. Il personale è gentile, nulla da dire. Ma dopo un’attesa interminabile, un cambio di piatto dopo 50 minuti e tutto il resto, mi sarei aspettata almeno uno sconto, un amaro offerto (che non avrei bevuto, ma il gesto conta) o almeno delle scuse. Non mi pare abbiano Satispay, ma tranquilli: i seggioloni ci sono. A voi la palla, come sempre.
Nothing has changed since I last had lunch there (a few years ago). The food isn't bad, but the portions are very small. I paid 9 euros for a main course with a side dish, compared to 11 euros for the full menu (there's no proportion!), and I waited a long time for someone to come and take my order, only to find that they were served before the people who arrived after me and my family. I don't recommend it.
I wasn't entirely convinced, not to mention disappointed. I've been there twice and paid twice for the exact same things, two different prices. The second time was 8 euros more than the first, and that's already annoying. The food is poor quality, or rather, poorly cooked. The atmosphere is very dated, and the staff is truly lacking. The only thing is, they're quite fast, but I think that's because everything seems pre-cooked, and the vegetables aren't the freshest. Here, the saying "three in a row" doesn't apply to me. I don't think they'll see me again. Two times were enough.
I can't say if it's a trattoria or a restaurant, but you can eat there at lunchtime. The pasta isn't al dente, and it's too al dente, almost undercooked. The interior isn't very pleasantly decorated; what I appreciated most was the sliding wheelchair. The staff isn't very qualified; they often bring you dishes you didn't order, making serving customers a bit chaotic. The prices are reasonable, but watch your bill. One day I paid 8 euros for a tuna salad, where the tuna was barely cut into a teaspoon, and the next day I paid 10 euros for the same poor tuna salad. That said, I wish you bon appetit if you decide to have lunch at Scaccia Pensieri.
Ieri sono andato a mangiare in questo locale, io non capisco la gente come fa ad andare a mangiare in questo posto cucina pessima , sicuramente il mangiare per i cani è più buono.
I went on New Year's Eve, everyone was kind, of course, and I wasn't expecting culinary miracles, but some dishes were inedible: the paccheri with swordfish, not even at the worst canteen, the meat was only one shoe, to be avoided.... PS: the Neapolitan zeppola was saved.
