Was skeptical at first having always tried the classical dosas but tried the #9 , the chicken curry dosa with the coconut chutney and was blown away with the flavors and the combination. Amazing dosa. Also the coconut chutney was probably the best I've ever eaten, even better than some of the best spots in India. Yes it's on the sweeter side but flavors are outstanding and work well together. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

What can be said about one of my favorite restaurants on the PLANET?!! The food is delicious, creative, and filled with "good vibes". The freshest ingredients, combined with such care and culinary expertise. The environment, the space itself, is clean and beautiful-- an exquisitely high vibration. And the food.... it's the ultimate in "comfort food " for so many of us who are devotees!

Stopped here for lunch after our drive out to the Hamptons and loved everything about it! Food was delicious and prices were decent. I got the Masala Deluxe dosa (although might get the plain Masala if I were to go back) with the cilantro and mango chutneys. Also enjoyed an iced cardamom coffee! Definitely go here if you’re in the area!!!

The Hampton Chutney Co. is a true staple of the Hamptons.. They’ve been serving consistently awesome food for over a decade in the heart of downtown Amagansett.. So many lovely food and drink options here.. I stopped in with my family yesterday while passing through town and we caught them just before they closed.. The staff was absolutely welcoming and friendly.. The decor is just as warm and inviting as it always was.. I haven’t eaten there for several years and this was my children’s first introduction to their famous dosas.. We ordered two dosas, a selection of their chutneys (at 50 cents each I suggest you try them all!!) and the dahl soup.. Everything was fantastic!! We skipped the mango lassi (a delicious traditional Indian yoghurt smoothie) that we usually get, but if you’ve never had one you should definitely try it!! If you’re into caffeinated beverages you can’t go wrong with the many chai and coffee drinks that they offer.. My personal favorite is the cardamom coffee.. If you’re out east and you’re looking for something different and delicious, give the Hampton Chutney Co. a try..

This is a must try. Their spin on traditional South Indian food is experimental and one I approve. I like their Hamltons location more than the others. Highly recommend their Thali specials. And don't miss the subtle and sour Mango Lassi - a perfect end to those yummy dosas.

Great food, super friendly staff, large portions! Love that it is gluten free. I got the Masala deluxe with the cilantro chutney which was a great combination. We also got the breakfast one. We will be back!

Enjoyed the kardamon cafe and seating outside close to the train station. Returned back to taste the food. Light dishes, not authentic Indian though. Staff remains rather impolite - shame!

If you’re looking for authentic Indian Dosa then this isn’t the right place. Dosa from this place is very westernized & it tastes good. The filling inside the dosa was super packed with flavor. We tried Coconut Chicken Dosa & Chicken Curry Dosa, both were delicious & very filling. The coconut chutney on the side was good but I didn’t like the mango chutney which comes on the side as well.

Dosa doesn’t come with sambar which is pretty standard. Not authentic Indian food, but food was ok. The tables were dirty and not cleaned regularly. Restroom was dirty and was not available to customers. They need to get the basics right.

Food is pretty good. It isn't at all obvious how you are supposed to respond when they mumble a slew of questions when placing your order. Oh, and the closest bathroom is across the Town center, across the street, behind the next shopping strip and on the other side of a large parking lot.

Service is extremely rude. I was actually blown away on how short and disrespectful they are with customers. There’s no need for that. Portions are small foods quite expensive.
