Love this place, great food and fun atmosphere especially when they have karaoke.
Home food made in a great restaurant, the decor is beautiful, menu is great. Servers are awesome and pricing is reasonable
I really like the food here looks and tastes fresh GOD BLESS this business and everyone that works
Very good food! The service was also amazing. Will be back.
Good food ... if you want to try Salvadorean food in Amarillo TX this is the place to go. 👌
Customer service and food were both amazing. Will definitely be going back
Spectacular place to get authentic food from El Salvador (PUPUSAS are a must) clean place, with fast friendly service! Gentleman singing live on the weekend was a great vibe!
The food was delicious. Parrilada came out sizzling hot and was cooked perfectly. The spices and flavors used in the beans and rice are a nice added touch and a refreshing break from the Mexican style more commonly seen in Amarillo. The menu was neat and clear and the food all looked tasty - and at a reasonable price! They've got a great beer selection, including imports from El Salvador and Guatemala. And of course, Aguas frescas! Would highly recommend.
If you've never had a pupusa, try one or four from El Carbonero! My wife found this diamond in the rough, and we can't get enough of it. If seafood is your thang, check out the spicy or garlic shrimp. If flavor had a face, this would be gorgeous! I'm trying the red snapper next!
The waitresses had lovely smiles. To me that is very important. The beer was ice cold and the food is fantastic. I will continue to go back
This place was absolutely amazing and hot sauce was so on point my daughter age 6 had 3 bowls to her self! I'm definitely coming back!

ITS THE BEST SEAFOOD THAT I TRIED IN THE U.S. SO FAR!!! I BEEN EVERYWHERE! IN THE U.S ..AFTER EL CARBONERO NOTHING GETS BETTER THAN THIS!!!!! EVEN THE DESSERT IS ONE OF A KIND...KEEP THE FOOD AS GOOD AS IT IS GUYS!
This place is wonderful, and has the best Horchata i've ever tried. Their pupusas are big and delicious, and they have a lot of variety on their menu.
Good Salvadorian food, no ground beef crunchy tacos with American cheese here! Good service and great food. I will definitely be back!
The place smells, it's loud and no one speaks English but the food is sooo gd! Their papusas are to die for. I plan on eating there every time I go to amarillo.
Home style Salvadorian food, it was very good. This is also one of the very few, if not the only, place in Amarillo to get pupusas!
Delicious and fresh food,excellent service

The pupusas at panhandle of TX. Leonardo Dcarpio favorite place to eat pupusas
A friend suggested this place, so I decided to give it a shot. I ordered a jalapeno and queso pupusa and Salvadorian fajitas with corn tortillas. The pupusa was surprisingly big and filling, loaded with jalapeno and cheese. It was soft and absolutely delicious! The fajitas were a combination of shrimp, chicken, steak, pork chop, and sausage, with LOTS of veggies. The meat was wonderfully flavored and tender. I was pleasantly surprised by the tortillas, as they were thick corn tortillas...they were a little on the dry side, so not so great to fold, but still had excellent flavor. The salsa was on the wimpy side. But you can ask for "mas picante" and they will bring you out a sauce that is pretty much pure Chile. The prices were a bit on the higher end. The pupusa were $3.50 each, which isn't bad. But the fajitas were over $20 for one person. However, I managed to make three meals out of it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!
OMG this place was great! I wish this was not in Texas! The pupusas were delicious. They definitely no how to flavor the beans and make those tiny things flavorful. Really nice people as well. This is always scary going somewhere new for me with my allergies but yum yum yum 😋 Their customers were even nice he helped me park in a safe place so my dog was in the shade. She gets air conditioning while I order but still needs shade😁🐶 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fresh papusas and the cabbage was marinated in a good light sauce. The staff was nice and the place was clean and relaxing. Enjoyed watching soccer!!
If you haven't been....you need to go! Everything is made fresh and was delicious! The service was friendly, fast and guests are made to feel welcome! Just loved everything about this restaurant! I now have a favorite place to go to when friends are visiting!
It's a beautiful place, with amazing perfect food 10/10 would go again.

One of our favorite places to eat on Amarillo. Everything we have ordered has been great! Give them a try
Really good food. Tried their Carbonero breakfast and it had a lot of food, couldn't finish it. Most was pretty good. One of the tamales was super mushy tho. Idk if that's how it was supposed to be but didnt care for it much.
Really enjoyed the pupusas, but don't recommend the tamalies. The wrap they're cooked in is made out of plastic; which ruins the taste. I WILL give this 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟if they're made the original way.
This is the only place in AMARILLO that I have found el Salvadoran food. I like it and go there when I'm craving popusas. If you don't know Spanish your only option is to point to tthe menu to order or take a translator with you.
Had one Waiter in the restaurant. He worked really hard to keep up. I give him credit. He did well. Food was good. Could use some more Waiter/Waitresses to improve service.
Food is delicious especially anything with plantains. Service is a little bit slow since they are few wait staff and a lot of hungry customers.
The service wasn't really that good, which is why I took off a star, but the ladies were really nice! Plus the food was legit, I recommend the Horchata here!
Food is great, waitress was a different story but the food is really good specially the caldo.
New experience. New food for me. Somewhat unusual for a Ukrainian woman but pretty good. As for me, there is a lot of salt in the food, but in general it is tasty. Friendly staff and happy atmosphere with fun music.
Our waiter wasn't that great. Not a conversationalist at all and not too attentive. The food however was phenomenal. I do however wish that the tortillas were homemade.

Fresh made food. Great central américa variety of dishes. I did not give 5 stars because it looks like waitresses make you wait sometimes to take your order when you know they are not busy.
I loved the atol de elote. The pupusas were great and big. One was enough for me. The bathroom are not big At all. They are not accessible for average wheelchair users fortunately my wheelchair is small. All in all the restaurant is clean and the people are nice. Definitely we’ll be back.
Pupusas are delicious and they are a good size. Only problem is your are not greeted!! Seems like waitress is forced to work there and looks upset most of the time. We did not get no refills, we had to ask for them. We waited a good hour to get our pupusas and food came in episodes. By the time we were done eating, my childrens food was just getting there. NOT a good place to take your family to eat.

The food is tasty, but if you are starving, make yourself comfortable because they take a very long time to bring the food out ( happened twice).
They will take 40 minutes or more for make the food or more if they are serving more than 7 tables
Every time i go to the restaurant the waitresses are slooooowwww they take for ever to serve and to bring out the drinks!!!! they hardly smile, the last time i ordered thru the phone the lady got my order wrong, i was in my lunch break and it made me upset because i am in a rush to go back to work and don't have the time for them to ask permission for one of her legs or arms to move at a fast pace! The only thing that's keeping up that Restaurant is the food, the food is good! Service is horrible!!!!!!

Be really careful with this place I took my wife to eat at this place and we had the worst nightmare food poisoning we both end up at bsa urgent care, be careful, check your food before eating.
Food way over priced, beans looked and tasted horrible, rice was disgusting, took forever to come out good thing we had our boss with us or we would all have been late back to work from lunch never again🤢🤮
I went to eat to this place this evening, my order was a Mariscado Salvadoreńa (coconut soup) and as everyone can see is missing the most notable thing on the plate as you can see in the menu picture, besides that, there was no taste to coconut whatsoever and only came with 2 shrimps 1 small piece of fish and 2 oysters. I did ate all 5 pieces but nothing esle. I explained to the waitress and they offered me another soup but I didn't want to waist more time for something so miserable like that soup. So I paid for it and took off never to come back to this place again.

Service was really bad first we had to wait a long time for a waiter. Then she rushed our orders in. She had a really bad attitude. Of course she got our orders wrong multiple times. Pupusas were not that good. It took over hr for us to get our food being that it took long of course food was cold and saggy.
