Great staff, cool atmosphere, eclectic group of peeps, and great band playing... Hangman!!!!

This is my first time going enjoyed it they had a really good band.

Great place for live music! Decent variety of country, rock, and classics.

My brother & I are in town from North West Arkansas to visit a family on hospice. I found this play on google & picked it based on google reviews. Quite pleased just what we were looking for, a small town feel & friendly faces with good live music, pool tables, & great staff!

I'm going there tonight! So happy to find some karaoke on a Tuesday in Amarillo! Way to get that listed for your patrons to find! Good publicity usually means good everything!

This place isn't too crowded and plays great music. It's a little Smokey and there's not a lot if drink specials but this is one of my favorite places to go.

Live music just about every weekend. But no huge cover charge. (Sometimes a small one) friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks...

Lee Scheetz band was great. The drinks are very reasonably priced. Waitresses were overworked but managed to keep a great attitude. Dance floor is large enough to accommodate several dancers. Highly recommended for the 40+ crowd.

The sound guy doesn't try to blow the roof off of the building and we enjoy having the dance floor in front of the stage to dance and support live music on Friday and Saturday nights! Not to mention the fact that they offer an open mic night every Wednesday night open to anyone who would like to show off their talent. Many local musicians consider Whiskey River their home! Karaoke every Thursday night as well as 2 Pool Tables, Golden Tee Golf, Dart Boards and BIG Screen TV's when we want to check out a sport event without sitting at home allows a little something to entertain almost anyone! I highly recommend Whiskey River to anyone looking for a smaller comfortable place for live music, and a beverage without the high prices and over-crowding!

Help out this great local Bar. My awesome friend Renea is cooking amazing food on Friday night's and I believe the fryer is on for other nights. Stop in for a great burger, Jalapeno Chicken Bites or even the house made fresh salsa and chips! I put Salsa first cuz it's just Garden fresh. The drinks are well done and the staff is very friendly. Go in and grab a Shiner and a great burger! You're welcome.

Friendly and welcoming people. There weren't a lot of people on a Sunday night but the atmosphere was fun and not to awkward.

They now offer food. With all the restrictions they weren't busy. Other than that great place. Enjoy

Me and some friends got there Saturday they were doing karaoke which was fun. What I was most impressed with was the cost for drinks. So cheap! we had a great time. There's pool tables darts and room to dance. The bartender was prompt but not the most friendly. She was busy and maybe just having a day.( We all do)

Our server, Denise, I believe her name, was so pleasant and served us well. the beer was really cold, we enjoyed it very much. we had an early supper. My husband had a hamburger and he really enjoyed it. Plus, the onion rings were delicious!!

Flat off key. Sounded like high school kids trying to be someone. The antics of some high or drunk guys was ridiculous. Whisky River has great bands. I never seen another bad one. People are friendly bartenders are great especially Vallerie.

Just like any bar music can be too loud at times place can get crowded tempers can flare if you like throwing darts they got four boards you know shooting a game pool I got two tables that's good but what they do have is great drinks and great servers and then they got good food actually pretty damn good food there's usually DJ there with a big dance floor and if not there's a lot of band and if none of that is there there's a jukebox that you can play whatever you want it's a great location plenty of parking and lots of good people in there Donnie is a good man I love what he's doing with the place

My bloody Mary was obviously made with care and included a lime and olives!! The one bartender was very friendly. She checked on us numerous times to make sure we were ok. They have $1 pool tables and darts. They have a jutebox and live music. Small dance floor surrounded by tables. My only negative was that they do allow smoking here. Not a negative for everyone but it irritates my eyes and you smell horrible when you leave. But even with that I will probably return.

I've visited multiple times with friends. Drinks are over priced, but the service is generally good. A couple pool tables, a dance floor, and set up for djs. Nothing special here.

Staff is friendly but their drinks are much more expensive than other bars in the area. If it hadn’t been for our fave band playing there, would have gone elsewhere.

Saw Lee Scheetz and Borderline. Good singer but the the music sucked. Swinging Doors isn't supposed to sound like ACDC. Mixed drinks were extremely weak

No food. Don't fix any mixed drinks. Service wasn't good. But the band was great.

I was treated so poorly that I will NEVER go back to Whiskey River. The night started okay because I was there to support my friend for their comedy night but quickly went down hill. I got carded when I ordered a Coors. The waitress looked at my ID and told me I was not old enough (I’m 22). I asked her if my birthday was before or after their posted date of 2/7/97. She told me 1996 was after 1997. I was slightly stunned but asked her to look at the date again and she told me the same thing after which she threw my ID back at me and said “I guess your old enough.” Either way I will never be going back but I do believe everyone should be able to distinguish that 96 comes BEFORE 97. If I could leave a 0 star rating I would gladly.

Nice place, Too much smoke and not enough ventilation 😕 personally I would not let anyone smoke in there. They are loosing business and don’t even know it. .

Had a great time till I decide to leave then to find out I made a mistake when I left my wallet there so when I got back I had $20 swollen from my wallet! This is a bar I will never go back to! Thank you to whoever stole my money because I have no food money for the next 2 weeks.

The show was postponed we don't know until when I walked into the whiskey river bar and they didn't even know what I was even talking about so I was totally humiliated. And when you go to the girls night out the show it said it was postponed but it has no details of when or where the show will be held if at all and on the website it said that they do not do refunds so I'm out all this money I spent on two tickets plus two t- shirt tickets so I'm kinda upset
