Avis sur Zabon Ramen & Rolls Anaheim
Never misses. This ramen is by far one of the most flavor packed ramen we have ever tried. The spicy miso is our favorite. Staff has fantastic customer service who will answer any questions and quickly assist.
I had the most amazing hand roll sushi experience at Zabon! The quality and freshness of the fish was outstanding, and the rice was perfectly seasoned. The presentation was beautiful and the flavors were out of this world! Highly recommend the salmon, yellow tail and tuna hand rolls. 🍣😍 #handrollsushi #bestsushiever #sushilover
Located in the Anaheim Packing House (top-level). We love this spot, particularly for their hand roll bar which has the ability to run independently from Zabon Ramen. Their rolls are available individually, hand or cut. The rolls are simple and delicious. They can get pricy ($6-$8 per roll) which is no surprise for good sushi. Service is always quick and everything tastes fresh. Seating can become competitive in the Packing House, but they have an outdoor area and are immediately across from general high-top seating along the banister. The Packing House also offers general seating in and around the main building, not to mention at the adjacent Farmer’s Park. I recommend this place to all sushi fans!
I’m not a big fan of ramen but I friend told me is bc I haven’t tried the correct one . So true ! The spicy miso ramen in here is my favorite one so far . The fav loud is on point and the quantity is enough for 1 or 2 max
The food was super delicious! The cashier knew the menu and helped me decide what to eat, it was very appreciated!

I come here for their amazing hand rolls. Recently I saw it was a weekend only thing? Aww that’s too bad. But yeah most of the time the hand roll is left open, I’ve never seen that but I’m like it’s ok get in my belly. Staff are always friendly and get you what you want in no time. Great environment at The Packing House, this place fits in
There's not 1 but 2 vegan ramen options! Ayyyeee. The miso broth was quite flavorful and definitely one of the better vegan ramen's I had. My wife got the spicy vegan ramen and she was very happy with the flavors and spice level. Shame they serve the ramen in paper containers.. it wasn't the easiest to scoop up the bottom bits of the broth. Definitely will be back again.

I love ramens and rolls and found a super good spot. Follow me! Highlights of the menu: 1. Kara age bowl set with fried chicken 2. Cabbage with corn and sauce 3. Karaage dipping sauce 4. Crunchy roll with salmon This is a super convenient spot for ramen and sushi rolls. Located in Anaheim Packing District, it’s so easy to grab my favorite food and go around for round 2, round 3. Very yummy food with cute view of green plants in the Anaheim Packing District. The crunchy roll is so good with super fresh fish. The cabbage and corn salad is also really fresh! Yummyy.
We tried a variety of hand rolls. They make it to order. They are a little on the small side (see picture) but tasty. The lemon pork was crispy and delicious especially with a squeeze of fresh lemon on top.
The food is expensive as hellllll, with the tax and tip it was nearly $20! The food bangs tho, but I do wish they would give you the other half of the egg too. Beautiful location to eat and hang out, and it's fun to watch the chefs through the window prepare your food.
Not bad, quick ramen. There wasn't a line at all on a busy Saturday and the ramen was ready in a few minutes. At like $15 the Zabon was alright. It tasted fine and wasn't anything special but if you're craving ramen it'll do the job. It kinda fits right in with the vibe of the packing house as it's a quick cafeteria style ramen. Food: 6/10 Service: 5/10 Atmosphere: 5/10 Value: 6/10

We had the spicy miso ramen and some fried chicken. The Ramon is alright, nothing stands out. The price is kinda expensive for the amount. The environment was good with open space.
Overall I'd say this place was pretty good. I thought the ramen was just alright, not bad. I like that there is onion in the ramen. Also, the chashu was tender. But my wife and I agreed that overall it lacked a lot of flavor in general. The spicy one wasn't that spicy or have much spicy flavor to it. It kind of just tasted plain. Again, not bad ramen, just plain. The other big problem is the price due to the location. Every venue in the Anaheim Packing House is way too expensive because it's an expensive place to set up shop. We went for their grand opening, so the ramen was only $12, but that is without additional toppings. We like having the boiled egg in our ramen and that is an extra $2. The ramen is normally $15/$16 already and comes with minimal toppings. Each extra topping is another buck or two and that will add up quickly if you like lots of toppings and flavor on your ramen like I do. Overall the meal was just fine, but probably not someplace we'd be eager to try again, especially for the price, which is the biggest downside. If you're comfortable with the price, I'd say give it a shot and see what you think.

I got the vegan spicy miso ramen and the vegan hand rolls. The quality is exactly the same as most other vegan ramen I've tried. There's a decent variety of veggies in there. The tofu is firm but unseasoned. The rolls sound really unique and interesting but were disappointing in person. They are pretty big, but they had way too much rice and no filling. It was overpriced for what it was. If you're looking for above average ramen, I wouldn't come here. Can't speak to the non-vegan options.

After walking around the Anaheim Packing House twice, I settled on Zabon, an unassuming ramen shop, tucked between a hand roll bar and an Indian stand on the second floor. The menu was simple and easy to read and I debated between the three types of ramen; settling on the Zabon ramen which I’ve assumed is their house ramen. I also added a flavored egg to my ramen and got their karaage as a side since it’s one of my favorite dishes. The server taking my order ignored all eye contact and was curt when I lingered a moment too long to choose my dishes. After handing me my buzzer, she immediately vanished before I could ask any question. It took about 15 minutes or so before my buzzer went off and I went to receive my meal. The same server briefly acknowledged my existence that time and let me know that there was some utensils available on the counter. If you got the karaage and love spice, I would recommend grabbing the spicy mayo. Taking my first bite and sip of the ramen with its broth, I was severely disappointed by the lack of flavor and lackluster. The soup had little to zero salt and was very underwhelming and the chashu was overcooked and very chewy. The only item I liked in the ramen was the flavored egg that I added, it was perfectly poached and actually flavorful. The karaage was also not too shabby, it’s difficult to mess up fried chicken. With the lemon and spicy mayo, I enjoyed the chicken at least. Overall, this place was unfortunately forgettable, I don’t recommend eating here unless you enjoy flavorless ramen.
Not sure what happened to the spicy miso ramen 🍜 here but last year the broth was flavored perfectly. Full bodied, not too salty, perfect umami and nicely spicy. Yesterday was bland, it just tasted like oily broth. That's it. It was a let down. Not worth the hassle of coming here anymore.

I got the "omakase" hand rolls. Super disappointing. Only 2 of the 5 rolls had raw fish, the other 3 were cooked. Of the cooked rolls, one was eel (it was okay but pretty tasteless), one was some kind of faux crab salad (or who knows what), and one was literally tuna salad (fine for ongiri filling, but preposterously lame for a hand roll). The 2 raw rolls were pretty poor quality fish and basically tasteless. It was some of the laziest food that I have had in a long while.

Extremely disappointing! The sushi was pre packed and not at all fresh plus the service was terrible. It was confusing where I was getting everything from and when I asked for help the server was snarky. Would not recommend the hand roll, the ingredients were soggy and stale.

I was there on Monday afternoon checking out this place, my daughter was craving a vegetarian roll which this is the only restaurant inside the packing house that sells sushi, I asked the girl if I was able to make special request my daughter only wanted avocado inside she told me it will cost the same price when I was about to change my mind and just go somewhere else she suggested I can get the crabmeat and cucumber on the side which I thought was a great idea, I was standing around waiting for my order I just want to say I overheard “manager” or chef I’m not sure exactly who he was but I overheard him telling her it’s not ok for her to sell sushi the way i got it because it’s giving more food away in which the girl responded what do you mean she’s getting what comes in the roll she just wants it on the side? I totally agree because it’s not less money without crab meat so it makes sense never coming here again, that chef/manager aura/vibe is just not it. Thank you to the sweet girl that helped me out. …I suggest to go to a different sushi restaurant instead of coming here if u like to make special request as I did especially if you are vegetarian they don’t have rolls that are vegan and if u remove the crabmeat it’s still going to cost you about 10-12$.
For the prices and quality, please do not come here. I was just recently here for lunch today and I ordered a salmon avocado roll. The salmon went bad and was sold to me. I now have food poisoning and just threw up. Please be mindful of what sushi/raw fish you consume. I’ve been eating raw fish for years and ordered the same roll other places, but never experienced food poisoning until here. Very disappointed.
Got the Zabon Ramen. Pork: 4/5 Broth: 0/5 Instant ramen is 5x better. Zabons's broth is too bland. $20 wasted for a bowl.
