Dave & Buster's - Anchorage

01/22 First off, drinks where on point. Not over powered and good flavor. App was amazing. Stickies ribs get them. How ever Burger was over cooked asked for mid-rare it came out well done. French dip was missing an ingredient it was sposed to come with pork and did not. Over all management was understanding and remade my burger. 3/11/22 Decided to give them another chance. Came back to some of the best service I've ever received. Our server let us know right up front how busy it was. After taking our drink orders, witch we're amazing again. We order the giant pretzel, and wings.

Spent a night here on vacation with the family and had so much fun. Hawaiian chicken sandwich was great. Good fries. Kids Mac n Cheese was basically boxed Kraft, so not worth the money. Service was good enough. Staff safely stored our backpacks for free. Games were almost all functioning correctly. Maybe two that weren't. You're going to spend some money, but it's family fun.

Hello, this is not really a complaint more of a suggestion… while scrolling through the app. I saw the notification of being able to get a winter pass. I got very excited about this because as a single mother of two children living in Alaska, it is difficult at times to find things fun for us to do indoors. When I went to inquire about it, Anchorage, Alaska is not one of the participating states. It’s normally a VERY special day when we get to go to Dave & Buster’s because for my budget, it is a little bit expensive. I just found out I hit icon status which gives a free entrée which is pretty sweet🎉😁 I really think it would be helpful to do more days of half price games like you do on Wednesdays as well as offering the winter unlimited passes to Alaskans. As far as the app and how easy you’ve made it to transfer points and money on cards, I think it’s excellent. We also love the VR games and love to take a VR ride every time we visit, however we have had the same four games for the last six years with only one or two new ones ever being added. I think giving us some new VR games for the children and I to enjoy would be AWESOME. Our favorite is the Men in black Experience. One last thing I just thought of ….the gift shop is pretty spectacular as far as what the kids get to choose from but I have noticed over the years. The options haven’t changed much. I think it would be nice to get some new choices as well as getting the giant crane machine up and running with giant balls again!

This is a go to place for me whenever I visit the big city of Anchorage. The staff is friendly and the food is tasty. My only quibble is why on earth would you serve Atlantic salmon in Alaska?!

They have really good arcade prices! You can spend $50 here and last about 1 hour playing games! Very solid arcade games I won a lot in the jewelry claw machine, they restock the claws a lot which means lots of wins! The staff are nice and helpful like when I won in a claw machine it got stuck but the staff kindly opened the machine and gave it to me no extra pay. All of the games worked no error. I get to go back today so maybe u can edit my review if anything bad happens ( it won’t Dave and Busters it GOATED). Bye!

If the young staff paid attention to our order, all of us would have gotten the correct meals. Despite the mishap we still at what was given to us. Maybe more attentive to patrons and less socializing amongst other workers.

Juan was one of the best bartender I’ve had. A+++. Very knowledgeable about the restaurant and gave great reviews on the menu. great atmosphere and recommended for all parties. If you want top shelf service; Juan is your man that can make it happen.

Great D&B, perfect for Military and perfect for a date, even with the kids tagging along. Prices are proper on all amenitities

Very friendly and attentive staff, from the game techs to the servers and various other employees you never need help for long. If youre at Dave and Busters, then you are surely smiling.

Great for children and adults alike. A little loud for my taste, but doable. There apparently is an established time for table use, however, it doesn't seem to be enforced, which is rather annoying when one only has so much time available and would like to play a quick couple games.. other than that ..service was good, food was also good.

Timmy is an outstanding manager with wonderful customer service. We enjoy coming in just to see him not only interact with everyone but to make sure everyone is happy. Every time I come in he’s always in a cheerful mood helping out his teammates and making sure they are having a good time as well. I had a few issues with my order and without doubt not only did he fix it but he also made sure that we were satisfied and the wait time was compensated. He definitely deserves something special. Our server ruby was also fantastic checking up on us and making sure everything was up to par. These two are a good combo working together!

It is fun place.. Like having Vegas in Alaska with games, food and drinks. Little too loud, level was over 80db so table conversations were not that fun. Getting table and food took a while and I understand they were short on staff. Food is good value if you buy token card with the meal. We had fun and will come again... but we may have a meal somewhere else.

Service was lacking, food was average and overpriced (drinks significantly) but that was expected. Games were fun!

It's noisy, but the kids like it! The staff was great and I enjoyed the food. Not my typical atmosphere but a good family excursion!

The burger I had tasted like grease with a side of flavor. The chicken tenders were okay but I wouldn't call them a meal. The server was great. The games, as always, was the highlight. We had a good date night just goofing off here. Don't look for a good meal but you can have a great time. The bar area is set as a sports bar. Lots of televisions in every direction. Some beers and a game would be a great time as well.

The family and I went to D&B to dine for the first time. The environment was so loud we couldn't even talk to each other. Not complaining since it is to be expected, due to the adjoining arcade. I ordered fish and chips, it was cod, however it was so fishy. Tasted aweful. The French fries are good though. My family had burgers, and one had Alfredo, which they enjoyed. The food is on the spendy side, small to med size portions. The service was ehh, could be a tad better but the lady was nice enough. I personally wouldn't go back to dine, but to each is their own.

My kids adore the place… I have far too much anxiety to be there for too long. So it’s just not for me, but great for little and big gamers!

Went in late afternoon. Overall, not bad if you're looking for a big and loud place where you don't have to interact with anyone. Typical game bar atmosphere - lots of noise coming off of numerous TV screens all around the restaurant plus the noise coming from the gaming area next to the restaurant. Service was a bit slow and the food was so-so. I ordered salmon and the sauce was on a saltier side. The rice that came with my dish was very sticky, which I don't think it's supposed to be sticky. Again, not bad for a gaming bar but, this is not what I, as a customer, want for my eating out experience. This was my first time at this place.

Very loud, maybe have a sensory day? I felt overwhelmed with the lights and every game sound trying to fight with every other. I know that's the point, just not my thing. Staff seemed happy enough and extremely busy, hopefully they have some down time. I only saw one group of employees who seemed to be going about something with ease and taking their time. Food was passable. Definitely getting near chain fast food level. The bang bang chicken in particular stuck out at me. Not sure if it was prepared correctly, but the sauces used felt conflicting and not pleasing to the mouth. The game concept was interesting to say the least. Lots of games i have never seen before and many more i hadn't expected to see. Some of them seem buggy or a pain to try and play with a friend, example being the basketball connect 4. Both of us ended up playing against the computer when trying to play together. I am still not sure what games to play in the selection if you want to go about getting prizes, many of them seem more of a "thanks for playing, insert credit to play again". For the sonic Olympics it would be nice if the arcade record was posted. I was told i got third overall, but was not given a lineup. Just that i had first in my round.

Food is ok. Very disappointed that there was a great number of items not available. I asked about several items and was told they were no longer available. Then why not note that somewhere 🤔. Ended up ordering 2 apps. My spouse's food was weirdly cold on the outside but warm on the inside. Food seemed warmed in a microwave. The employee was friendly. Later was given the wrong order to pay for. My spouse didn't notice he had paid for a different table. The employee noticed after he was bringing back a receipt my spouse had to ask for. It was $25 more then our order. Management 'fixed' it but it will take up to a week to see the money back in our account. That's a tad over $100 waiting for! Very disappointed.

It’s basically a glorified game room with a Casino atmosphere. If you want to acclimate your child on how to grow a hole in their pocket then this is the place! All that is missing is a bowling alley and a peanut vendor!

I'm not one to usually give such poor reviews but I feel its important for future visitors to have a heads up. Time of visit: Saturday 4:30-8:00pm. 4 people in party. GAMES - good time - definitely a lot of little kids running around- No drinks allowed outside the dining area. Fun Prizes DINING - Slow Service - We ordered drinks, entrees and desserts. It took 2+ hours!! I finally just asked for my dessert to be brought out in a to-go container because it was taking so long & we had already paid. Food wasn't terrible. Even had some gluten free options for our friend. Drinks were very good.

Horrible service in the food section. Pretty clean venue and the games all seemed to operate alright. Point store seemed super outrageous honestly. You'd have to spend an arm and a leg on tickets and then spend 5 hrs playing before winning enough to get any sort of decent prize.

horrible service at billiards, was there 1.5 hours and wasn’t even greeted. went to the bar to get a water and root beer and bartender wouldn’t even look at me. food runner was excellent though

I love taking my kids to this place but EVERY SINGLE TIME we go they mess up our food and then spend 30-45 minutes to correct it. The first time it was completely forgetting my wifes food, the time before last it was taking 30 minutes after seating us to give us a server and still never bringing my cocktail. This most recent time they sat us down and then we waited 3 and half business days to place our order only to get very cold and soggy fries. Even the time my wife had food deliverd from here, they sent the wrong sides. I won't be eating here again, this went well beyond 3 strikes and I'm done throwing money away.

Tried to play pool with my Nephew. The service desk told us to talk to the other desk. That desk told us to talk to the hostess in front of the bar. The hostess told us to talk to the bartender. The bartender told us to talk to the service desk. Disappointing service

The waitress was more interested in flirting with some guy that she forgot to put in half our order. Then when we reminded her after almost an hour of waiting, it was wrong. It was our first time there and chances are we won't be back for the food as it was trash.

Very disappointed, sirloin was like a sole, shrimp like a joke, small and salty, French fries cold .. second time we face this situation.. and we had to wait 30 minutes to get food

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Wait staff was okay, but the kitchen just could not get the food out on time or correct. Not the right fries as originally ordered, when they came out they were cold, Burger was not cooked anywhere near a safe temperature despite being asked for medium, and after all that, they even sent out another Burger very raw. Note, both of these burgers were to be eaten by children under 12. The first was eaten some, the other we refused to let be touched; we cut it in half out of pure curiosity. The manager ended up making things okay by not charging us for the food, but still a raging disappointment for one of the first get-togethers with all my extended family in a long time.

Worst experience. Me and my friends went and we all ordered chicken tender meals for one the fries were way to salted and the chicken tenders were a joke hardly any chicken and very dry. When I tried calling the manager which I did she explained there's nothing I can do as you didn't asked or a manager in the beginning or mentioned it to our server's. " which we did by the way because our server noticed right off the bat that our two gentleman didn't even eat their food because the chicken stripes were very dry and very small and the fries were over seasoned. When I called the manager dshone she stated that this isn't the first time and that we should have asked for a manager and we did express that the food and drinks were appalling and she just smiled and said, " she's busy and has half the dinner to herself." But when I looked she didn't and when I explained to the supervisor she laughed at me and said that I needed to get a manager right away at that point which I tried and no one came up. Tell me is this worth $13.00 .

Food was good. Server was nice. Had a few problems with them wiping all the tickets and money off of our cards but they fixed all that. The thing that was most frustrating is they tried to make me double tip. Waitress brought out the ticket and wanted us to quickly go over it. I happen to see that they auto tipped 20% at the bottom of the ticket. When she took my card and ran it they didn’t bring an itemized copy back to the table and she made sure to point out that they had the recommended tipping percentages at the bottom of our copy. Super frustrated that they tried to sneak that in when we were already spending several hundred dollars on food and games. I don’t mind paying a tip but don’t try and get a double tip.

Don't bother getting anything to go. They WILL forget your drink 100% of the time. It seems like completing an order is too intellectually challenging for the employees here.

My wife was refused service tonight with her New Mexico real ID ( with the Star and everything). We came here for a date night and to watch the Seahawks game. Five employees, including a manager, looked at it and continued to say it’s fake after showing them *a picture of* her passport and a picture from her 2012 high school graduation. She was refused service. We are both 31 years old. Both of us were sober, just getting a drink to watch the end of the game before grabbing a pick-up order in the mall. I would understand if she had an older ID, but it’s a Real ID. It’s good enough for TSA and a serious background check for her job. She even has global entry. We were trying to spend a lovely date night together. Oh and if she was underage, why’d they let us sit at the bar while I finished my beer? Wild.

So I went here last night with my family, we’re a big party, so of course we had a reservation. At first everything was going fine and we were having a good time. Then we were brought our food and the majority of our fries were cold, my little sister even got a completely uncooked one. So we tell our waitress and she feels them, yada yada, she’s like okay yeah they’re cold, I’ll get you new ones. Which sucks but Yk they got us new ones so we were like okay whatever, it’s fine. But then we go on and get the check. And she tried to charge us for them😐. Then acted like it was the biggest inconvenience ever even though, they were the ones serving us cold food. Don’t eat at this place, we’ve given them chance after chance and every time they let us down with their service.

I am a regular here at Dave and Busters. I was trying to order some wings and a server/waitress named "Chyna" that was supposedly our server at the pool area wasn't there so I had to go to the front. So then she came by our area and when we ordered our food she was giving unnecessary attitude and just straight up rude. When we were going to pay our tab, she drop her plate aggressively and grabbed the manager to talk to me. The manager was pretty nice and able to sort things out.

Honestly one of the worst service ever specifically talking about Chyna worst ever I go there everyday and every time I get her as my server either I don’t get any service at all or she gives us attitude. The best service I got from them is Emily she is so nice and makes us feel happy to go there but achy a in the other hand I never write reviews but she accused me and my brother as not paying when we go there 5 times a week and lie and got the manager and started raising her voice and giving us attitude. I don’t take this very lightly either but this time actually feels like I need to write a review on it.

It was a horrible experience. Sat for almost 2 hours and still didn't have my food. The appetizers came out twice. The first time cold and the second time in a togo box. Why would they be boxed up if we are seated for dinner. Then only 1 of 2 entrees came out 45 minutes after the apps. Waited another 30 minutes then said I am only paying for what hit the table. Left hungry and unhappy.

🤮Ordered garlic fries,🤮 omg disgusting... garlic sauce was apparently applied with a bucket..🤮 absolutely drenched on, 25 min still not soaked into fries... stll no service, talked to me ??? Once.... lames town. recommendations for eating almost anywhere else...🤮 cost way to much..... 4 no service and garlic with a little potatoes on the side somewhere

Concern Regarding Service and Management at Dave & Buster’s Dear Management Team, I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the overall service and management quality at your location. Unfortunately, my recent visits have been very disappointing due to repeated issues with both the gaming and dining areas. Most of the gaming machines are frequently out of order, which creates frustration for guests who pay to enjoy the experience. Additionally, I have noticed that several front-desk employees appear to lack proper training. Many seem unsure about basic tasks such as printing coupons, and rather than assisting customers promptly, they often continue with cleaning or other tasks instead of providing immediate service. Guests should always be the top priority. The dine-in service has also been consistently poor. Servers often take initial orders but rarely return to check if customers need anything further. There seems to be a lack of supervision and accountability during busy hours, particularly on weekends. It would be beneficial for management to ensure that a supervisor is always present to guide new staff and maintain service standards. This situation has occurred multiple times during my visits with colleagues, which indicates a pattern rather than an isolated incident. It is disappointing to see such a decline in service compared to other Dave & Buster’s locations, which maintain much higher standards. I sincerely urge the management team to review staff training, improve customer service, and ensure proper supervision during all shifts. Guests visit to have a pleasant experience, and it’s crucial that your team reflects the fun, energetic, and professional atmosphere that Dave & Buster’s is known for. At this point, I would rate this location’s experience as extremely poor and would reconsider returning unless significant improvements are made. Waited to be seated for 20 minutes, got seated at a dirty table. Ordered within 20 minutes, waited 20 minutes for one item and 55 minutes for the other which never came because they ran out of item. Today’s trip to Dave and busters costed $23 and took 1 hour and 45 minutes in total.
