i dont agree with other reviews when they say that their customer is lackluster, their customer service has always been spot on for me. recently i ordered a quadruple whopper and they went out of their way to make that order happen. it was actually pretty funny and we all had our laugh.

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but the Burger King on Antonio Street in Anthony, TX truly deserves it especially because of the incredible manager, Angel, and his hardworking crew. Every time I’ve stopped by, whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, or a late-day meal, the service has been top-notch. Angel always greets customers with genuine kindness and professionalism, and you can tell he takes pride in making sure everything runs smoothly. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming, the dining area, restrooms, and even the drive-thru line are kept in great shape. The team moves efficiently, even during busy hours, and they always get my order right. You can tell the crew respects Angel’s leadership, because they all work together with a positive attitude and friendly energy that you don’t see often in fast food. Angel himself deserves special recognition. He goes out of his way to make sure every customer leaves happy. On one visit, I saw him help an elderly couple carry their trays and check that their food was just right that small act of kindness really stood out to me. Another time, when the restaurant got unexpectedly busy, he jumped right in alongside his team instead of just giving orders. That kind of leadership says a lot. The food is consistently fresh and hot, and they always make sure everything looks and tastes great. The fries are crisp, the burgers are juicy, and the drinks are perfectly mixed simple things, but they make a big difference when done right. Overall, this Burger King is a great example of what fast food should be: friendly, fast, and reliable. Thanks to Angel and his awesome team, it’s easily one of the best Burger Kings I’ve ever been to. The people that work here are so incredibly sweet and kind. I ordered in the app. I paid extra for tomatoes onions and pickles. I'm not sure who does their ordering for their produce but the tomatoes that came on my Whopper size sandwich were the size of a cherry tomato that you would get on a salad bar. Keep this in mind when you place an order here that you're not going to find a tomato unless you have some type of magnifying glass they are tiny. If you don't believe me please take a gander at my picture for reference that is actually two pieces of tomato whoever ordered this produce should be ashamed. I'll continue to come here because it's convenient. I'll consider ordering tomato in the future but most likely if I want to tomato I'll need to bring my own. These tomatoes are sad.

Alright food at very good prices, this place is good for when you need to grab a quick bite to eat or dont have much time and dont feel like cooking dinner.

The food and service here is just average. Nothing spectacular. The restaurant did also need to be swept and mopped.

Service is a little iffy depending on who is at the register. It is however very clean and comfortable. However, I'm not sure if they'll ever do anything about the scratched up Oldies CD they keep on loop. Eternally skipping around.

Their service was slow. When my mother I arrived there, we were the only people ordering inside. It took just over 25 minutes to get our food because they were more concerned about pleasing the drive thru customers. It's something they need to work on since this time was the longest we've ever had to wait. Other times have been a 10-15 minute wait but that was when there were more customers inside.

I eat Burger King a lot. But this place was not good. The buns would crumble, meaning they were old. The patties were dry as if sitting under a heat lamp.

What happened to burger KING. It's been a while since I have gotten anything from them, and it's for a reason. It seems like any location I go has the same problem, over cooked chicken and salty patties. This time, it's no exception. This is by far the worst Burger King I have ever been to. I asked for no condiments on 2 out of the 3 burgers I ordered and on one burger just the meat and cheese. Ordered food and kids were playing in the kids section. Once the food was made they told us we couldn't use the kids area they were rude about it too even tho I spent around 50.00. Asked for a refund and took kids to McDonald's. Would not recommend.

They barely even have variety of things. Tables are dirty especially windows, like come on... it's common sense that you are supposed to keep a business clean, now I know the exact reason why it's dead. Its too dirty. These people know we are in a middle of a pandemic and that people out there are dying, so I ask nicely to keep this restaurant clean as your own house. They give little attention to the customers. Burgers are always cold. Everything is less than lukewarm half the time. I have even found a hair in my food twice. This pace needs revamp and to provide better quality food.

Food not up to my expectations and I go to burger king all the time back home in San Antonio this is the first time I have been let down bad. Whooper burger little to much salt on the meat bun was not toasted cold. Like if they just open the bag of buns and put meat on it. Jalapeno bites still cold in the middle of them had to put them in microwave. Salad looks like the smaller garden salad not the bigger portion of it. For that price should of gotten the smaller one. French fries over cooked bad not fresh like if they been there for a while.

Went through drive through ordered a 20 piece chicken nuggets and an ordered of mozzarella cheese sticks. I was short changed on the chicken nuggets and the mozzarella cheese sticks were refried hard and dry. When I got home I saw the ordered and called to tell them. The girl who took my ordered said she prepared it. She was like she couldn't understand what I was saying. So I told her in English and Spanish. She frustrated me so I hung up on her. So now I know not to go there again.

Visiting in town and this store was the closest to the hotel. Food was cold like it had been sitting there already. This was around 8:30-9ish pm Ordered chicken nuggets for my toddler daughter. 30 minutes later she's throwing up all her food and it's now 2 am she has throw up 5 times now.

Long wait, veggie burger was lukewarm, cheated us on nuggets. We ordered 4-10 piece nuggets, 2 lg fries, veggie burger combo sm, and big fish combo med no pickles. I noticed that when I pulled the nuggets out of the bag one was less full than the other. I counted and two bags had 8, two bags had 9. The box for the small and medium fries had different coloring but the difference in size was about 1/4" in height. Exact same amount of fries. Veggie burger wasn't even hot... worst experience ever. Couldn't comment on their website...errors... smh

I’ve had some of the worst experiences at this Burger King location. The service is absolutely terrible, and the attitude of the employees is beyond unacceptable. They act like helping customers is a burden, and their lack of professionalism is shocking. One time, it took forever for my food to come out—even though there wasn’t a long line. The wait was ridiculous for what should’ve been a quick stop. On top of that, there have been multiple occasions when they were supposed to be open, but the doors were locked, and the drive-thru was closed. What’s the point of posted hours if they aren’t followed? To make matters worse, the speaker in the drive-thru is so messed up that you can barely hear or understand anything. It makes ordering a frustrating and time-consuming process. This location seriously needs better management and customer service training. I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Ordered a melt- got raw onions on it instead of grilled. Very much not the same thing. Store was filthy inside. Multiple dirty tables trash cans overflowing. Dirty behind line as well, visible food on floor, dirty counters, etc. No lines, almost empty store employees chatting and joking. What is the point of customizing your burger if they fix it the way THEY want to. I have tomato allergies and asked no ketchup or tomatoes and guess what??? Seemed like extra tomatoes and my burger drenched in ketchup! Way to go Burger King

Store was fully locked and closed at 9:30pm Sat 10/21/2023. All hours signage and website showed dine-in open till 10pm. knocked on door and the workers rudely held up their fingers showing 9 even though they are supposed to be open till 10pm.

Came to this Burger King at 11:26pm nobody would answer the drive thru until we said “Hello” asked for my order and was told their grill was off and it would take 30 minutes to reheat, we said we were ok with that and the girl sounded upset about it. We said we would wait and she repeated herself “ you are going to wait”? We came to the window to pay and she kept talking to another co-worker on the headset saying “it’s still preheating” I don’t understand how they close at 12 so everyone that comes 40 minutes before closing time they turn down by saying their grill is off? Very bad service!! Don’t understand how these people are still running this restaurant with this kind of service. I read through all the reviews and none are positive. Who owns this restaurant? Who do you report this kind of service to?

Horrible experience!! First off while I was ordering a jeep pulled in front of me without ordering. Apparently it was a friend of the drive through employee because they fist bumped and talked for about 5 minutes before they pulled off without being handed anything. I get up there and male employee has his hand out without saying a word. Charges me then hands me my two drinks then turns around to female employee and I can only hear her say that's for him. He gives me my order without saying anything then leaves. I asked for no condiments and chicken sandwich has more mayo then bread! Coke is 3 1/2 way full and so are the fries! Just had one of my worst burgers at this place. I had asked for fries without salt and I was asked to move towards the front because they were being made and when I got the fries, the first fry that I ate was salty as heck. The rest of the fries were bland and slightly warm (not like if they had just been made). I tried a fry from the bottom hoping that they would be better and I ended up with chewing what felt like a bit of dirt. Idk what's going on with the staff but when I was in the retail industry, I would treat the customers nice if they treated me kindly. I guess the same doesn't apply to them.

Do not go to this Burger King. I wish I had looked at the reviews before buying food here. My 1 year old daughter got food poisoning from the chicken nuggets. The food was given to us really fast like it had been sitting out and it wasn't warm. My family and I never eat Burger King we only decided to eat here because it was the closest fast food restaurant to our hotel.

If you order something with bacon you better look at it before you eat it. It was raw. Never again burger king. I'd rather go hungry.

This is by far the worst Burgerking I have ever been to! The worst customer service! I ordered 5 brisket whoppers for the first time. My family all thought there was nothing exciting about them. Until later one of our family members ate theirs and we all noticed that his actually had brisket on it. The first 4 didn't. I called the restaurant and some female who stated that she was the manager answered the phone. I told her what had happened and she said she had to call the general manager who was on shift when we ordered to see what she wanted to do. She said she would call back but never did. I called back after 2 hours and they kept hanging up the phone. I finally got through and the so called manager told me that the general manager said that the I had to take the food in order to replace it. When I asked the manager I was speaking with for her name and the name of the manager she hung up. I called several times again but I got hung up on again! Very unprofessional, especially when it was a mistake they did! I called the next day and asked for the manager, yet another very unprofessional young lady answered the phone and claimed to he a manager. She refused to give me her name saying "I can't give names sorry" and said I needed to speak with the general manager the next day at 4pm but also refused to give me his name. This is reduculous! The lack of professionalism is soo unbelievable. I would stay away from this place if I were you. I know I am. I can't believe nobody has done anything about the service at this place after reading all the negative reviews.

While I was in the area, I was looking for a place to grab a quick lunch, and options were pretty limited especially when it came to fast or ready-made meals. Because of that, I reluctantly stopped at Burger King, even though I’ve always been skeptical about the quality of their burgers based my experience . I usually prefer Wendy’s, as their burgers tend to look and taste the way a proper burger should. Despite holing to get a freshly made burger as advertised on the poster on the same restaurant wall, what I received was far below expectations. The burger looked extremely unappetizing and nothing close to fresh. As shown in the attached photos, it was clearly poorly reheated, likely from frozen patties, and lacked any sign of being freshly prepared.

I walked in at 10 pm and asked if they were still open. The woman (Latina?) at the counter was staring down at the register and didn’t respond. I waited for a moment and asked again, but she continued to ignore me. When I asked a third time and cheerfully said “Hello?”, she finally looked up and snapped at me: “Can’t you see I’m busy?” I was shocked — I’ve never experienced such rude customer service. We simply turned around and left immediately. I will never set foot in this place again.

Only the drive thru is 24 hours, a fact not indicated online. I went through the drive through on my bike after the car in front of me. Waited, but no one took my order, so i went around the side. Turns out, the one person who seemed to working there just ignored me because a bike isn't a vehicle, apparently. Even though i have to obey the say traffic laws as a car. She didn't seem interested in taking my order until i pulled my phone out. Oddly, when she gave me my burgers, they were already cold and the cheese not melted. Are they microwaving already made burgers, I wonder?

Although the map indicated 24-hour service, I arrived at the store at 10 PM to find the door locked. Only a small window for the service driver remained open, with five or six people waiting outside the window and no one inside – it seemed like only one person was working in the kitchen. I left without ordering anything.

As she entered, a young child politely held the door open for her. Suddenly, a female staff member—an African American woman—ran from behind the counter and aggressively told my wife she couldn't use the bathroom unless she made a purchase. My wife calmly explained that we *were* placing an order. Instead of showing understanding, the staff member refused to listen, dismissing the situation entirely. When my wife pointed out she was pregnant, the worker callously responded, "I don't care." Then, without provocation, she accused my wife of being racist. Let me be clear: my wife is not Caucasian—she is brown—and even if she were, that would not justify this kind of treatment. Her appearance shouldn’t trigger anyone’s assumptions. This encounter was offensive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. We are disgusted by the behavior at this location. No one—especially a pregnant woman—should be treated this way. I will continue to report this issue and leave reviews until we receive a formal apology from Burger King.

I placed an order through the app (which went through), but was greeted with a hand-written "closed" sign. No idea how to get a refund. Meanwhile there's a big "open 24/7" sign in the window. Just be honest and list the hours you're actually open.
