A nice, clean and friendly hotel. The owner was very nice to us and the beer was super refreshing after a day of motocycling. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed this day and we had to go elsewhere. The breakfast was very good and we also got italian espresso. The motocycles can be parked in the rear of the house where they are protected. I really recommend this place
Called here for dinner without a reservation- all the staff were so welcoming and friendly and spoke perfect English. The food was amazing, everything we ordered was delicious. Definitely the nicest, tastiest food we have had on our Italian holiday. Would thoroughly recommend eating in this hotel.

We love this hotel. The hosts are very nice and caring. The food for breakfast is very tasty (especially home made pies and cappuccino!), dinner in their restaurant is exceptionally good, we had one of the best steaks in our life and the recommendation for wine was 10/10. This hotel is very kid friendly, very clean, with a nice big parking and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend and come back!
A very nice place to stay with a special friendly and good service/ staff. They even let us park our car for almost a week (while we were trekking). But probably the best thing about this place is its great kitchen and food! We definitely want to come back.
I don't often write reviews, but when the experience is exceptional, - as is the case with Le Charaban - I will. Not so much for the room; there was nothing wrong with that, but for the food and service. The breakfast is extensive and perfect, especially for Italian standards. But most of all I appreciated the diner. Lovely and tastfull and well-prepared dishes, excellent wines, very friendly and helpfull staff; the chef came by after cooking and we had a little talk (using the waitress as translator) and he was very friendly too and offered us some extra's. This was a great experience; above expectation. if I return to Aosta, I will definitively stay in Le Charaban. And I will advise everyone to do so as well. (but keep a room free for me :-) )
Great family owned hotel and restaurant. Room cozy cozy. Lovely view. Restaurant was upscale, delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
Very clean. People are friendly. This hotel is so close to the border ( France) for sky, hiking, eat all at either side you will have tons of fun and great food.
Clean, nice staff and a good restaurant
Perfect starting point for roadbiking around Mont Blanc. Breakfast and dinner is very good. You can park your bike in their garage. Nice helpfull staff.

Lovely hotel in a superb location totally ruined by unhelpful staff and misinformation on food availability. Prior to our arrival, we were told that the Restaurant on the day of our arrival, would be open. The menu looked amazing! On arrival, in an almost unlit Reception area, we were told they had changed their minds and opened the Restaurant the previous evening instead!!!! But wait..the story does not end there! Whilst having a drink in the bar area, a group of people arrived and were taken to the Restaurant and someone started cooking in the kitchen. I am an ex Hotel and Restaurant Inspector and this is the worst service I have ever encountered. Not even a hint of an apology. If they carry on like this, they may not be around next year for anyone to review.
