From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the charming manager Scott seating us within minutes , The dishes we had at Perkins were perfectly balanced, with the omelet cooked to perfection. Our server Arlene was so attentive making sure our cups stayed full and our food hot ! the decor created a relaxing atmosphere. It was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish

I have been coming to this location for many months and find the food to be well prepared and at a reasonable price ( value). The serving staff ( usually Jennifer) and the management (Benet, Scott and I think TJ) have always been attentive and friendly which elevates the dining experience. The location is very convenient /easy to find with ample parking so it is perfect for small ( or large) celebrations. Multiple friends have chosen to celebrate birthdays here this year because the menu is varied, served quickly and hot/ fresh. The staff are extremely cooperative ( so are the other patrons) and ensure we are well looked after throughout our meal.

The service was fabulous and the atmosphere was great! We had a family gathering here and I will admit it would have been tricky to get orders right, but we were assured our orders would be correct. We had 6 of us that are vegetarian and 2 that were not and one person that was lactose free. Imagine our surprise when dishes started coming with bacon on them and when brought up to server we were told you can just push it to the side. I also found pieces of ham and sausage in my hash browns and I'm a vegetarian. And the lactose free person had butter on their toast after being told everything would be to our specification. We chose not to complain because it was a happy family gathering, but for future reference I believe the cook should be more considerate. The server did her part!

Ok, so I placed an online pickup order. There were some issues. But I won’t pick on that too much. I’ve been to this restaurant several times and it was great. This time, some lack of customer service with one of three people, other 2 were great! Got the food when home, eggs Benedict were not cooked right. Chicken fried steak, pancakes, other eggs everything else was delicious. I wrote to corporate to communicate my issues and they responded quickly with what I think was more than what i deserved giving me a full refund - so thank you Perkins, a piece of me wants to go back and give them at least half. We will be back, this was one of several. I appreciated the prompt response and actions, thank you!

We had a great experience at this location when we visited for brunch with the kids. Our server, Ms. Jennifer was the greatest! She was friendly, personable, and very engaging. She spoke to our children and made them feel important and comfortable. When we placed our order, she assisted us with our selections to ensure that we made the most cost-effective choices. She even accommodated our preferences and made it easy for us and our children. I am so glad that we encountered Ms. Jennifer and I hope that she is on the schedule when we return to this location.

I got what they called the Monte Cristo in a pancake, which was like an omelet: it had diced turkey, ham, and cheese, but in a pancake instead of an egg. It wasn't as good as I expected: the taste of the pancake was overwhelming and I couldn't really taste the meat or cheese. And it seemed like the diced meat was only stuffed inside and not overflowing, like the picture on the menu. My wife got the fish and chips and it was terrible! It was basically a few large fish nuggets and a big pile of fries. The fish was hard and seemed like it wasn't fresh, and one of the nuggets was burned! Her dish was NOTHING AT ALL like the photo shown on the website or on the menu! The photo showed 3 long, golden brown pieces with some fries around it, but hers was more like burned nuggets. We complained to the waitress who then brought the manager over. She asked my wife if she wanted something else, so she got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn. (And the manager took the fish and chips off our bill.) But it seemed like the mashed potatoes and corn didn't taste fresh, like they were microwaved, since the plate itself was still hot. The service was good and the waitress was quick to refill our drinks and check on us. But overall, we weren't that impressed with the food so I don't know if we'll be back.

Picked up an online order on 12/6 around 12. One order was for a Cranberry Pecan pancake flip. What I got was far from what was advertised. There were no pecans, filling was more like melted sugar and no cranberry sauce. This was totally disappointing, especially when you paid full price and didn't get anything close to your order. I've been to this Perkins several times before and it's always a hit or miss and this was a big miss.

I really don't know what happens to Perkins. The one in Mt Dora is awful. Hours they will keep you there or totally ignore you. We said ok let's give it a chance in Apoka....silverware so dirty, food came out one plate at a time, waitress seemed nice enough but not attentive. Guy in back not sure if he was cook was in and out of the bathroom every three minute, so that made me uncomfortable. Almost and hour for omelettes and eggs. I'm done with Perkins never ever going back. Almost $40.00 for two egg dish and one coffee.
