Really good place for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and basically for every person that likes good food. The seating is in a patio area, when it rains it will be more take away. Very great verity of food. We orders lots of items and all were just great. Highly recommend the coconut coffee (on oat milk)
Very good food, adequate parking, nice setting in the back for dining. Food arrived quickly. Worth a stop 🛑
First time here. In town for a wedding. Got off the plane hungry. My wife is vegan so we searched vegan options in the area. Decided to try this place out. The menu has some great vegan options. The staff was very helpful. Even gave us a sampler before deciding. The food came out fairly quickly. There’s only outside seating but that doesn’t bother us. And it was gorgeous seating. We will be back and we fully support their dream to have a restaurant in Puerto Rico!
So fresh, delicious, and inventive! Don’t skip the soup or salads. This place is a gem.
Pretty good doesn't even begin to describe it - their vegan chicken sandwich was BOMB and the surprise breakfast sandwich hit the spot. Smashed cucumbers + delicata squash were chefs kiss 💋 But more importantly, their service was top notch. Everyone was super kind, happy to be there and helpful with suggestions. Olivia was so sweet taking our order & gifted us a vegan peanut butter soft serve to celebrate our 8th anniversary! What a wonderful, positive space they've created - we will definitely be back!! 💙
This food fits into my munchie category. There’s plenty of greasy goodness between two buns, and the service is quick. Unfortunately, this location doesn’t have indoor seating. It gets hot outside, and there is a lot of sun exposure.
Pretty Good Advice is a fast casual place with a funny name and great food. Order at one window, pick up at another. There's patio seating around the side. No inside seating or table service. Highly recommend.
My go to place for the past few years living in Santa Cruz. The staff is always friendly and the food is always good. Parking is a little tricky on the weekends, but it’s worth it. This location also has a nice outdoor patio with seating.
Amazing breakfast sandwiches and loved their aioli. Super flavorful sandwich and good bread. Their black bean burger was good too- fresh and homemade. They had a nice patio with seating and friendly service.
We stopped by here for breakfast and pleasantly surprised how good their food was. My boyfriend had a Good Morning Sandwich and I had a Mushroom Philly which had a lot of mushroom and bread was so soft and good. Prices are reasonable and people were friendly as well. We will definitely go back there! We went there again so upload some pics. This time, I had Good Morning Sandwich which was good but I still liked Mushroom Philly better. One on the tray is Mike's Good Morning Deluxe.
This food is so delicious and healthy! You eat their burgers and you feel really good afterwards. Their french fries are actually incredible! I highly recommend you stop by and try out this joint. Also, they have a really cool backyard patio with cute Christmas lights for a really sweet ambience.

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Santa Cruz. Healthy food fast at a fair price. The downtown location just released a breakfast burrito that’s bomb!

This place is one of the best places to eat in Santa Cruz! I love how they have their classic menu items so dialed in, and yet always have something new that's interesting and exciting to try! We're not vegetarian by any means, but we'll always eat at PGA bc it is so fresh and flavorful! Thank you for offering such nourishing, CREATIVE food, and for throwing in extra fruits from your farm when there's surplus, much appreciated!
I come for the vegan sandwich, but every non-vegan / non-vegetarian I’ve brought also ends up loving the food. It’s always a pleasure to eat here, cool & friendly people working here. Fries are above average for sure. I had the soft serve once a long time ago and found it bad, not sure if it’s improved.
My advice is to go check this place out! I heard about Pretty Good Advice a while ago, but just hadn't made my way over to Soquel. Always looking for new places to eat & definitely adding this one into the rotation. I got the house made black bean burger and it was delicious. The prices are super fair for Santa Cruz County. Can't wait to try something else next time!
Such a yummy place. No meat! Such unique and healthy food. There’s seating and a restroom around the back. Outdoor only. There’s a parking lot and it usually doesn’t get full. kind of expensive.
Fresh tasty food at a good price. April was very kind and helpful and we enjoyed sitting in the patio area. Recommend!

Pretty Good Advice has a variety of interesting options that get change up on a regular basis, although the staple sandwiches stay the same. Most recently I ordered the Ryan's Lobstah Roll and fried green tomatoes which was delicious. Don't get scared away if you aren't vegan or vegetarian, I'm neither but have enjoyed everything I've tried at PGA.
Love this place. No frills. Clean kitchen (as seen from outside). Tables outside to sit and eat. Have had most of their sandwiches and burgers over a few visits and they are delicious! One suggestion would be to add umbrellas to more tables 'cos it can get supremely hot in soquel during the summers. On the other hand, one might argue that it spoils the open air feel of the place. Either way, will go back! Worth every penny spent!
Prices were really fair. The vegan soft serve, yum. Rosemary fries with vegan ranch, also yum. I usually avoid vegan burgers because I can’t stand the mess…but I decided to get the hot and cheesy. The flavor was good but like many other veggie burgers, it was messy. House made patties though, which is preferred in my opinion. Bathroom and outdoor seating available.
Pretty nice spot with an interesting take on handheld food items! You order at the counter and they have some nice outdoor seating. Menu seems promising with lots of Santa Cruz locals partaking in the eatery as well. All day breakfast sandwiches is a huge plus! Spicy boy 3.5/5 (would prefer egg cooked medium, needs something more, not spicy in the slightest) Tom’s bright eyes surprise 5/5 House cut French fries with garlic rosemary aioli 3/5 (great seasoning on the fries - maybe too much salt, some of the French fries were kinda mushy, rosemary aioli was great) For local reviews or travel content you can find us on Instagram @sunsetourist
Artisan dishes with a twist. The combination of ingredients didn't seem likely to fit together, but they were matched well. Nice outdoor dining area, very clean. The staff were helpful with menu selection and overall generally pleasant. Food is fresh and cooked perfectly!

I have celiac and this place used to be a go to for gluten free fries and other options. Not anymore! The fries now share a fryer with gluten dishes. Also if you have an allergy, seriously be careful here because they don’t properly educate their employees on allergen safety! Super disappointed.
