I go to the area once a month and always stop here for lunch. I have to say, for a "self-service" restaurant, it's really good. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is a bit like a cafeteria, but it's still clean, but that's how it should be.

We had a saturday lunch with kids. Really helpful staff, who explained the lunch menu in English. Delicious food and good prices. Nothing fancy, but if you want to eat like locals, this is the right place.

I love Il boccone so much! My friend suggested it, so I travelled all the way from Norway, and it was so worth it! I was welcomed by lovely staff and had the best lunch ever! I am definitely recommending this place to everyone I know and I will be back!

Self-service, I've been going there for years. Also takeout. Excellent value. Great selection, from sandwiches to hot/cold dishes. Also a coffee bar. During the week, parking can be a bit tricky, but it's worth it. Thanks to Roberta, Antonio, all the staff, and Carmela for the famous eggplant parmigiana 👍

With a lunch costing just €12, I raised my blood cholesterol levels by at least 50 points, but for the pleasant surprise of being greeted by the lovely Martina at the entrance, I'd even blow my liver out with the discount wine they serve at the checkout. A colleague recommended this place to me, and I thought he had good taste, but no, you think he'd send me here, damn you!
