I stopped by Pollo Regio for the first time last night and I'm mad that I haven't been here before now. The food is really good, the menu has a lot of good things I'm looking forward to trying. I had the loaded nachos with carne asada and it was 🔥🔥🔥. Def going back. The people in there were also really nice and helpful navigating the menu for me Mia especially and there was a younger guy who's name I can't remember. They also have a machine that makes all you can eat tortilla chips! What's not to like, some of the best Mexican food I've had since I moved to Dallas. Give it a try

Authentic Mexican fast food fresher than Chipotle. Mostly chicken dishes served in a variety of ways, whole or half roasted chicken, stewed chicken served on tostada, flauta, or quesadillas. I ordered the bowl with barbacoa and my partner ordered the grilled chicken salad. Lots of protein and you can cut out the carbs by not eating the rice. All delicious.

I always come here when I’m craving a quick street taco kit for lunch! Always hits the spot. Not super greasy, good flavor. Could use a few more workers but the lady at the window was so sweet.

Some of the best food in the area, they season their meats so well. Every time I drive by I notice the smoke coming off the grill makes the whole block smell amazing. Giselle was working the drive thru the last time I visited and she was SO sweet and very helpful!

My daughter introduced me to this place, even though we only live two miles away. I began eating here during a vegan fast in early January and have been a regular every day since. How can Pollo Regio be empty? The grilled chicken is the best around. Perfectly spiced skin with great texture. The meat profoundly cooked. It’s an art to consistently grilling chicken this great. Not the typical HS junior following corporate time specs… you get human skill and touch over open flame grill in every bite! Well. it being 2:19 on a Saturday afternoon might add insight. Or maybe the Regal Chicken might be a victim of its own success. I started going to the dive venues in Euless and a couple in the older parts of Arlington. For atmospherics, chipped paint behind random franchise artwork fronted the fantastic food. Eat-every-day good. The perfectly seasoned and open fire kissed chicken, beans, fluffy rice, fresh tortilla and sauce bar…. And green sauce!!!! That stuff is crack!!!!! This newer venue is much cleaner and tasteful… the signage is updated and corporate consistent. It looks professional. The counter-staff is efficient and well trained. I’ve never had anything other than someone who efficiently takes my order and money card, with varying shades of friendly. If I smile, the odds of getting a smile back is worth doubling. They always deliver accurately and piping hot!! I don’t think corporate has sussed-out that you can mechanize a cooking machine off-site, zap-freeze the product and package it for an anybody to twist-time in a microwave. Good!! The food still has that excellent flavor. And the portions…. The photo is me taking a piece home (and some green sauce!!) for dinner. I’m bach’ing this weekend or there’d be another of the 4 pieces of delectable pollos in that shot. Many a night i’ve shared the finger-licking lunch fare with fresh purchased tortillas and a hefty helping of purloined green on the side. BTW Maria abetted the crime by sharing the to-go plastic you see. You can also blame her for this review. She politely asked me too open up google, and I abide a sunny smile. Treat yourself. Don’t let the classic corporate façade fool you. There is the beating heart of the grubby, cinderblock dive in the counter-service, and the same is obvious in the grill cooks.

From the chips with various salsa in addition to Pico, Cabbage and onions to the quesadilla, my experience was great. I was slightly concerned on bones but was delighted that the quesadilla very tasty. The salad isca BIG salad.

I came in within one hour from closing. The chicken was GREAtlT. It was juicy and super flavorful. The beans were SO bacony and the pickled onion was the BOMB! I'm here visiting from San Antonio and it was a real treat to find this place. I will make it a point to eat here on all my visits here to see family. Manager Joel (the one with absolutely PERFECT hair) was VERY attentive. The boys that work here are SO friendly and hyped about their job. I love their friendly welcoming and jovial disposition. I don't like when places are not up front with their pricing I just came and got in order for my mother and I added one carne asada flour taco. After I paid I noticed an extra charge on the bill when I asked the lady about it she said there's an extra charge for carne asada and an extra charge for flour tortillas. That's not cool! I don't like secrets when ordering that are not revealed until after you've paid. Now if their menu board expresses an upcharge I certainly didn't see it so they need to make it more visible. Previous review : Half chicken with tortillas rice and beans. So good. I love their green sauce!!! My only issue this time. The churro wasn't well fried. It was mushy inside. Also the way they pack the flour tortillas they were all stuck together. And part of the edges were hard for some reason.

Those amazing home made chips they make are soooo good in nachos. I do with they would serve the cold stuff in the side so it can be added right before eating.

Ordered the chicken soup to-go. It was good except they now use diced checked instead of the generous bone-in portions. This was not described on the menu.

Wellll, I have to revise my previous review. I WAS a loyal customer until tonight. We waited a long time for chips and salsa. The young man who served us apologized for the very long wait. When we got home, we realized the chips were burnt, cold and greasy. I called to complain, a young man hung up in my face twice. We then went back to the restaurant to return the chips and asked for a manager and was told he was on break (at 10:50 pm). The young man who served us said he didn't notice the chips were burnt. My husband and I saw him and another guy shaking the seasoning on the chips. I understand things happen, we would have felt better if they would have told us the chips were burned and they were out of chips. We were disappointed because they thought it was ok to serve us something I would not serve to a dog. It's sad for someone to look you in the face and lie to you. The manager was not on a break because he was on a break while we were there waiting for our food. We work hard for our money and we will NO longer be spending it at this restaurant. Do better!!!!

We used to love this place and we would eat here at least twice each month. These past 2 times we’ve been here they started serving half the portion and they haven’t given us tortillas. The flavor is still great but the quantity is just not what it used to be. Don’t think we’ll be back.

Curbside is very inefficient. I called to let them know i was there for my order. They said give them 10mins but the other was done way before then. So i went in to get the order and it had been sitting and almost got cold. If the food isnt brought out, then why is it Curbside?

I hate that when you order a grilled CHICKEN salad and it has bacon 🥓 on it 🐖 although pork is delicious, they eat trash, and carry parasites. You are what you eat. They should just call it a chicken and pork salad to avoid the confusion. I didn't even eat it! Let me start off by saying I love Pollo Regio! I've been a loyal fan of their locations in Dallas, particularly those in Oak Cliff, and I’ve enjoyed countless meals there. So, when I found myself in Arlington and spotted this location on 1050 NE Green Oaks Blvd, I was excited to indulge in my usual favorite: the Tostada Siberia. However, my experience at this Arlington location was disappointing, to say the least. I ordered my go-to Tostada Siberia, a dish I’ve had hundreds of times over the years. Unfortunately, the chicken served to me was far from the quality I’ve come to expect. It was rubbery and tasted like it had been sitting around for a day or two—definitely not what you want when you’re at a restaurant that specializes in chicken. The toppings were minimal, and the overall presentation did not do justice to the vibrant and delicious meals I’ve had at other Pollo Regio locations. I found it hard to believe that this was the same chain I’ve gone to for years. In all honesty, I cannot recommend this place based on my experience. It was so far from what I expected that I was hesitant to even ask for my money back. But hey, every cloud has a silver lining, right? This experience turned out to be the best $15 lesson I’ve had in a long time—sometimes, it's worth it to stick with what you know! Overall, I hope this location can step up its game because I truly want to love Pollo Regio in Arlington just as much as I do in Dallas. Here’s to hoping for a better experience next time!

They leave all the bones and chicken ligaments inside the meat. My quesadilla has several bones and other hard pieces I needed to pick out of my mouth. Who wants to be picking bones from their mouth when they’re chewing on their food. This is unacceptable and doesn’t provide the best food quality. Prior to cutting up your chicken PLEASE REMOVE EVERYTHING BUT THE MEAT AND THEN CHOP IT UP! It’s too many people complaining about this exact issue. I guess y’all will not learn until you get sued.

this particular location (green oaks blvd in Arlington) gets my order wrong every single time. i asked for the half chicken (#14) and spent over $15 for everything in this photo (chicken, tortillas, rice and salsa). This order is supposed to come with all this plus beans and grilled onions… they totally left the beans out, and ignored the fact that asked to substitute fries for the rice. great food, terrible customer service. my order has been wrong the last 3 visits…. i even received another mans food one of those times, which i didnt realize until i had gotten all the way home.

Used to be nice but now they always forget my red salsa when I order and sometimes the beans and rice when I order. This last experience was awful. I asked for the salsa and I showed the girl my reciept, guess she didn't understand my English and she told me there were 2 in the bag. Get home. There's not. And I'm missing my beans and rice again. I used to frequent this place because I live so close, but I guess they changed their policy and started putting all the extras on top instead of side cups. So my order was covered in things I could not eat. I took my untouched food back with the receipt and they asked me why I didn’t check my order before I left and wouldn’t remake it. They gave me cash back for my order but did not include the tax I paid.

No number one in the history of fast food should be over $17. The chicken was sort of dry. If $17 the food better be exceptional but it was mid, and even then, for $17 and no drink included? Blow me. Why not make it $20? Or $40? Or $100? At the Albertsons 100 yards away I can get an entire rotisserie chicken, like the whole thing for six bucks. And it's cooked and everything. This was my first Pollo Regio experience, willing to play along for $17 just to try it. #fail

The chicken was burnt almost 95% of it. I called and Lady said come tomorrow due to the fact that I’m at work today. I cannot go back. I use my lunch break and now my employees are not able to eat the chicken. The crazy part is that she stated I needed tobring the chicken back tomorrow, so she expects me to keep it and then bring it back🤦🏻‍♀️ I know, for a fact that they have to see the chicken before they put it in the box, which is crazy.
