im rarely compelled to make reviews but bro i jsut ordered a bowl on door dash and it was the best chipotle bowl ive ever had, the distribution of toppings was perfect and the portions were bountiful my name is sophie on door dash and it's feb 12th who ever made that bowl you are a real one you made my week thank you queen/king/quing you are awesome

As someone from santa maria this chipotle is leagues better. Great portions and the meat is always tender. Service is good, always looks clean.

Food was great. The staff was really nice and they were efficient. It's a good place to quickly jump in and out to get food if you don't have a lot of time (assuming there isn't a long line) without having to eat too unhealthy, like burger king or McDs. Also, I don't know if this is just me that cares about this a lot, but the bathrooms were really clean. For each person we spent a little over 10 dollars.
Good burrito, good flavors, just that once we went there and they ran out of burrito tortillas, so we went to Tacos de Acapulco instead and weren't disappointed. But for a chain you can't go wrong really. I suppose in a pandemic there's weird supply chain shortages happening in ways that you can't even imagine. I'm not holding it against them, just found it odd is all. I've never seen McDonald's run out of hamburger buns, just sayin'! I have a sneaking suspicion we're witnessing not only an unprecedented supply and demand phenomenon, but also a humanitarian push back towards the service jobs industries as well. It's a dirty process and causes societal growing pains, and everyone's got an opinion, but I think it'll help the working class people eventually force industries to pay living wages and treat people like human beings. As a former chef I like seeing food jobs get better. Anyway, I digress. Chipotle is always pretty consistently good, especially in a pinch!

Solid Chipotle! Staff is on top of it and always helpful. Quality of food is top notch. Takeout orders are reliably prepared when I go to pick up.

Nice staff and quick consistent service :) ! If the to go order isn't ready-not too long of a wait time. My only quarrel is that they close the bathrooms and block them off really early in the evening. This Factor stops me from dining often. I like to use the restroom where I eat to wash my hands and such maybe fix my hair after I eat.
The staff at this location is awesome, a smile and hello from everyone behind the counter. Sometimes seeing your food being prepared isn't the greatest idea though. The food tasted good. I'll just go order ahead next time so I don't have to see the mess 😂
Came in at the tail end of the dinner rush 7pm. They were out of a lot of items at the counter though had them cooking or almost done to restock. The single thing that made the wait worth it was the cheery attitude of the staff. They were joking and making the other customers smile. The positive attitude and kind words of staff were what made this eating experience a joyful one.

Great place for good food without a lot of additives. Still there's cross contamination of food when selecting. Food with juniper in it easily gets into food without. Those drips can make sensitive people sick. Be aware and order accordingly. Wish I could go with my whole family.

Meh, was ok, exactly what you'd expect, outside eating area was unclean.
Ordered 2 salads. Received part of a container of something for dressing. Older man serving us said that's all he had for both salads. He gave us mild salsa for one of the salads. We went across the street and got ranch dressing for 2nd salad, which they did not charge us. Tortilla's were delicious!!!
I bought the bowl I had them fill it up with rice, black beans, carne asada, salad and it was okay not delicious they could have seasoned it a little more. My other complaint the serving size is too small for what they charge

Their choice of protein suffers in presentation. Other than the chicken tray, everything else was either low or overcooked. No fajitas at all. Dirty tables. Chips were under cooked, not crispy.

ORDER MORE RICE AND CHIPS. Seems more often than not I go in and they are out of white rice and/or chips. I recently went in to get a burrito, the gentleman behind the counter informed me that they were out of steak and it'd be ready in a few minutes. I had already informed him the rice I wanted (which he had at the time) and while I wait he serves other guests and runs out of white rice. Only then tells me when the steak is ready after waiting around 5 minutes. Why not just save the portion for my burrito? You know im a paying customer who waited longer for am extra ingredient. ORDER MORE RICE FOR GOD'S SAKE
One of the worst chilotes I've ever been to. The staff is fine but the food is too dry and the portions are not very small. Next time I ask for my burrito with just rice, man, it needs a Latin seasoning, no offense.
Unfortunately always disappointed at this Chipotle location. I have had them make my mobile order wrong on multiple occasions. Sometimes the service is great, but other times the way they portion things out is really off. They are constantly out of items, which is more of a management/corporate issue. Recently they were out of cheese, which seems like a basic necessity for a restaurant. Their chips, half the time, are under salted, overcooked or undercooked. I always get them because when they are made correctly, they are amazing. Feels like they never recovered from COVID, which is really unfortunate.
Bummer! I’ve had pretty good things in past when eating at this location as well a good service until yesterday. Sat, 8/10. I wanted a bowl w/steak…mind you this was around 11:30-12 noon. They were out of lettuce, fresh tomatoes and pico de gallo. Whaaat? The steak was tasty but had a lot of fatty pieces and the chips stale. Very disappointed and will probably resort to Taco Bell’s power bowl in the future.
The chicken was cold, not even warm. Chips are stale, I even overheard someone ask to replace the chips because they tasted stale and the guy behind the counter said they all taste the same, can't tell you these are gonna be any better....really! Should have had them refund my chips and salsa right then. What a disappointment.

Ordered again a salad and burrito online. Picked up sealed bag on take out self. When getting into car decided to check my bag to make sure Vinaigrette for salad was in bag...NOPE, not there. Went back in to ask for the dressing. Response, the blender was still broken. Held up 4 fingers ( notice I didn't hold up just one ) Asked by employee what 4 fingers meant. Response that this was the 4th time. Reply not employees fault . Got home and called corporate and spoke to live person, again. Explained problem(s) and I had called before, and I was less concerned about being given a free reward but, instead getting my order correctly made and bagged. By the way, where does employee's responsibility end. That is, who took the order, who made the salad, who sealed the bag and put it on take out self (and) did not let the customer know ( who drives 10 miles one way ) that the order paid for is incomplete.
Got two burritos at 830 at night. End of the line told there was no cheese, no lettuce, and no guac. Clearly there was, for what looked like a mobile order station? Wasn't offered any kind of discount or anything, full price. When I got to the register and was asked if I wanted any chips or drinks, I responded, "you aren't out of those too?" And was met by a laugh. Corporate did compensate me, but just bad customer service you have to go out of your way after the fact for something that should have been presented on their own.
The chipotle app is horrible or the employees at this location. I enjoy the food, but 7 out of the 8 times I ordered online the food was not ready by the time it stated. Ranging from 10-15 minutes after time stated. The one time it was ready when stated I got there and food was cold so they made it and it sat there. What’s worse if I just ordered while there would have gotten food sooner last time no line and the two employees joking singing not helping the mobile order employee.
1. Have been given food poisoning from this location, including many others that I've spoken about my experiences with. 2. They either don't restock food items or let them sit for so long they become inedible. That's not to mention the poor maintenance of their refrigeration unit where they keep the line prep items. (Which is likely the cause of the rampant food poisonings.) 3. It's impossible to speak to an employee because their phone number is guarded by robots and outsourced call centers. Something simple, like asking if they have something in stock before you order is out of the question because of this. All of this is to say that while Chipotle normally has delicious food that makes me want to give them another shot, I'm reminded that the terrible experience makes the food not worth spending money on. However, they do have some very nice employees amongst the apathetic who stood out to me. Shout out to everyone working hard.
Management has to do better. How is it that your employees can not simply grab sauce from the other serving table you guys have on the side. It makes no sense. They said the have no mild sauce, but yet i seen mild sauce on the other serving booth you guys have. Whatever system you guys have in place needs to improve. Not only myself but a few others walked out. It's a simple fix, get it right.
I almost walked out , The serving trays the employees were using to dish the meat and condiments had so much day old dried food on them I almost left, my wife was hungry so I stuck it out , the female servers were great and very attentive, I had to swipe my debit card five times before being instructed to use the chip, employee told me the manager knew the card reader was bad, the food was ok the chips had week old chips mixed in with crisp ones a sure sign of the manager or owner trying to get rid of his old products. First time experiencing a Chipotle , I hope they are not all like this one.
My wife and I keep seeing the ads on TV looks are deceiving we went there with big hopes. Sorry the food looked disgusting we gave a $20 gift card to a couple of girls and went next and got ice-cream instead
Went in for lunch they had no meats and the station was a mess what they did have looked like it was all dried up. the guy told me that it be almost 20min for beans and meats. The ice machine was still broken and they where out of ice. I didn't wait and walked out. I am not sure what's going on with this location but everytime I go it a bad experience. Where the store manager? Or who is in charge I recommend eating elsewhere.
UGH. The worst experience ever. Negative stars if I could. I placed a delivery order 1 hour before chipotle closed on Grand through the CHIPOTLE APP. Mind you I live 5 minutes away, I was busy and thought chipotle would be great to get delivered. I placed an order and my arrival time was 9:50pm for $66.69. At 9:45 I was getting concerned because I hadn't received any sort of text message letting me know my order was on the way. (They close at 10:00pm). At 9:52pm I call chipotle on grand to make sure my order was still coming. Instead of getting ahold of the grand store I get in contact with chipotle customer support?? They told me my order had been cancelled because it wasn't picked up. At 10:02pm my boyfriend and I jump into the car to run down to chipotle to see if anyone was still there so I could just pick up my order myself (after paying $20+ for it to be delivered). I arrive at 10:07pm, the employees to try to ignore us. They finally grab their manager and she comes out, explaining to my boyfriend that the second the store closes they THROW AWAY any PREPAID orders. Listen, I get it, we placed an order before they closed, but it was placed an HOUR PRIOR to chipotle closing. I expect that if there are any issues with my order that I will be contacted immediately. I wouldn't have been upset at all if they called me and told me a delivery driver never came and that we could pick up our order or they could issue a refund. I would have been there in 5 mins, even before they closed! I'm sooooo upset that they just took my money and didn't contact me at all. If I had never contacted them would they have even given a refund? Did the employees eat my order once it hit 10:00pm?? I can't even begin to describe how terrible this was. NEVER NEVER NEVER place an order with Chipotle ever for delivery. Go pick it up yourself - or better yet, never get chipotle again. Don't accept and order if you can't fulfill it chipotle. You should be ashamed to represent a company with those guidelines - we will never return here, or to any chipotle ever again.
Chicken was undercooked today and noticable pink inside. Definitely a safety hazard. Consistently getting skimped too on my bowl to go. I seriously doubt I got 4oz of meat like I was supposed to. Management has really made this place worse over the last 6 months. I urge everyone to inspect their chicken before they eat it.

It should have been a honey chicken bowl with multiple toppings/no beans and then a honey chicken burrito with different toppings WITH beans. First off I received TWO bowls with no forks and napkins, which was irritating but not horrible. BUUTT seeing that burrito was in the bowl with toppings that was UNWANTED, and the second bowl was damn near just spoon of rice, spoon salsa, few piece lettuce and cheese NO MEAT! Like what are people doing that they didn’t even read the food ticket, and mixed up food topping and orders! $40 down the drain because workers lack or paying attention and responsibility. I tried calling and can’t get anyone to pick up the phone!

They are constantly short staffed yet interviewing people constantly in the restaurant. Their turn over is ridiculous and due to this these new people have no clue how to properly wrap the food and it ends up a complete mess so they just throw another piece of foil over it and when you get home your burrito is inedible falling out everywhere. Not to mention burning simple things like a quesadilla and not wearing gloves when taking the tortillas out of the packaging! That manager is to blame and needs to get it together. Hot mess.

Not a good lunch. Wanted to order the carnitas burrito but the meat didn't look good at all. Ordered the carne asada and that was not good. Got frozen corn. We will not eat here again. I hope dinner comes soon

What happened Chipotle? I went into the Areoyo Grande location and it was dirty. The counters and around meat and other options looked as if it had not been cleaned all day. My husband barely was served a spoonful of beef because the server said ‘we are out’. Staff spent more time talking amongst each other than serving the customers. Tables were dirty and the drink area looked like it had not been refilled since the morning, wrappers and napkins strewn about. So sad to see the restaurant in this condition.
Do not order on doordash around 6-8pm, whoever is preparing food for picks ups literally does not care, you guys are going to end up with a lawsuit eventually for an allergic reaction because this worker does not care what they are putting in the burritos or bowls as long as the order makes it out the door.

I was waiting for an online order for an hour, and there was just one girl preparing the mountain of online orders. I truly feel bad for everyone working there and I hope management gets it together. Additionally all of the tables were dirty and so was the floor, since the workers were so busy trying to get food out that they couldn't clean up. The Agua fresca dispensers were also empty, and the bathroom was disgusting. I would give my experience 0 stars here if I could, and I wish the best for the poor workers who have to endure those conditions.
